  • Cade Stover TE | HOU

Texans' Cade Stover: Off IR, still questionable

The Texans activated Stover (foot) from injured reserve Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game at Tennessee.

The Texans swapped out Stover for fellow TE Harrison Bryant (neck/shoulder) on IR, meaning the former is set to serve as the No. 2 TE behind Dalton Schultz in his first game action since Week 1, when he broke his foot and required surgery. Through 16 regular-season games as a pro, Stover, a 2024 fourth-round pick, has compiled a 19-155-1 line on 26 targets.

  • Ben Sinnott TE | WAS

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Downgraded to out

The Commanders announced Saturday that Sinnott (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Madrid.

Sinnott will miss his first game of the season due to an ankle injury, after he was added to Thursday's injury report as a limited participant and then missed practice entirely Friday. In his stead, John Bates and Colson Yankoff will handle expanded depth roles behind starting tight end Zach Ertz versus Miami on Sunday.

  • Nate Adkins TE | DEN

Broncos' Nate Adkins: Won't play Week 11

Adkins (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Adkins will miss a third consecutive game due a knee injury that prevented him from participating in all three practices during Week 11 prep. Adam Trautman and Evan Engram will continue to serve as the Broncos' top tight ends on the active roster in Adkins' absence. With the Broncos on a bye for Week 12, Adkins will have more time to recover from his knee injury and try to be available for Week 13 against the Commanders on Sunday, Nov. 30.

  • Cade Stover TE | HOU

Texans' Cade Stover: Questionable for Sunday

Stover (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Stover upgraded to a full practice participant Friday after logging limited sessions both Wednesday and Thursday, meaning he is trending up for Sunday's game. The tight end was designated to return from injured reserve this week, and with fellow tight end Harrison Bryant (neck/shoulder) unable to practice Friday and ruled out this week, Stover's chances of suiting up for Sunday seem solid.

  • Texans' Harrison Bryant: Won't play against Tennessee

Bryant (neck/shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Bryant was unable to practice all week due to neck and shoulder injuries, and the sixth-year pro will not be available for Sunday's AFC South tilt. Dalton Schultz (illness/shoulder) has been cleared to play against Tennessee, and Cade Stover (foot) could be activated from injured reserve to fill in as the TE2 in Bryant's absence. If Stover isn't activated, then the Texans would likely elevate Luke Lachey from the practice squad to be Schultz's backup.

  • Josh Oliver TE | MIN

Vikings' Josh Oliver: Returning from two-game absence

Oliver (foot) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bears, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Oliver logged a full practice Friday, and his lack of an injury tag means he will return Sunday from a two-game absence due to a foot injury. He'll slot back into the TE2 spot behind T.J. Hockenson, which means less snaps on offense will be available for Ben Yurosek and Ben Sims. Oliver has caught five passes (on seven targets) for 61 yards and two touchdowns across seven regular-season games.

  • Dalton Schultz TE | HOU

Texans' Dalton Schultz: Gains clearance after full practice

Schultz (shoulder/illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans after practicing without limitations Friday.

Schultz didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday but will be available Sunday after Friday's full session. He followed the same practice regimen Week 9 and performed well against the Broncos, catching six of eight passes for 77 yards. Schultz has at least five catches in six of his last seven games.

  • Hunter Long TE | JAC

Jaguars' Hunter Long: To miss Sunday's game

Long (hip/knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Chargers.

After missing every practice before sitting out this past Sunday in Houston due to hip and knee injuries, Long returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant and maintained that activity level Friday before the Jaguars made a ruling on his status for Week 11. With Brenton Strange (hip), who was designated for return from injured reserve Wednesday, also not cleared to play Sunday, Johnny Mundt and Quintin Morris are the available options at tight end on Jacksonville's active roster.

  • Brock Wright TE | DET

Lions' Brock Wright: Questionable, likely starting

Wright (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, while fellow Lions tight end Sam LaPorta (back) is ruled out.

Lions coach Dan Campbell told reporters earlier Friday that his trust in Wright would be "sky high" if LaPorta couldn't play, per Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site. LaPorta won't play, but Wright has an injury concern of his own, albeit one that doesn't appear serious. Wright missed practice Wednesday before returning for limited sessions Thursday and Friday. No. 3 TE Ross Dwelley will be the next man up if Wright is on the inactive list ahead of an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday.

  • Sam LaPorta TE | DET

Lions' Sam LaPorta: Won't play at Philadelphia

LaPorta (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game at Philadelphia.

LaPorta handled his normal workload in last week's 44-22 win at Washington, but he didn't practice at all this week. No. 2 tight end Brock Wright (ankle) is listed as questionable, though Lions head coach Dan Campbell said earlier Friday that his trust in Wright is "sky high," per Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site. If not Wright, the Lions will turn to veteran Ross Dwelley, who has 45 career receptions and 17 NFL starts to his name.
