Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Working back from knee sprain
Chargers head coach Brandon Staley said Wednesday that Palmer is recovering from a knee sprain, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Palmer was placed on injured reserve prior to Monday's win over the Jets and is thus not eligible to return to action before Week 13. Beyond that, the wideout's timetable for a potential return has yet to be mapped out. In Palmer's absence for the next three weeks, rookie Quentin Johnston and Jalen Guyton will be in store for added snaps behind the Chargers' top receiver, Keenan Allen.

Michael Wilson WR | ARI
Cardinals' Michael Wilson: Limited Wednesday
Wilson (shoulder) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Wilson didn't practice at all last week before the Cardinals included him among their inactive players for this past Sunday's game at Cleveland. With a return to drills to begin Week 10 prep, Wilson may be putting himself in a position to play Sunday against the Falcons. If he's able to do so, the rookie third-round wideout seemingly would be on the receiving end of passes from quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) for the first time in his young career.

K.J. Osborn WR | TEN
Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Sits out first Week 10 practice
Osborn (concussion) was a non-participant at Wednesday's practice.
Osborn was on the receiving end of a helmet-to-helmet hit this past Sunday in Atlanta that sent him into the concussion protocol. The play left him motionless on the turf for a handful of minutes before he made his way to the sideline and eventually the locker room. Osborn's inability to take part in the Vikings' first Week 10 practice isn't a promising sign that he's on track to clear all five phases of the protocol in time to play Sunday against the Saints. Ultimately, Osborn's listing on Friday's injury report may be telling for his upcoming availability.

Allen Lazard WR | NYJ
Jets' Allen Lazard: Deemed limited Wednesday
Lazard (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Lazard approached Monday's loss to the Chargers listed as questionable with a knee injury, but was able to suit up and played 72 of a possible 81 snaps on offense en route to catching two of his six targets for 18 yards. With no reported setbacks coming out of the game, Lazard's listed limitations Wednesday may have been indicative of load management ahead of this weekend's game against the Raiders.

John Metchie III WR | CAR
Texans' John Metchie: Full practice
Metchie (ribs) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
Metchie made a quick recovery from the rib injury that knocked him out of Sunday's 39-37 win over Tampa Bay. He's spent most of the season as Houston's fourth or fifth wide receiver, seeing limited snaps even when Tank Dell or Robert Woods (toe) has been out of the lineup. Metchie will likely be headed for a light role on offense once again this Sunday at Cincinnati, unless both Woods and Nico Collins (calf) are able to play. Collins was a limited participant Wednesday, while Woods missed another practice.
-
Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Limited at practice Wednesday
Collins was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a calf injury.
Collins is tending to the injury after he played 57 of the Texans' 72 snaps on offense en route to finishing with three receptions for 54 yards and a touchdown on five targets in this past Sunday's 39-37 win over the Buccaneers. With a limited practice under his belt, the wideout's status for this weekend's game against the Bengals will need to be monitored. If Collins is able to practice fully by Friday, he'll have a chance to enter the weekend without an injury designation.
-
Justin Jefferson WR | MIN
Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Limited in return to practice
Jefferson (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Wednesday after the Vikings designated him for return from injured reserve.
In his first on-field work since straining his right hamstring during a Week 5 loss to the Chiefs, Jefferson unsurprisingly operated with a cap on his reps. Head coach Kevin O'Connell told Alec Lewis of The Athletic on Wednesday in that he thinks Jefferson being ready to play Sunday against the Saints would "probably be a little aggressive," but the Vikings aren't yet ruling out the receiver from putting an end to his four-game absence this weekend. Jefferson will have two more sessions this week to put himself on a path to play Sunday, but the Vikings will need to activate him from IR by 4 p.m. ET on Saturday for him to have a chance to do so.

Odell Beckham Jr. WR | NYG
Ravens' Odell Beckham: Resting with minor knee issue
Beckham didn't practice Wednesday due to a knee issue, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
The Ravens also list Beckham's absence as being the result of "rest," suggesting that the knee injury isn't serious and won't threaten his availability for Sunday's matchup with Cleveland. He caught five of seven targets for 56 yards and a touchdown in a blowout win over the Seahawks this past Sunday, but he's still only playing about half the offensive snaps each week and lost a fumble prior to his garbage-time score against Seattle.
-
Tee Higgins WR | CIN
Bengals' Tee Higgins: Deemed limited Wednesday
Higgins was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.
Higgins' only prior appearances on the injury report this season were the result of a fractured rib he sustained Week 4, making it unclear if his listed hamstring injury is something he picked up in the Week 9 win over the Bills or during Wednesday's practice. Either way, Higgins' status is now worth monitoring in advance of Sunday's game against the Texans, especially with fellow wideout Ja'Marr Chase having missed Wednesday's session due to a back injury.
-
Drake London WR | ATL
Falcons' Drake London: Limited in practice return
London (groin) was a limited participant Wednesday in his return to practice, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.
London didn't practice at all last week and missed Sunday's 31-28 loss to the Vikings. His return Wednesday -- even in a limited capacity -- gives him some chance to suit up Sunday at Arizona, though D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution notes that London didn't look to be running full speed. Progression to full practice Thursday or Friday would indicate readiness for a return and give London his first shot to play with Taylor Heinicke as the starting quarterback instead of Desmond Ridder.
