Kazmeir Allen RB | WAS
Commanders' Kazmeir Allen: Prepared to practice
Allen (hamstring) is practicing with the team Wednesday.
Allen missed time during OTAs due to the hamstring injury, but it appears he's fully recovered for training camp. The 23-year-old signed with the Commanders in May after going undrafted out of UCLA. He'll work to earn a depth role in Washington's receiving corps.

A.T. Perry WR | PIT
Saints' A.T. Perry: Passes physical Wednesday
Perry (undisclosed) passed a physical Wednesday and was reinstated from the Saints' active/non-football injury list, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Perry spent a little more than a week on the NFI list due to an unknown injury, but he'll now progress to on-field reps with training camp in session. A 2023 sixth-round pick, he was a touchdown machine at the tail end of his collegiate career, hauling in 26 scores in his final 27 games at Wake Forest.

Michael Pittman WR | PIT
Colts' Michael Pittman: Takes first-team reps to open camp
Pittman (hip) handled first-team reps during Wednesday's first practice of training camp, Jake Arthur of SI.com reports.
The Colts are expected to ease Pittman into practices after he missed time during the spring due to a hip injury, but he was able to get some team work in on the first day of camp. The 2020 second-round pick has said he feels 100 percent healthy, so fantasy managers have little reason to be concerned about his status for Week 1 even if Indianapolis opts to ramp up his workload slowly. Being available for all of camp will be key for Pittman as he works to build chemistry with new quarterbacks Gardner Minshew and Anthony Richardson.

CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL
Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Healthy to start camp
Lamb (leg) took part in practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Lamb's participation at the beginning of training camp confirms he's moved past the minor leg injury that caused him to miss a practice or two in June. The fourth-year wideout is locked in as Dak Prescott's favorite target, albeit with a bit more competition for the quarterback's attention after the Cowboys traded for Brandin Cooks and have a healthier version of Michael Gallup. Of course, Dallas also lost tight end Dalton Schultz this offseason, and there's room for the 24-year-old Lamb to command an even larger target share if he continues improving the way he did between his second and third NFL seasons.

Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Building chemistry with new QB
Olave and quarterback Derek Carr connected well at Wednesday's practice, Ross Jackson of SI.com reports.
Carr is surely pleased to have all his top receivers healthy, after he spent part of the offseason program throwing to backups while Olave (Achilles), Michael Thomas (foot) and Rashid Shaheed (groin) dealt with various medical issues. Olave's Achilles soreness was never reported to be serious, and the 2022 first-round pick should quickly emerge as Carr's favorite option downfield on the heels of a 1,000-yard rookie season.
-
Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA
Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Practicing at start of camp
Shaheed (groin) practiced Wednesday, the Saints' official site reports.
Chris Olave and Michael Thomas also took part in practice, giving the Saints a healthy receiver room for the start of training camp after all three players were limited participant or absent from spring practices. Shaheed is the favorite for the No. 3 role, coming off an impressive rookie season in which he went from being undrafted to earning a gadget/return role to nabbing a spot with the first-team offense. Olave and Thomas are the favorites to lead the team in targets this season, but Shaheed should have an important role as the likely return specialist and third or fourth receiver.

Stefon Diggs WR | NE
Bills' Stefon Diggs: Smooth sailing to open camp
Head coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Diggs and the Bills are "on the same page," Alex Brasky of The Batavia Daily News reports.
Diggs missed time early during mandatory minicamp last month, and McDermott said Wednesday that the wideout's frustrations stemmed from the team's playoff loss last season, adding that the issue is now resolved. For his part, Diggs said Wednesday that things are "100 percent" resolved and noted that he would like to finish his career in Buffalo. With both parties in a good spot to begin training camp, Diggs once again finds himself well situated to repeat as one of the most productive wide receivers in the league. The 29-year-old put up an outstanding 108-1,429-11 receiving line in 16 appearances last season.

Marvin Mims WR | DEN
Broncos' Marvin Mims: Should be healthy soon
Broncos head coach Sean Payton said Wednesday that Mims (hamstring) will "be [fully participating] in about four days, five days, maybe a week, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Mims has already missed some time due to a hamstring injury picked up "from a workout more recently," and he'll miss the first few days of training camp as well. It's at least positive news that the rookie second-round pick will be able to return before preseason action kicks off, and that his current issue is unrelated to the injury he had with his other hamstring earlier this offseason. When healthy, Mims will compete for a role in a wide receiving corps headlined by Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.

Marvin Mims WR | DEN
Broncos' Marvin Mims: Tending to hamstring injury
Mims is dealing with a hamstring injury as training camp opens Wednesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Mims, who was limited at points during the offseason with an injury to his other hamstring, should be back at full speed within a few days to a week. The 2023 second-round pick will look to secure a steady role in a Denver wideout corps headed by Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton during his rookie season. Mims' main competition for the No. 3 role will likely come from Tim Patrick (knee) and KJ Hamler (pectoral), who are both working back from season-ending injuries.

Devon Allen WR | PHI
Eagles' Devon Allen: Placed on active/NFI list
The Eagles placed Allen on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury.
The severity of Allen's injury remains unclear, but he's eligible to practice and/or play at any point during the preseason. The undrafted wideout out of Oregon spent the 2022 campaign on Philadelphia's practice squad and was never elevated to the active roster, but he landed a futures deal following the Super Bowl. Last year was Allen's first season back playing football after a decorated track career that included participating in the 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics.
