Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN
Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Fails to practice Wednesday
Chase (back) was listed as a non-participant in practice Wednesday.
According to Ben Baby of ESPN.com, Chase is dealing with back soreness coming out of the Bengals' Week 9 win over the Bills and now has two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. His status is thus worth monitoring closely as the week progresses, with the same applying to fellow wideout Tee Higgins (hamstring), who logged a limited session Wednesday.

KaVontae Turpin WR | DAL
Cowboys' KaVontae Turpin: Misses practice
Turpin was held out of Wednesday's practice with a shoulder injury.
A 2022 Pro Bowl selection, Turpin brings most of his value to the Cowboys in the return game, as he notably brought back kicks for gains of 48 and 63 yards over the past two games. He's also done well with his limited chances on offense this season, carrying seven times for 66 yards and a touchdown while adding seven catches for 69 yards and two scores on nine targets. The Cowboys may turn to Deuce Vaughn to handle returns if Turpin isn't ready to play this Sunday against the Giants.

Zay Jones WR | ARI
Jaguars' Zay Jones: Limited in return to practice
Jones (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
Jones left practice early after testing his injured knee, but he said afterward that he's making progress and suggested the brevity of his appearance wasn't indicative of a setback. He also confirmed that he received second opinion on his knee, coming out of a bye week after playing just one of Jacksonville's past six games. Head coach Doug Pederson said Monday that Jones could be a candidate for injured reserve, but the wideout looks like he'll stay on the active roster for the time being even while he remains uncertain to play this Sunday against the 49ers.

Donovan Peoples-Jones WR | NO
Lions' Donovan Peoples-Jones: Tending to rib issue
Peoples-Jones was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report due to a rib injury.
When the Lions acquired Peoples-Jones from the Browns at the trade deadline last Tuesday, Peoples-Jones wasn't tending to a health concern. Detroit also happened to be on a Week 9 bye, so the current rib issue may have popped up during his physical. It's not exactly the best way to begin his stint with a new squad, and it could affect his ability to make inroads in the passing game right away, especially in a receiving corps with experienced options Amon-Ra St. Brown, Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond as well as second-year pro Jameson Williams. In the end, People-Jones' status will be one to monitor as the week goes on to see if he'll be able to make his debut with the Lions on Sunday at the Chargers.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Patriots' DeVante Parker: Logs limited practice
Parker (concussion) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Parker didn't practice last week before sitting out the Patriots' loss to the Commanders, so his return to a limited session Wednesday is a step forward for the wideout. That said, Parker will still need to clear the five-step concussion protocol in order to have a chance at suiting up Sunday against the Colts.
-
Demario Douglas WR | NE
Patriots' Demario Douglas: Limited by ankle issue
Douglas was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
Douglas appears on the Patriots' first Week 10 injury report after he paced the New England receivers in offensive snaps (53) and receiving yards (55) in this past Sunday's loss to the Commanders. With no reported setbacks in the contest, Douglas' limitations Wednesday may well be maintenance-related. In any case, he'll need to practice fully by Friday in order to avoid heading into Sunday's game against the Colts with an injury designation.

Deebo Samuel WR | WAS
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Will be 'full go' Wednesday
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Samuel (shoulder) will be "full go" at Wednesday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Samuel sustained a hairline fracture in his left shoulder during the 49ers' Week 6 loss in Cleveland, which kept him sidelined for the team's next two games. He was expected to miss at least that much time, and with the benefit of a Week 9 bye, he seemed back to his normal self at Monday's informal session, according to Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area. With an uncapped session on tap Wednesday, Samuel is set to resume his status as one of San Francisco's top playmakers on offense. In five games prior to suffering the current health concern, he notched 20 catches (on 31 targets) for 302 yards and one touchdown and 16 carries for 84 yards and another score.
-
Josh Downs WR | IND
Colts' Josh Downs: No practice activity Wednesday
Downs (knee) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.
Downs was listed as questionable heading into this past Sunday's game against the Panthers with the same injury and played just 12 snaps before exiting with an apparent aggravation of the knee issue, according to Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star. Given that Wednesday's practice was a walk-through session, what Downs is able to do Thursday will provide the next layer of context regarding his status for Sunday's game against the Patriots. If Downs is out this weekend, Isaiah McKenzie would be in line to see added snaps alongside Michael Pittman and Alec Pierce.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Back in limited fashion
Samuel (toe) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Samuel took part in his first official on-field work since injuring his toe Oct. 29 against the Eagles. He'll have two more opportunities to get back to a full session this week, but considering his lengthy history of lower-body injuries, the Commanders may continue to cap his reps Thursday and Friday, at which point the team could make a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game at Seattle.

Parris Campbell WR | DAL
Giants' Parris Campbell: Dealing with hamstring issue
Campbell was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
The production of the Giants receiving corps has been lacking due to uneven quarterback play, and Campbell's workload has been yanked around through nine games. After being contained to less than 10 percent of offensive snaps from Weeks 6 through 8, he bounced back somewhat to 22 percent this past Sunday in Las Vegas, where he hauled in both of his targets for 15 yards and also had five kick returns for 110 yards. Campbell will have two more chances to get back to full activity before New York potentially hands him a designation for Sunday's game at Dallas.
