Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Commanders' Austin Ekeler: Tracking toward playing
Ekeler (concussion) expects to play Week 5 versus the Browns, Grant Paulsen of The Athletic reports.
Ekeler was unavailable for the team's Week 4 win over the Cardinals due to a concussion, and the running back is still working his way through league protocols. Ekeler said Tuesday that he is "feeling more like himself," and his status on the team's injury report throughout the week will be worth monitoring.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
La'Mical Perine: Headed to Pittsburgh
The Steelers signed Perine to the practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Perine inked a one-year deal with the Steelers in May, but he was unable to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He opted to sign with the Packers' practice squad but was let go by Green Bay on Sept. 10. Now in Pittsburgh, Perine adds depth to the Steelers' backfield, and he could be called up for Week 5 against the Cowboys if one or both of Jaylen Warren (knee) or Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) cannot play.

Jacob Kibodi RB | CLE
Jacob Kibodi: Let go by New Orleans
The Saints waived Kibodi off the practice squad Tuesday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
The undrafted free agent out of Louisiana signed with the Saints in April. Kibodi wasn't able to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad. Assuming he clears waivers, Kibodi will look to catch on with another team in need of backfield depth.

Bijan Robinson RB | ATL
Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Limited in practice again
Robinson (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Tuesday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Robinson has now logged back-to-back limited practice sessions due to a hamstring issue. As he's facing a short week of rest prior to Thursday's key divisional matchup against the Buccaneers, the extent of Robinson's participation in Wednesday's practice will be telling. If he enters Thursday's matchup at anything less than 100 percent, Atlanta could opt to lean on Tyler Allgeier more heavily than usual in the running game.

John Kelly RB | CLE
John Kelly: Let go from team
Kelly was cut from the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday.
Kelly was elevated from Baltimore's practice squad to their active roster twice this season, handling kick return duties for the team. However, Deonte Harty has taken over that role since, leaving Kelly without much of a role. The Tennessee product will now have to search out a new opportunity.

Jake Funk RB | JAC
Jake Funk: Finds new opportunity
Funk signed with the Jaguars' practice squad Tuesday.
Funk spent training camp with the Lions but wasn't able to secure a 53-man roster spot. He's been a free agent since, but he'll now have a chance to make an impression in Jacksonville. In a corresponding move, the Jaguars cut fellow running back Jalen Jackson from the practice squad.

Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Rushes nine times in MNF loss
Wright carried the ball nine times for 32 yards and failed to secure his only target during Miami's 31-12 loss to the Titans on Monday night.
Wright handled an increased workload due to Raheem Mostert (chest) remaining sidelined and Jeff Wilson (quadriceps) picking up an injury in pre-game warmups Monday, which limited him to two offensive snaps. Still, neither Wright or De'Von Achane (10 carries for 15 yards) were able to get much going in what was another miserable showing for the Dolphins' offense. Miami will have an opportunity to bounce back against New England on Sunday, but if Mostert and/or Wilson are back in action, Wright will stand to see his workload decline.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Gary Brightwell: Time up in Cleveland
The Browns cut Brightwell from the 53-man roster Tuesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Brightwell spent the last two games contributing exclusively on special teams for Cleveland. He returned two kickoffs for 36 yards during the team's 20-16 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Now, Brightwell will hope to either resurface on the Browns' practice squad or secure a depth role elsewhere in the league.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Chiefs' Samaje Perine: Totals five carries versus Saints
Perine compiled five carries for 14 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 17-10 win versus the Chargers.
An early Carson Steele fumble likely shifted the workloads in the running back room Sunday, resulting in Kareem Hunt leading the way with 14 carries and Perine claiming five. Even if Steele has played his way out of some snaps, Hunt remains ahead of Perine in the pecking order, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) is expected back in Week 5, so there isn't a ton to like about Perine's fantasy prospects moving forward.

Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Sees just seven touches as No. 2
Charbonnet rushed twice for 15 yards while bringing in all five of his targets for 39 yards in Monday's primetime loss to the Lions.
Charbonnet was coming off of his best game as a pro (18-91-2 rushing line) in last week's win over Miami, but the triumphant return of starter Kenneth Walker (12-80-3) pushed the second-year back to his usual change-of-pace role. Charbonnet still produced strong results on a per-touch basis, but the lack of looks limits the backup's value heading into Sunday's tilt against the Giants.
