  • Cowboys' James Washington: Feeling good, could return soon

Washington (foot) isn't sure when he will make his season debut but said he's "pretty much healed" and "felt great" during a workout Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Washington suffered a foot fracture in August and has been on injured reserve since the start of the regular season. The Cowboys needed him in September more than they do now, but Washington could nonetheless carve out a role at some point this season amidst a receiver group that includes CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup and Noah Brown.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Lions' Josh Reynolds: Bothered by ankle after bye

Reynolds (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday but was able to do work off to the side, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Reynolds played through an ankle sprain the last two games before Detroit's Week 6 bye and caught 13 of 18 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown. In fact, he had 269 yards and 28 targets in the final three games before the bye, seeing extra work because fellow Lions wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and DJ Chark suffered more serious ankle injuries. St. Brown returned to a limited role Week 5 and now is practicing after the Week 7 bye, but the Lions are still banged up at the position with both Chark and Reynolds held out of practice Wednesday. They also get a tough matchup this week, heading to Dallas to face a Cowboys defense that ranks third in points allowed and eighth in yardage.

  • Lions' Jameson Williams: Not ready to come off NFI list

Williams (knee), who is recovering from a torn ACL, isn't ready yet to return from the reserve/NFI list, Jeff Risdon of USA Today reports.

That said, head coach Dan Campbell noted Wednesday that the wideout has "turned the corner over the last month," while adding that the Lions are "pretty optimistic" that the 2022 first-round pick will play at some point this season. Williams remains without a concrete timetable for a potential NFL debut.

  • Panthers' Laviska Shenault: Returns to practice Wednesday

Shenault (hamstring) is taking part in practice Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

While the extent of Shenault's participation isn't yet known, it's still encouraging to see the wideout back on the practice field for the first time since injuring his right hamstring during Week 4. His status for Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay will likely become clearer as the week progresses, but if he's available, he could be in store for an increased role with Robbie Anderson now in Arizona.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Giants' Kadarius Toney: Won't practice Wednesday

Toney (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Kenny Golladay (knee) is also sitting out practice to begin Week 7, leaving his status for Sunday's game against the Jaguars in question. If neither Golladay nor Toney are able to return from multi-game absences this weekend, Darius Slayton, Marcus Johnson, Wan'Dale Robinson, David Sills and Richie James would serve as the Giants' options at receiver.

  • DJ Chark WR | ATL

Lions' DJ Chark: Not ready to practice

Chark (ankle) isn't in line to practice Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Chark has missed the Lions' last two games, and his expected non-participation at practice Wednesday suggests that his status for Sunday's contest against the Cowboys remains cloudy. If he remains out this weekend, Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond would once again be in line for added opportunities in Week 7 alongside top wideout Amon-Ra St. Brown.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Could be limited Wednesday

Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel suggested that Waddle, who is dealing with an apparent shoulder injury, may be limited at practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

The Dolphins' upcoming injury report will confirm the nature of Waddle's injury as well as clarify his official practice participation level. Though the wideout's status is worth monitoring in the coming days, Furones relays that McDaniel expressed optimism about Waddle's chances of playing Sunday night against the Steelers.

  • Bills' Isaiah McKenzie: Catches two passes in win

McKenzie caught two of five targets for nine yards in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Chiefs.

After missing Week 5 due to a concussion, McKenzie operated as the Bills' No. 3 wideout behind fellow receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in his return to the field. The 27-year-old returned to his role as the team's primary slot receiver, playing 51 percent of the team's offensive snaps. Rookie receiver Khalil Shakir also saw some work in the slot after an impressive performance in Week 5, playing 21 percent of snaps in Week 6. Heading into a Week 7 bye, McKenzie has scored three touchdowns in five games played. With that said, he has the potential to disappear in certain matchups in an offense flush with playmakers. The veteran will look to get back on track in Week 8 when the Bills host the Packers.

  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Catches one pass in loss

Moore caught one of three targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Bills.

Moore once again had a quiet game with limited opportunities in Kansas City's offensive attack. However, he has seen his snap percentage increase in recent weeks as the Chiefs look to get the talented rookie involved more in the offense. If this trend continues, Moore could be an intriguing fantasy option down the stretch based on his playmaking ability. With that said, the 5-foot-10, 195-pound wideout will be difficult to rely on in a Week 7 matchup with the 49ers.

  • Chiefs' Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Held catchless in loss

Valdes-Scantling failed to reel in any of his three targets in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Bills.

Valdes-Scantling played 82 percent of the Chiefs' offensive snaps, but the wideout was a complete non-factor in the passing attack. His lackluster performance comes just a week removed from his best game with the Chiefs, in which he paced the team with 90 yards. Valdes-Scantling has been inconsistent in his production and has not been the playmaker many thought he could be in an offense led by Patrick Mahomes. There are likely brighter days ahead for the 28-year-old, but he is becoming increasingly difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. Valdes-Scantling will look to get back on track when the Chiefs visit the 49ers in Week 7.
