Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Chargers' Hayden Hurst: Minimal involvement in Week 9
Hurst caught his lone target for six yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Browns.
After missing the past two games with a groin injury, Hurst returned to a limited role as a backup tight end in Los Angeles behind teammate Will Dissly. In six games this season, Hurst has totaled just seven catches for 65 yards. His minimal production should keep him far off the fantasy radar heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Titans.

Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Targeted three times in win
Dissly caught two of his three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-10 win over the Browns.
Dissly led all Chargers tight ends in playing time Sunday, logging 39 of 57 offensive snaps in the contest. Fellow tight ends Eric Tomlinson and Hayden Hurst played 16 and eight snaps, respectively. Dissly's nine yards accounted for his lowest mark of the season, and was especially disappointing after he had produced a 13-122-0 receiving line on 18 targets across the previous two contests. Hurst missed both of those games with a groin injury, and though Hurst isn't expected to handle a major role moving forward, his return to action in Week 9 looks as though it could suppress Dissly's snap and target counts moving forward.

Kylen Granson TE | TEN
Colts' Kylen Granson: Targeted once against Minnesota
Granson caught his lone target for 22 yards in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Vikings.
Granson was on the field for 44 percent of the Colts' offensive snaps, just behind fellow tight end Mo Alie-Cox (48 percent) for the lead in the position group. The 26-year-old Granson now has just four receptions for 75 yards through nine games this season, and his lack of consistent involvement in the passing game should continue to keep him well off the fantasy radar.

Jonnu Smith TE | PIT
Dolphins' Jonnu Smith: Involvement on offense encouraging
Smith secured five of six targets for 46 yards during Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills.
Smith played a season-high 68 percent of offensive snaps in the loss, while also recording his fourth straight game with at least six targets. His recent uptick in involvement in the passing game has been encouraging, though that's come with wideout Jaylen Waddle becoming less of a factor with an average of just 24.5 receiving yards in his last four appearances. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has historically distributed targets primarily to Tyreek Hill and Waddle, and if that trend eventually resurfaces, it could come at Smith's expense. Still, Smith has earned streaming fantasy consideration heading into a Monday night road game against the Rams in Week 10.

Noah Gray TE | KC
Chiefs' Noah Gray: No catches in win
Gray didn't catch his lone target in Monday's 30-24 overtime win versus the Buccaneers.
Gray has performed quite well this season as the No. 2 tight end behind star TE Travis Kelce, as the former has produced 17 receptions for 208 yards through eight games. He needs to find the end zone to have any fantasy appeal.
-
Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Bills' Quintin Morris: Catches TD in Week 9
Morris caught his only target for a two-yard touchdown in Sunday's 30-27 win against Miami.
Morris logged just eight offensive snaps in the victory, but he made an impact with a two-yard touchdown catch midway through the fourth quarter to break a 20-20 tie. That reception was the 25-year-old's first catch and first target of the campaign. With that in mind, Morris is not on the fantasy radar as he sits behind both Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox on Buffalo's tight-end depth chart.
-
Johnny Mundt TE | PHI
Vikings' Johnny Mundt: No catches in Week 9
Mundt failed to catch his only target in Sunday's 21-13 win over the Colts.
Mundt slid to the No. 3 spot at tight end with T.J. Hockenson returning to the field in Week 9 after missing the first seven games of the season while recovering from the ACL injury he suffered in 2023. Mundt was limited to a season-low 19 offensive snaps and he'll continue to operate behind Hockenson and Josh Oliver moving forward.
-
Dawson Knox TE | BUF
Bills' Dawson Knox: Records one reception in Week 9
Knox finished Sunday's 30-27 win over the Dolphins with one catch on two targets for five yards.
Knox had his best game of the season in Week 8 against Seattle with two catches for 50 yards, but he couldn't follow that with meaningful production against Miami. The veteran tight end has recorded one or zero catches in eight of his nine contests on the campaign, making him an afterthought in most fantasy leagues. It would likely take Dalton Kincaid missing time for Knox to reemerge on the fantasy landscape this season.

Drew Sample TE | CIN
Bengals' Drew Sample: Catches touchdown in win
Sample hauled in all four of his targets for 14 yards and a touchdown during the Bengals' 41-24 win over the Raiders.
Sample was one of four different Cincinnati receivers to haul in a touchdown pass from Joe Burrow during Sunday's blowout win. He's now caught eight of his nine targets for 42 yards and a touchdown across nine games this season.
-
Josh Oliver TE | MIN
Vikings' Josh Oliver: Five catches, touchdown in win
Oliver caught all five of his targets for 58 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 21-13 win over the Colts.
Oliver remained the team leader in offensive snaps at tight end in Week 9 as the Vikings eased T.J. Hockenson back into action. Oliver made the most of his opportunities, most notably reeling in a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Once Hockenson is up to speed, Oliver will see a dip in usage as the team's No. 2 option at tight end.
