  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Dealing with knee injury

Coach Doug Pederson said Jones is considered day-to-day with a knee injury and will undergo further testing Monday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Jones briefly left Sunday's game against the Chiefs in the first half with a knee issue but returned and ended up playing 66 percent of the team's offensive snaps. However, he failed to record a reception on six targets. Further clarity on Jones' injury should surface Wednesday, when the Jaguars have to release their first injury report of Week 3.

  • Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Placed on IR

The Steelers placed Johnson (hamstring) on injured reserve Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Johnson was already ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Browns, but he'll now be forced to miss at least four games due to a hamstring injury he suffered during the season opener. Given the Steelers' Week 6 bye, the earliest Johnson could suit up would be Week 7 versus the Rams. In Johnson's absence, Calvin Austin and Allen Robinson should see more snaps behind George Pickens.

  • Brandin Cooks WR | BUF

Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Expected to play Week 3

Cooks (knee) is expected to play in Dallas' Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Cooks is expected to be a limited participant at practice Wednesday before logging a full session Thursday. If that happens, the veteran wideout will be in a good position to suit up after missing Week 2 due to a slight MCL sprain. Cooks was limited in the season opener, catching just two of four targets for 22 yards as the Cowboys routed the Giants.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Browns' Amari Cooper: Still considered a game-time call

Cooper (groin), who is listed as questionable, is going to see how he feels pregame, but there's optimism he'll suit up for Monday's game against the Steelers, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Sunday morning that Cooper was considered unlikely to play, but the extra day off must have been beneficial for the wideout. If he suits up, there's a chance Cooper is limited Monday night, so fantasy managers still should proceed with caution. The veteran caught three of seven targets for 37 yards in the season-opening win over Cincinnati before aggravating a groin injury he dealt with during training camp.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Commanders' Dyami Brown: Catches three passes

Brown caught each of his three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 35-33 win over the Broncos.

Brown has played 27 and now 33 percent of snaps in Washington's first two games, running routes on around one-third of Sam Howell's dropbacks as the No. 4 receiver. While unlikely to usurp Terry McLaurin, Jahan Dotson or Curtis Samuel on the depth chart, Brown could become a near-every-down player if one of the three misses time with an injury (especially McLaurin/Dotson). The whole group seemed to finish Sunday's win healthy, likely leaving Brown as the No. 4 WR again for Week 3 against Buffalo.

  • Colts' Isaiah McKenzie: Records first reception with Indy

McKenzie had one reception for seven yards on one target in Sunday's win at Houston. He also returned one punt for no gain.

McKenzie played just two snaps on offense after only playing special teams in Week 1. McKenzie lost the starting slot receiver role to rookie Josh Downs in preseason, and the former is therefore likely to mostly be used as a punt returner.

  • Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ

Jets' Garrett Wilson: No injury concerns

Coach Robert Saleh said Monday that Wilson (undisclosed) has been cleared of any injuries following Sunday's 30-10 loss to the Cowboys.

Wilson had the wind knocked out of him in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss, but he didn't sustain any form of serious injury. He caught two of eight targets for 83 yards and a touchdown prior to leaving the field. With another tough defense on deck Week 3 when the Jets take on the Patriots, though, Wilson could be primed for another matchup in which Zach Wilson struggles to get the ball in his hands consistently.

  • Van Jefferson WR | WAS

Rams' Van Jefferson: Forgettable day with one catch

Jefferson secured one of four targets for nine yards during Sunday's 30-23 loss to the 49ers.

The emergence of the sensational duo of Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell has relegated Jefferson to a tertiary role in the passing game, with Tyler Higbee and Kyren Williams also recording more targets than the veteran Jefferson during Sunday's contest. Jefferson was the target of one of Matthew Stafford's interceptions and had a drive-killing drop on third down, and his stock is trending down heading into a Week 3 showdown with the Bengals.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Held to 32 total yards

Samuel caught each of his three targets for 19 yards and took one carry for 13 yards in a 35-33 win over the Broncos on Sunday.

Samuel got a bit less playing time than Week 1, mostly because the Commanders had a lead in the second half and used some multi-TE formations. He ran a route on 63 percent of Sam Howell's dropbacks and was one of nine Commanders to draw multiple targets on a day when Terry McLaurin's six represented the team high. Samuel and Co. will face another veteran-laden secondary Week 3 when the Commanders host Buffalo.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Gains 51 yards in win

Jennings had two receptions (on three targets) for 51 yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Rams.

Jennings finished second in receiving yards for the 49ers after being held catch-less Week 1. The 26-year-old made a key play on one of his two receptions when he wrestled the ball away from his defender, turning the play into a 31-yard gain instead of an interception for quarterback Brock Purdy. Despite his strong play Sunday, Jennings is unlikely to see enough targets to warrant consideration outside of deeper formats against the Giants on Thursday.
