  • DJ Turner WR | LV

DJ Turner: Joins Raiders' practice squad

Las Vegas signed Turner to its practice squad Monday.

The Raiders parted ways with Turner during the preseason, but they saw fit to bring him back into the fray now that he's healthy again. Barring multiple injuries in Las Vegas' wide receivers room, Turner probably doesn't have a path to significant playing time this season.

  • Amari Rodgers WR | IND

    Colts' Amari Rodgers: Increased role

Rodgers was targeted twice in the passing game but had no receptions in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.

Rodgers played on 20 of the offense's 78 snaps as he got more plaing time with Alec Pierce suffering a shoulder injury. Rodgers had played just five snaps on offense this season before Sunday. If Pierce is to miss time, it may be Isaiah McKenzie who gets a larger role since he's been more productive as a pass catcher (two receptions Sunday while playing just four snaps on offense), but Rodgers was the player working more as the third and fourth receiver Sunday.

  • Colts' Isaiah McKenzie: Two receptions in loss

McKenzie had two receptions for 23 yards on two targets and returned two punts for 13 yards in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.

McKenzie played just four snaps on offense as continues to primarily serve as a special-teams player. However, he could see a larger role on offense if Alec Pierce misses time with a shoulder injury.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Catches first career TD

Downs had five receptions for 21 yards, including a two-yard touchdown, in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.

While he didn't repeat the strong efficiency from Week 5 (six receptions for 97 yards), Downs had eight targets and was second on the team in that category. With Alec Pierce leaving the game with a shoulder injury, Downs may have an even larger role Sunday against Cleveland.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

    49ers' Deebo Samuel: Considered day-to-day

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Samuel (shoulder) is day-to-day, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Samuel played just nine snaps before exiting Sunday's loss to the Browns. He returned to the sideline in street clothes for the second half. All of the tests on Samuel's shoulder have come back clean, so it sounds like he avoided anything serious. Samuel gets an extra day to rest this week with the 49ers traveling to Minnesota next Monday night. Jauan Jennings and Ray-Ray McCloud saw increased offensive roles behind Brandon Aiyuk following Samuel's injury.

  • Keelan Doss WR | LV

Chargers' Keelan Doss: Gets elevated from practice squad

The Chargers elevated Doss from their practice squad Monday.

Doss will be available for the Chargers for a second consecutive game in Week 6 versus Dallas. In his first game with the Chargers, he played just four offensive snaps and ran just one route.

  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Finishes second in receiving Sunday

Jennings caught two of four targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Browns.

Jennings finished as San Francisco's second leading receiver behind Brandon Aiyuk (4-76-0) after Deebo Samuel (shoulder) was forced out after playing just nine snaps Sunday. Jennings didn't see his snap count rise (35 offensive snaps), as Samuel's role was instead filled by the team's No. 4 option Ray-Ray McCloud (44 offensive snaps). A similar scenario unfolded when Aiyuk had to sit out a game earlier this season, confirming that Jennings is unlikely to move above or below his current slot position this season. So, even if Deebo is forced to miss next Monday's tilt against Minnesota, its safe to say that Jennings' role on offense will remain unchanged.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Estimated as DNP on Monday

Jones (knee) was estimated as a non-participant on Monday's practice report, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Jones remains day-to-day after missing Week 6 against the Colts. The veteran wideout missed Weeks 3 and 4 but returned for Week 5, only to aggravate the injury. He has eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns on 18 targets this season. Calvin Ridley and Christian Kirk have established themselves as Jacksonville's top two wideouts.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

    Saints' Chris Olave: Limited Monday

Olave (toe) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Olave practiced in full last week ahead of Sunday's Week 6 loss to the Texans, when the star wideout turned in a 7-96-0 line on 10 targets. On the short week, Olave could be limited ahead of Thursday's game against the Jaguars, but he's expected to be out there for his normal role.

  • Brandon Powell WR | MIN

Vikings' Brandon Powell: Three receptions in expanded role

Powell had three receptions for 20 yards on four targets and lost a yard on a carry in Sunday's 19-13 win at Chicago. He also returned three punts for an average of 10.7 yards.

Powell played on a season-high 32 snaps on offense (58 percent of the offense's snaps) as he moved into a third-receiver role with Justin Jefferson on injured reserve. He failed to connect on a key third-down pass from Kirk Cousins that would have been a difficult catch but showed he has Cousins' trust.
