  • N'Keal Harry TE | SEA

Vikings' N'Keal Harry: Gets look at new position

Harry has gotten work at tight end during OTAs, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.

Harry has struggled to find his footing in the NFL since being selected in the first round of the 2019 Draft by the Patriots. Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, the 26-year-old arguably has the size of the position, and the shift could help him find the potential he was drafted for in the league.

  • 49ers' Brandon Aiyuk: Holding out from minicamp

Aiyuk is not present at 49ers' minicamp this week as he seeks a new contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

This was expected after Aiyuk didn't report for voluntary OTAs following an offseason full of trade speculation. The wideout ultimately wasn't traded, and the two sides have reportedly engaged in dialogue regarding a new deal, though nothing has seemed to advance further than the talking stage. Aiyuk is scheduled for a $14.124 million salary in 2024, the final year of his rookie deal. He's one of the many receivers around the league set to be paid handsomely, although it's unclear if San Francisco will ultimately be the team signing the checks.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Should be ready for camp

Brown (shoulder) is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next month, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Brown is still recovering from surgery to repair a torn labrum he suffered in the Texans' playoff win over the Browns back in January. However, the veteran wideout seems to be on track in his rehab and should be healed well in advance of Week 1. Following the Texans' addition of Stefon Diggs to go with Nico Collins and Tank Dell, Brown will be in the mix for fourth wideout duties in Houston after re-signing on a one-year deal over the offseason.

  • Xavier Legette WR | CAR

Panthers' Xavier Legette: Missing practice again

Legette (hamstring) isn't practicing Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

Legette first missed practice last Wednesday, with Panthers coach Dave Canales saying the rookie "looked tight" the day before. Legette's hamstring injury doesn't appear too serious, as he's working off to the side with Carolina's training staff Tuesday. He'll likely be ready for the start of training camp in late July even if he doesn't practice again before then.

  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Holding out from minicamp

Lamb is holding out from June minicamp in pursuit of a new contract, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Lamb didn't attend voluntary OTAs and now is missing the first mandatory activities of the offseason. David Helman of FOX Sports reports that the Cowboys can fine Lamb around $100,000 in the likely event he misses all three days of June minicamp, though the wideout presumably won't care much if it helps him secure a new contract. He's likely looking for a deal that's similar or slightly south of the four-year, $140 million extension that Vikings WR Justin Jefferson is signing this week. If nothing gets done before training camp, Lamb may well continue his holdout into August.

  • Jaguars' David White: Tears ACL

White suffered a torn ACL during practice Monday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.

Jacksonville coach Doug Pederson referred to the injury as non-contact and said White might move to injured reserve, per Harvey. White signed with the Jaguars in April after catching 34 passes for 519 yards and six touchdowns as a senior at Western Carolina.

  • Jaray Jenkins WR | PIT

Steelers' Jaray Jenkins: Lands in Pittsburgh

Jenkins signed with the Steelers on Monday.

The wide receiver was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Jaguars before the 2023 season. He caught 27 passes for 404 yards and six touchdowns during his final season with LSU in 2022.

  • David Wallis WR | NE

Patriots' David Wallis: Signs with New England

Wallis signed with the Patriots on Monday.

The free agent took part in the team's rookie minicamp last month. Wallis played four collegiate seasons at Randolph Macon and caught 41 passes for 1,189 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2022. The 22-year-old will try to compete for a role on a wide receiver depth chart with no clear standouts.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Expected back for training camp

Davis (knee) should be cleared for training camp, Zach Goodall of Jaguars Wire reports.

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said Monday that he expects Davis and a fellow new addition, defensive lineman Arik Armstead (knee), to be ready for the start of training camp. The team signed Davis to a three-year, $39 million contract in March, shortly before losing Calvin Ridley to the Titans. Jacksonville then drafted WR Brian Thomas in the first round and released Zay Jones a few days later. Davis and Christian Kirk are locked in for top-three WR roles and large snap counts, while Thomas has a bit more to prove but could ultimately become Trevor Lawrence's favorite downfield target. Davis suffered a PCL sprain Week 18 last season, causing him to miss both of Buffalo's playoff games and now all of Jacksonville's spring practices.

  • Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Signing four-year extension

Jefferson reached agreement with the Vikings on Monday on a four-year contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network both report Jefferson's deal as a four-year, $140 million contract with $110 million guaranteed, giving the wideout the new record for average annual value ($35 million) among non-quarterbacks. He'll turn 25 years old later this month and already has 5,899 career receiving yards, with his average of 98.3 per game easily being the all-time record (Calvin Johnson is second at 86.1). Jefferson will enter the 2024 season without Kirk Cousins as his quarterback for the first time, instead catching passes from 10th overall pick J.J. McCarthy and/or Sam Darnold.
