  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Expected to play

Saints head coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that Olave (ankle) will play in Thursday's game at the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The Saints listed Olave as a limited participant in Tuesday's walk-through session, hinting at some level of progress after he missed all three of the team's practices last week before he was inactive for a 24-6 win over the Giants on Sunday. Allen said Olave will play Thursday, though the coach didn't specify whether or not the wideout will be listed with a game day designation on the final Week 16 injury report.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Too sick to practice

Mooney missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness.

Though Mooney was out sick to begin Week 16 prep, he'll still have two more chances to potentially get in some practice work ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. In last week's 20-17 loss to Cleveland, Mooney was limited to two catches for 14 yards on a season-high eight targets, with his last look of the day coming on a Hail Mary throw by Justin Fields that the wideout nearly brought in on a ricochet from a defender for what would have been a game-winning touchdown. Instead, Mooney was unable to secure the catch and inadvertently kicked the ball up in the air for a Browns interception.

  • Ravens' Odell Beckham: Not spotted at Wednesday's practice

Beckham didn't practice Wednesday for unspecified reasons, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The Ravens won't release their first Week 16 injury report until Thursday, so Beckham's absence Wednesday could simply be rest-related rather than the result of a legitimate health concern. Beckham and the Ravens will benefit from an extra day of rest in between games this week, as the team will travel to San Francisco for a Monday night matchup with the 49ers.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Bothered by foot Wednesday

Flowers (foot) didn't practice Wednesday due to a foot injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

The Ravens won't release their first official Week 16 injury report until Thursday, but if his lack of activity Wednesday is any indication, Flowers could open the week as a non-participant. Given that the Ravens will travel to San Francisco for a Monday game against the 49ers, Flowers will have an extra day to heal up from the injury he presumably sustained in this past Sunday's win over Jacksonville. The injury could in part explain why Flowers was limited to one catch for seven yards on two targets in Week 15, all of which were his worst or second-worst marks of the season.

  • Robbie Chosen WR | WAS

Dolphins' Robbie Chosen: Gets expanded snaps with Hill out

Chosen played 23 of the Dolphins' 61 snaps on offense but wasn't targeted in Sunday's 30-0 win over the Jets.

With Tyreek Hill (ankle) missing his first game of the season, Chosen re-entered the mix at receiver after he had been a healthy inactive for each of Miami's previous three contests. Though he ran his second-most routes of the campaign (11), Chosen didn't draw any looks from quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who threw only 24 passes in the blowout win and was mostly dialed in on Jaylen Waddle (8-142-1 receiving line) as his favorite target. If Hill is able to play in the Dolphins' Week 16 game against the Cowboys, Chosen could find himself back on the inactive list.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Misses first Week 16 practice

Jones (hamstring) isn't practicing Wednesday, Juston Lewis of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Considered head coach Doug Pederson labeled Jones as week-to-week earlier Wednesday, the wideout's absence from practice is hardly a surprise. If Jones is unable to play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Parker Washington and Jamal Agnew could be in line for larger roles in a Jacksonville offense that could have C.J. Beathard at quarterback instead of Trevor Lawrence (concussion).

  • Marquise Brown WR | PHI

Cardinals' Marquise Brown: Not at practice

Brown (heel) isn't practicing Wednesday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

Arizona head coach Jonathan Gannon already acknowledged that Brown is uncertain to play Sunday at Chicago, though the Cardinals don't anticipate placing him on injured reserve this week. The wide receiver didn't play after halftime in Arizona's past two games, as he aggravated his lingering heel injury during the second quarter of both contests. A Week 14 bye sandwiched between those games didn't seem to help Brown move past the issue, and at this point, he'll be an extremely risky fantasy option even if he manages to play Week 16.

  • Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN

Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Misses another practice

Chase (shoulder) remained sidelined at practice Wednesday, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Chase remained sidelined for the Bengals' first practice of the week Tuesday and has just one more chance to log some on-field reps ahead of Saturday's game against the Steelers. At this stage, the wideout is trending toward sitting out Week 16, and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network suggests that Chase could be at risk of missing the Bengals' Week 17 game in Kansas City, too. Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon and Tanner Hudson will likely represent quarterback Jake Browning's top options in the passing game if Chase isn't able to play this weekend.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Remains sidelined Wednesday

Collins (calf) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Collins didn't practice last week before missing this past Sunday's win over the Titans due to the calf strain. He's not starting off Week 16 prep on the right foot, but Collins still has two more chances to potentially fit in some practice activity before the Texans decide on his status for Sunday's game against the Browns. If Collins remains unavailable, Noah Brown, Robert Woods and Xavier Hutchinson would be in line to lead the Texans' receiving corps.

  • Jayden Reed WR | GB

Packers' Jayden Reed: Starts week with practice absence

Reed (toe) isn't practicing Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Reed dealt with chest and ankle injuries earlier this month, but it was a different injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay in the fourth quarter. An absence from practice to start the week suggests he's in at least some danger of missing this Sunday's game at Carolina.
