Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Doesn't expect to miss time
Legette (shoulder) said Monday he expects to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Falcons, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Legette is set to undergo imaging tests Monday to determine whether he sustained an AC joint injury while being forced out of Week 5's loss to the Bears, but the rookie first-round pick doesn't anticipate having to miss any time. Nonetheless, fantasy managers will want to monitor Legette's practice activity leading up to Week 6 action. If Legette is able to practice in at least a limited capacity Wednesday, it will bode well for his chances of suiting up versus Atlanta.

Adonai Mitchell WR | NYJ
Colts' Adonai Mitchell: Four receptions in loss
Mitchell had four receptions for 38 yards on seven targets and one carry for four yards in Sunday's loss at Jacksonville.
Mitchell surprisingly played on 19 of the offense's 79 snaps and had seven targets after having no receptions and four targets combined the prior two games with the return of Josh Downs from an ankle injury. Mitchell had another drop and mixed performance, so he may struggle to find steady work as the No. 4 receiver with the top three options healthy. He appeared to have won the third receiver role over Alec Pierce in the preseason, but Pierce has a clear hold on that job at this point.

Jalen Nailor WR | LV
Vikings' Jalen Nailor: No targets in win
Nailor didn't have a target or carry in Sunday's win over the Jets in London.
Nailor played on 41 of the offense's 73 snaps and went out on 25 routes, according to Pro Football Focus. He's getting time in the offense as the third receiver but may not get many targets as long as Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison are healthy. Nailor's role could be reduced further if T.J. Hockenson is able to return from a knee injury after Minnesota's bye in Week 6.

Gabe Davis WR | BUF
Jaguars' Gabe Davis: Three receptions in win
Davis caught three of four targets for 38 yards and lost a fumble during Sunday's 37-34 win against the Colts.
The 25-year-old's only major contribution Sunday came on a 21-yard reception during the second quarter, but he negated that gain by losing a fumble. He was also called for offensive pass interference on the play, which Indianapolis obviously declined. Davis' 78 percent snap share led Jacksonville's wide receivers, but he once again wasn't a featured component of the passing game. Christian Kirk has settled in after a slow start to the season, while rookie Brian Thomas has emerged as the offense's playmaker through the air.

Chris Conley WR | SF
49ers' Chris Conley: Still tending to injury
Conley (oblique) is considered day-to-day as the 49ers begin Week 6 prep Monday,Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.
Conley has been considered day-to-day since last Monday; however, the veteran wideout hasn't practiced since. Whether or not he'll be able to play in Week 6 against the Seahawks likely won't be decided until closer to Thursday night's kickoff.
-
Jacob Cowing WR | SF
49ers' Jacob Cowing: Iffy for Thursday
Cowing (shoulder) is considered day-to-day as the 49ers begin Week 6 prep Monday, Lindsey Pallares of the 49ers' official site reports.
Cowing has been considered day-to-day since Sept. 30 after he suffered his shoulder injury in Week 4 against the Patriots. The rookie receiver was able to return to practice this past Friday, so he's at least made some progress in that time. Whether or not he'll be able to play in Week 6 likely won't be clear until closer to Thursday night's kickoff.

Xavier Legette WR | CAR
Panthers' Xavier Legette: Getting AC joint tested
Legette (shoulder) said Monday he is expected to undergo imaging tests on his AC Joint, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Legette was forced out of Sunday's loss to the Bears with a shoulder injury, and it appears the Panthers are concerned about the possibility of an AC joint injury. The results of Monday's imaging tests will reveal more about the rookie first-round pick's expected recovery timetable, though it's possible Carolina won't offer an actionable update until Wednesday's first official injury report of Week 6. In the event that Legette isn't cleared to face the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 13, Jalen Coker will get a chance to work alongside Diontae Johnson and Jonathan Mingo in three-wide sets.
-
Ricky Pearsall WR | SF
49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Practice window won't open Week 6
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Pearsall (chest) will not have his practice window opened ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Pearsall will continue his rehab process, with San Francisco facing a short week of practices en route to a Thursday night divisional matchup against Seattle. For the time being, the rookie first-round pick will remain on the reserve/non-football injury list due to a gunshot wound sustained during an attempted robbery on Aug. 31. The 49ers haven't yet offered a clear timetable for Pearsall's return to practice, but with Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings all healthy, the team has no incentive to rush him back.
-
Tyquan Thornton WR | KC
Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Just one snap Sunday
Thornton was one the field for only one of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Sunday's 15-10 loss to the Dolphins, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Though K.J. Osborn (shoulder) was inactive, Kendrick Bourne (knee) returned to action Sunday and Kayshon Boutte logged 40 snaps. With his playing time tapering off, Thornton is far from the fantasy radar, with Chris Mason of masslive.com suggesting that the 2022 second-rounder could be a trade candidate.

Calvin Austin III WR | NYG
Steelers' Calvin Austin: Logs just one catch in loss
Austin secured one of two targets for six yards during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Cowboys.
Although Austin was on the field for 76 percent of the of the Steelers' offensive snaps Sunday -- which ranked second among the team's wide receivers -- he was held to just one catch for the fourth time in five appearances this season. The 2022 fourth-rounder had tallied double-digit receiving yards in his two outings before Sunday's prime-time matchup, but he's had a limited target share for most of the year so far.
