  • Ravens' Chris Collier: Elevated ahead of Sunday's game

The Ravens elevated Collier from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Collier stuck around on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. If he's active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Collier would serve as the No. 3 running back behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Jaguars' Tank Bigsby: Questionable for Monday

Bigsby (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bills, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Bigsby was a limited participant in practice all week, so it stands to reason the second-year back has a good shot at playing Monday. Bigsby suffered the injury during the second quarter of Sunday's loss to the Browns, and while he wasn't ruled out, he wasn't involved in the offense following the injury. That figures to change with a full week of rehab under his belt.

  • Jabari Small RB | DET

Titans' Jabari Small: Elevated from practice squad

The Titans elevated Small from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Small signed with the Titans' practice squad in late August after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Small's elevation provides insurance for Tennessee in case Tyjae Spears (ankle) is unable to play against Green Bay on Sunday.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Bears' Travis Homer: Officially placed on IR

The Bears placed Homer (finger) on injured reserve Saturday, Scott Bair of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Homer popped up on the Bears' injury report Thursday due to a finger injury, which was severe enough to necessitate a surgical procedure. The 2019 sixth-round pick will now be forced to miss at least four games, and the earliest he can return will be against the Commanders in Week 8. 2023 fourth-round pick Roschon Johnson, who was a healthy scratch for Week 1 against the Titans, will now serve as the Bears' No. 3 running back behind D'Andre Swift and Khalil Herbert while Homer is sidelined.

  • J.J. Taylor RB | HOU

Texans' J.J. Taylor: Elevated for Week 3

The Texans elevated Taylor from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

The move comes with Joe Mixon (ankle) and Dameon Pierce (hamstring) both ruled out for Sunday's game against the Vikings. If he's active for Sunday's contest, Taylor will serve as the Texans' No. 4 running back behind Cam Akers, Dare Ogunbowale and British Brooks.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Texans' Joe Mixon: Not playing against Minnesota

Mixon (ankle) has been downgraded to out and will not travel to Sunday's contest against the Vikings.

It's a frustrating outcome given Mixon seemed confident following Sunday's win over the Bears that he would play, but the decision isn't surprising given the star running back was initially ruled doubtful following the team's final injury report Friday. Cam Akers is set to take on the majority of the rushing opportunities due to Dameon Pierce (hamstring) also being out Sunday, and Dare Ogunbowale will likely be a significant factor as a pass catcher out of the backfield as well.

  • Browns' Gary Brightwell: Signed to active roster

The Browns signed Brightwell from their practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.

With Nick Chubb (knee) and Nyheim Hines (knee) starting the regular season on injured reserve and Pierre Strong (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, the Browns have signed Brightwell to the active roster. Brightwell could get some looks on kickoff returns Sunday while serving as the No. 3 running back behind Jerome Ford and D'Onta Foreman. Brightwell appeared in seven regular-season games for the Giants in 2023, during which he turned nine carries into 19 yards and added five catches (on seven targets) for 47 yards.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jeff Wilson: Cleared to face Seattle

Wilson (oblique) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Seahawks and is expected to play.

With Raheem Mostert (chest) listed as doubtful, Wilson again should assume RB2 duties behind workhorse De'Von Achane. In the Week 2 loss to the Bills, Wilson played just 11 snaps to Achane's 47, finishing with two catches for 12 yards and zero rushing attempts. Rookie Jaylen Wright played 18 snaps mostly in garbage time, and he's likely to serve as Miami's RB3 on Sunday.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Doubtful despite practice return

Walker (oblique) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against Miami, but he did manage a limited practice Friday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

The return to practice is a good sign for Week 4, if nothing else, and it confirms that fantasy managers planning to start Zach Charbonnet will need to check Seattle's inactive list ahead of a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. Walker will have an extra day to get ready the following week, as Seattle faces the Lions on Monday, Sept. 30.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Jaguars' Tank Bigsby: Limited again Friday

Bigsby (shoulder) remained a limited participant at practice Friday.

Bigsby has put together back-to-back limited practices to begin the week after injuring his shoulder in the Week 2 loss to the Browns. Though Bigsby wasn't ruled out against Cleveland, that injury was likely the reason he didn't register a touch on offense after leading the Jaguars with 73 rushing yards against the Dolphins in Week 1. More clarity on Bigsby's availability for Monday's game against the Bills will be provided when the Jaguars release their injury report Saturday.
