Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Won't play against Tennessee
Dissly (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Dissly ended Week 9 prep with back-to-back limited practices while working through an illness. He has not been cleared to play Sunday, so the Chargers will have three tight ends on the active roster in Oronde Gadsden, Tucker Fisk and Tyler Conklin. Dissly's next opportunity to play is Week 10 against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Ben Sims TE | MIN
Vikings' Ben Sims: Healthy scratch Sunday
Sims (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Lions.
The tight end was claimed off waivers by the Vikings on Monday and appeared to have a chance to play, with Josh Oliver dealing with a foot injury. Oliver is also inactive, but the Vikings are riding with T.J. Hockenson, Ben Yurosek and Nick Vannett for Sunday's contest. Vannett was elevated from the practice squad Saturday.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Texans' Dalton Schultz: Active versus Denver
Schultz (knee/shoulder) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
After not practicing either Wednesday or Thursday, Schultz logged a full practice Friday, which set the stage for him to be available versus Denver. Through seven games thus far, the tight end leads the Texans in catches (32) and is second in targets (40) and receiving yards (308), a production level that keeps him on the fantasy lineup radar in Week 9. Meanwhile, the team is getting WRs Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) back Sunday, but Schultz should nonetheless continue to see his share of looks from QB C.J. Stroud in the absence of any in-game setbacks. Harrison Bryant is the only other Houston TE active Sunday, with the team having opted to not elevate either Dalton Keene or Luke Lachey from the practice squad.

Dalton Schultz TE | HOU
Texans' Dalton Schultz: Expected to play Sunday
Schultz (knee), who is questionable to suit up Sunday against Denver, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Schultz logged a DNP/DNP/FP practice progression during the week, which has set him up to likely play against the Broncos. He'll look to rebound after posting season-low totals of two catches and 24 receiving yards against San Francisco in Week 8.

Marcedes Lewis TE | DEN
Broncos' Marcedes Lewis: Elevated for Week 9
Lewis was elevated from the Broncos' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.
The 41-year-old veteran was elevated to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Texans. Injuries to Lucas Krull (foot) and Nate Adkins (knee) will render them unable to compete Sunday, so the Broncos will turn to Lewis to provide offensive and special teams value behind Evan Engram and Adam Trautman.

Eric Saubert TE | SEA
Seahawks' Eric Saubert: Lands on injured reserve
Saubert (calf) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Saubert was unable to practice all week due to his calf injury, and his movement to injured reserve gives Nick Kallerup at least four weeks of opportunity for more offensive snaps at tight end behind AJ Barner and Elijah Arroyo. According to Boyle, a main reason for the move to injured reserve is making space on the active roster for additions such as safety Jerrick Reed II.

Harrison Bryant TE | HOU
Texans' Harrison Bryant: Normal role expected Week 9
Bryant is expected to be the backup tight end in Sunday's game against the Broncos, as starter Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) logged a full practice Friday, Sam Warren of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Even after Schultz sat out practices Wednesday and Thursday, Houston head coach DeMeco Ryans remained confident his starting tight end would get on the field before Sunday's game. Schultz is listed as questionable but is expected to play, which means Bryant should remain the backup.

Hayden Rucci TE | MIA
Hayden Rucci: Back to practice squad
Rucci reverted from the active roster to the practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Rucci was elevated to the practice squad for the second straight game for Thursday's loss to the Ravens. He did not log a snap and will now head back to the practice squad.

Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Set for another absence in Week 9
Morris (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's tilt versus the Raiders.
This will be the second straight absence for Morris, with a Week 8 bye sandwiched in between. He did manage a trio of limited practices this week and will look to return to action next Sunday versus Houston. Morris has played almost exclusively on special teams this season, so his absence probably won't have a major impact on the Jaguars' offensive game plan.
