Engram (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

After missing Weeks 2 through 5 with a hamstring injury, Engram returned for Sunday's 35-16 loss to the Bears and caught each of his 10 targets for 102 yards while handling a 62 percent snap share and a 75 percent route share. Injury reports Thursday and Friday should provide a better idea about whether his hamstring is still a concern heading into Sunday's game against the Patriots, or if the Jaguars are just being cautious.

Okwuegbunam (abdomen) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.

Okwuegbunam has yet to appear in a game for the Eagles this season after sustaining an abdomen injury in mid-August that landed him on IR. However, the opening of his practice window Wednesday indicates that the 26-year-old is nearing a return to the field. The Eagles now have 21 days to activate Okwuegbunam to their active roster before he reverts to IR. Expect the second-year Eagle to serve as a depth piece in the team's tight end room once he's past his injury.

Firkser reverted to the Jets' practice squad Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Firkser was elevated to the Jets' active roster ahead of Monday night's win over the Bills, but he'll now rejoin the team's practice squad. The Harvard product could be elevated to New York's active roster again if the Jets' tight end room faces injuries later this season.

Hill (ribs) is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against Denver, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Hill appears set to miss out on an opportunity to take on a larger-than-usual role in the absence of Saints wide receivers Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (knee). Head coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that he's hopeful Hill can return for an Oct. 27 matchup with the Chargers in Week 8, according to John Hendrix of SI.com.

Tremble (concussion) practiced as a limited participant Wednesday.

Tremble didn't practice in any capacity prior to being ruled out for Carolina's loss to Atlanta in Week 6, so it's encouraging to see him handling some reps to kick off Week 7 prep. The veteran tight end will need to fully clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol in order to take the field Sunday on the road against Washington. Rookie fourth-round pick Ja'Tavion Sanders caught five of seven targets for 49 yards while serving as Carolina's top tight end in Tremble's absence against Atlanta.

Schoonmaker didn't draw a target while playing 21 of the Cowboys' 69 snaps on offense in Sunday's 47-9 loss to the Lions.

Quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush dropped back 48 times and spread the ball around to seven different pass catchers in the blowout loss, but Schoonmaker didn't get a look even while top tight end Jake Ferguson (46 snaps) saw less playing time than usual. While filing in for an injured Ferguson in a Week 2 loss to the Saints, Schoonmaker recorded six catches for 43 yards, but he's been limited to two receptions for 13 yards on four targets over the subsequent four contests since Ferguson rejoined the lineup.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that Goedert (hamstring) will not participate in practice Wednesday, but tight end hasn't been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Goedert was forced out of Philadelphia's 20-16 win over the Browns in Week 6 due to a hamstring injury after playing just three snaps. Though the Eagles will wait and see how Goedert progresses before deciding on his status for Sunday, he'll almost certainly need to participate in practice in at least a limited capacity Thursday and/or Friday to have any chance at playing against the Giants. Grant Calcaterra -- who caught all four of his targets for 67 yards versus Cleveland -- will likely start Week 7 if Goedert is unable to play.

Knox caught his lone target for 12 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 23-20 win over the Jets.

Knox's trip to the end zone was his first of the 2024 campaign, as the veteran tight end has taken a back seat to teammate Dalton Kincaid in the Bills passing attack. Through six games, the 27-year-old has recorded just four catches on six targets for 42 yards. As long as Kincaid is healthy, Knox cannot be trusted for consistent production in Buffalo. The Bills host the Titans in Week 7.

Gesicki failed to record a single target in Sunday's 17-7 win over the Giants

Gesicki played just 19 of the Bengals' 53 offensive snaps against the Giants, his second-lowest snap total of the season. Meanwhile, Drew Sample (26) and Erick All (23) were on the field more than the 29-year-old Gesicki. Sunday marked the first contest in which Gesicki was held without a catch, coinciding with All's ascension to the top spot on the depth chart as Cincinnati's preferred pass-catching option. Gesicki should be left off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 7 matchup against the Browns.

All caught two of this three targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 17-7 win over the Giants.

All ranked second among Cincinnati tight ends in snaps (23) for Week 6, behind Drew Sample (26) and ahead of both Mike Gesicki (19) and Tanner Hudson (4). With that said, All was the only tight end to be targeted in the passing game. The rookie has stepped into the No. 1 role as the Bengals' top pass-catching option at tight end, but with wideouts Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins seeing most of the targets, All will likely continue to see limited volume.
