  • Zach Davidson TE | NYG

    Zach Davidson: Signs with G-Men

The Giants signed Davidson to the practice squad Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Davidson spent the offseason with the Bills but was cut ahead of Week 1. He'll provide depth at tight end behind Theo Johnson, Daniel Bellinger, Chris Manhertz and Thomas Fidone.

  • Anthony Firkser: Signs with Detroit

Firkser signed with the Lions' practice squad Tuesday.

The 30-year-old tight end has 78 career regular-season games under his belt and has posted a 115-1,207-5 receiving line across those contests. He'll provide some organizational depth at the position behind Sam LaPorta, Brock Wright and Ross Dwelley.

  • Payne Durham TE | TB

Buccaneers' Payne Durham: Sees first target since Week 2

Durham failed to catch his only target, his first since Week 2, in Sunday's 28-23 loss to the Patriots.

Durham saw a drop in snaps to 19 (28 percent) after having played on at least 30 percent of plays in each of the previous four contests. The third-year tight end surprisingly has been a complete nonfactor in the air attack through nine contests after posting a 16-173-2 career line on 21 targets over his first pair of seasons, and even the Buccaneers' perpetually injury-hampered receiving corps has done nothing to expand Durham's involvement beyond his role as a blocker.

  • Austin Hooper TE | ATL

Patriots' Austin Hooper: Sitting out Tuesday's practice

Hooper (concussion) isn't in attendance for Tuesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.

Though the Patriots aren't expected to hold a rigorous practice Tuesday, the fact that Hooper hasn't even been seen working out off to the side suggests he's not likely to suit up Thursday against the Jets. Assuming the veteran tight end is ruled out for the Week 11 contest, the Patriots could have fullback Jack Westover serve as the main backup to starting TE Hunter Henry. New England could also elevate one of Thomas Odukoya or CJ Dippre from the practice squad.

  • Isaiah Likely TE | NYG

Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Two grabs against Vikings

Likely caught two of five targets for 17 yards in Sundays' 27-19 win over the Vikings

Likely had a quiet outing against the Vikings despite seeing a season-high five targets. The 25-year-old tight end played 39 of the Ravens' 65 offensive snaps Sunday, behind Mark Andrews (44) and ahead of Charlie Kolar (30). Likely was unable to score his first touchdown of the season, but Andrews was able to find the end zone on a two-yard pass from Lamar Jackson, his third score in the past two games. Likely continues to be extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 11 matchup against the Browns.

  • Nick Muse TE | LAR

Nick Muse: Signs with Los Angeles

Muse signed with the Rams' practice squad Tuesday.

Muse has appeared in 16 career regular-season games, all with the Vikings across the previous three seasons. He'll provide the Rams with some organizational depth at the position.

  • Cade Stover TE | HOU

Texans' Cade Stover: Expected to return to practice soon

Stover (foot) is expected to return to practice soon, possibly as early as this week, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Stover is still on injured reserve after he suffered a broken foot in the Texans' Week 1 loss to the Rams, but his recovery has gone smoothly, and it looks like he's going to have a pretty good chance to play again this season. In his lone appearance this season, Stover made the start and played 57 percent of the offensive snaps, securing four catches for 22 scoreless yards versus the Rams.

  • Dallas Goedert TE | PHI

Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Gains 43 yards Monday

Goedert hauled in four of six targets for 43 yards in Monday's 10-7 victory over the Packers.

Goedert finished Monday's low-scoring affair as the Eagles' second-leading receiver behind WR DeVonta Smith (4-69-1). It also was Goedert's third-best receiving total in what has been a touchdown-dependent campaign. The 30-year-old currently is sitting on seven touchdowns (a career high) to go along with 34 receptions and 332 yards in eight active games this season. Goedert checks in as a startable tight end in fantasy heading into next Sunday's tilt against Detroit.

  • Packers' Luke Musgrave: Three catches as top tight end

Musgrave brought in all three targets for 23 yards in the Packers' 10-7 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.

In the first game since Tucker Kraft (IR, knee) was lost for the season, Musgrave still put together a modest performance. The Packers were also down Matthew Golden (shoulder) and saw Romeo Doubs (chest) exit in the fourth quarter, but Musgrave still finished with fewer yards than in Week 9 against the Panthers (34 yards) on the same number of receptions. The Packers' typically lower-volume passing game and Jordan Love's propensity for spreading the ball around leave Musgrave's fantasy outlook muted even in a favorable Week 11 road matchup against the Giants.

  • Stephen Carlson: Back to practice squad

Carlson reverted to the Bears' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Carlson was elevated to the Bears' active roster Saturday, but he was a healthy scratch for Sunday's game against the Giants after Durham Smythe was cleared to play through a calf injury. It was Carlson's third elevation of the season, which means he would have to be signed to Chicago's active roster in order to continue to play in the Windy City.
