Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Week 7 status TBD
Coach Sean McVay said Monday that a Week 7 return for Kupp (ankle) "would be an ideal target," but he added that was an "optimistic target date" and "by no means is that guaranteed," Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Per Rodrigue, McVay declined to say whether Kupp will return to practice after the Rams' Week 6 bye, so the wideout's Week 7 status remains cloudy at this stage. Kupp suffered a left ankle sprain in the Rams' Sept. 15 loss to the Cardinals and hasn't practiced since then.

Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Quiet game Sunday
Jennings had one reception (on three targets) for 13 yards in Sunday's 24-23 loss to the Cardinals.
Jennings saw his usual allotment of snaps on offense (57 percent) but simply was not involved enough to produce positive fantasy results. The veteran slot man goes through quiet spells from time to time, so his value shouldn't have changed much assuming managers weren't shooting for the moon. Jennings and the 49ers will travel to Seattle for Thursday Night Football in Week 6.

Jalin Hyatt WR | NYG
Giants' Jalin Hyatt: Logs 48 snaps without target
Hyatt did not receive a target or carry in Sunday's 29-20 Week 5 win over Seattle.
With Malik Nabers (concussion) unable to suit up for the contest, it was expected that Hyatt would get more of an opportunity to produce after topping out at just 15 offensive snaps over his first four games. That opportunity did come to pass -- Hyatt was on the field for 48 of New York's 72 offensive snaps -- but production did not follow, as he wasn't targeted for the second time this season. Hyatt was selected in the third round of the 2023 Draft to help boost what was then an unexciting receiving corps, but he caught just 23 passes (on 40 targets) over 17 regular-season games as a rookie and now appears to be almost completely an afterthought in the Giants' passing game. Given his performance Sunday, there's little reason for fantasy managers to consider starting him Week 6 against Cincinnati even if Nabers is held out again.

Romeo Doubs WR | NE
Packers' Romeo Doubs: Expected to practice Wednesday
Doubs (suspension) plans to practice Wednesday after a meeting with the Packers on Monday "went well," Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.
Doubs was suspended for Green Bay's Week 5 win over the Rams for conduct detrimental to the team. The wide receiver was reportedly frustrated with his lack of targets. If he and the team have hashed out their differences, Doubs could be back in the mix against the Cardinals in Week 6. Prior to the suspension, Doubs had been filling a starting role in Green Bay's young receiving corps.

Tanner Knue WR | TB
Tanner Knue: Back in Tampa Bay
Knue signed with the Buccaneers' practice squad Monday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Knue spent training camp with Tampa Bay and will now get another opportunity with the franchise after they placed Cody Thompson (shoulder) on the practice-squad injured list. The Eastern Michigan product had nine catches on 13 targets for 86 yards and a touchdown with the Bucs during the preseason.

Cody Thompson WR | TB
Cody Thompson: Out at least four weeks
Thompson (shoulder) was placed on the Buccaneers' practice-squad injured list Monday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Thompson suffered the injury in Thursday's loss to the Falcons after he was elevated from the practice squad for the matchup. However, he did revert to the practice squad Friday before his placement on the injured list. He'll now be out of action and unable to practice with the team for at least the next four weeks.

Tyler Johnson WR | DAL
Rams' Tyler Johnson: Invisible in loss
Johnson failed to record a target and played 11 snaps on offense during Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Packers.
For the first time this season, Johnson was completely blanked on the stat sheet, a week after failing to secure his lone target in a loss to the Bears. Even with Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee) out, Johnson's role has steadily reduced as Demarcus Robinson, Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington have commanded the majority of Matthew Stafford's attention among wideouts. With Kupp potentially returning after the Rams' Week 6 bye and Nacua returning shortly after, Johnson's already limited role likely will continue to be reduced in the coming weeks.
-
Rashod Bateman WR | BAL
Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Best game of season Sunday
Bateman caught four of eight targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in the Week 5 win over the Bengals.
Bateman's role is settling in -- he played 63 percent of the snaps, marking the third week in a row with a snap share north of 60 percent. However, he was far more active this week, as he set season highs in targets, catches and yards. History suggests that there won't be many weeks where Baltimore is going to the air over 40 times, though it's not out of the question for the Week 6 game against Washington, which is expected to be the highest-scoring matchup of the week. With that in mind, Bateman could be a viable waiver-wire candidate for teams in need of a bye-week replacement.

Nico Collins WR | HOU
Texans' Nico Collins: Called week-to-week by coach
Coach DeMeco Ryans called Collins (hamstring) week-to-week Monday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports. "It takes a couple of weeks for a hamstring," Ryans said. "So we'll evaluate him on a week-to-week basis."
Collins' week-to-week status casts doubt on his availability for Sunday's game against the Patriots, though more clarity on his potential availability should surface when the Texans submit their first practice report Wednesday. Ryans originally labeled Collins day-to-day after the star receiver was injured in this past Sunday's 23-20 win over Buffalo, but the slightly less optimistic week-to-week assessment seems more realistic. Despite exiting in the first half against Buffalo, Collins leads the NFL with 567 receiving yards.

Ashton Dulin WR | IND
Colts' Ashton Dulin: One carry in loss
Dulin had one carry for nine yards but didn't have any targets in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.
Dulin played on 15 of the offense's 70 snaps as the Colts frequently deployed multiple-receiver sets while playing from behind much of the game. Dulin is a key special-teams player, but he won't get many more snaps per game as the No. 5 receiver on offense, barring injuries elsewhere in the receiving corps.
