  • Jets' Jason Brownlee: Listed as limited Wednesday

Brownlee (ankle) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Brownlee's role on offense had been expanding before he sustained an ankle injury during the Jets' Week 13 loss to the Falcons. He's been out of action for the past two games, but he's taking a step forward by beginning Week 16 prep as a limited participant. Brownlee may still need to upgrade to full activity by Friday to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's matchup with the Commanders.

  • Treylon Burks WR | WAS

Titans' Treylon Burks: Misses practice with illness

Burks didn't practice Wednesday due to an illness, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Burks -- who caught all three of his targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 19-16 overtime loss to the Texans -- still has two more chances to practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Seahawks. Assuming he's available for the contest, the 2022 first-round pick will be in line to maintain a key role in the Titans' wideout corps, especially after Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (hand) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Remains limited at practice

Wicks (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.

Wicks had the busiest day of his brief career to date this past Sunday against the Buccaneers with Christian Watson (hamstring) missing his second game in a row. Overall, Wicks earned 47 of the Packers' 60 offensive snaps and reeled in six of seven targets for 97 yards, connecting with quarterback Jordan Love for three plays of 20-plus yards. Having said that, the ankle issue that resulted in Wicks being a limited participant in two sessions last week has followed him into Week 16 prep. Wicks is healthier than Watson and Jayden Reed (toe/chest), both of whom didn't practice Wednesday. If one or both of Watson and Reed aren't able to suit up Sunday in Carolina, Wicks likely would join Romeo Doubs as the Packers' top options at wide receiver.

  • Titans' Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Lands on IR

Tennessee placed Westbrook-Ikhine on injured reserve Wednesday due to a hand injury, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

With the Titans eliminated from playoff contention, Westbrook-Ikhine's 2023 season has come to a close due to the injury. The wideout will finish the campaign with a 28-370-3 receiving line on 45 targets through 14 games. The 26-year-old is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. In his absence down the stretch, Treylon Burks and Chris Moore could see added snaps at receiver behind No. 1 option DeAndre Hopkins.

  • Chris Godwin WR | TB

    Buccaneers' Chris Godwin: Limited Wednesday

Godwin (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's injury report.

Godwin also tended to a knee injury during Week 15 prep, which contained him to just one full practice last Friday. While he entered the weekend as questionable for this past Sunday's game at Green Bay, he didn't look worse for wear as he ran roughshod over the Packers defense for 10 catches (on 12 targets) for 155 yards, including four plays of 20-plus yards. With the aforementioned health concern following him into this week, Godwin's status will need to be watched to ensure he isn't in danger of missing Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.

  • Tutu Atwell WR | MIA

Rams' Tutu Atwell: Cleared for Thursday

Atwell (concussion) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game against the Saints.

After Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Monday that Atwell cleared concussion protocol, the wide receiver then was listed as a full participant on all three of the Rams' Week 16 injury reports. Atwell thus will work behind starting wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua on Thursday, an arrangement that hasn't afforded the third-year pro many looks in the passing game when the latter two players are available. Kupp and Nacua have played in every game since Week 5, resulting in Atwell settling for a cumulative 15-206-2 line on 28 targets over his last nine contests.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Limited on Wednesday's estimate

Pittman (concussion) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.

The fact that Pittman is estimated as a practice participant to any extent is an encouraging sign, though he will need to return to full participation at some point over the next two days in addition to gaining clearance from an independent neurologist in order to exit the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and potentially play Sunday against the Falcons. Pittman recorded four catches for 78 yards on five targets in last Saturday's 30-13 win over the Steelers before exiting the contest after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit from Pittsburgh safety Damontae Kazee.

  • Zay Flowers WR | BAL

Ravens' Zay Flowers: Coach not concerned with injury

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said there's no concern about the Week 16 availability of Flowers (foot), who didn't practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Flowers doesn't appear to be in danger of missing Monday's game against the 49ers, and he could put any worry about his health to rest by returning to full practice participation in any of Baltimore's three remaining practices this week. The rookie wideout is nursing the foot injury after he was held to one catch for seven yards on two targets in this past Sunday's 23-7 win over Jacksonville.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: Ready for Week 16

Olave (ankle) doesn't have a designation for Thursday's game at the Rams.

Earlier Wednesday, head coach Dennis Allen relayed that Olave is "good to go" for the Week 16 game, per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com. Olave wasn't able to practice at all last week before he was deemed inactive ahead of this past Sunday's win over the Giants, but his ability to log a limited walkthrough Tuesday and take part in a full walkthrough one day later paved the way for him to be available this week. He'll thus be facing the Rams' 21st-ranked pass defense (226.1 yards per game) Thursday.

  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Misses practice again

Allen (heel) isn't practicing Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Allen was spotted working on the side with a trainer Tuesday but still hasn't officially participated in practice in any capacity since Week 14. He thus appears uncertain for Saturday's game against Buffalo, with the Chargers' lack of playoff hopes potentially being a factor in whether the team decides to make him active or inactive for the contest.
