Jeremy McNichols RB | WAS
Commanders' Jeremy McNichols: Handles seven carries
McNichols rushed seven times for 42 yards in Sunday's 40-7 win over the Panthers.
On a day when the Commanders dominated the Panthers, McNichols saw some added carries as Washington's No. 3 running back. The 28-year-old played just 17 of the Commanders' 69 offensive snaps in the contest behind Austin Ekeler (28) and Brian Robinson (26). Heading into a Week 8 matchup with Chicago, McNichols doesn't hold much value for fantasy with both Robinson and Ekeler healthy.

Ty Johnson RB | BUF
Bills' Ty Johnson: Hits pay dirt against Titans
Johnson secured his lone target for a four-yard touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans.
Johnson failed to record a single rushing attempt in the contest as he operated as the No. 3 running back behind teammates James Cook and Ray Davis. The 27-year-old's minimal usage coincided with Cook's return from a toe injury that sidelined him in Week 6. Assuming the Buffalo backfield is completely healthy, Johnson does not see enough touches to be in consideration for fantasy purposes. The Bills are set to visit the Seahawks in Week 8.

Ray Davis RB | BUF
Bills' Ray Davis: Finds end zone in win
Davis rushed five times for 41 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for six yards in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans.
Davis' touchdown came with just under two minutes left in the contest, when the game was already out of hand. The rookie running back has now hit paydirt twice this season while rushing for 213 yards on 51 carries (4.2 YPC). Teammate James Cook made his return Week 7 after missing the previous game with a toe injury, and in doing so, reclaimed his role as the Bills' top option out of the backfield. Though Davis could see his role increase in Buffalo's offense as the season goes on, he holds the most value as an insurance policy if Cook is forced to miss time again.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Extending stay in Big Easy
Kamara and the Saints agreed on two-year, $24.5 million extension Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Days after Kamara took to X and shut down rumors he requested a trade, he doubled down on those sentiments via an extension. The dynamic back is now under contract with the Saints through 2026. The 2017 third-round pick recorded a career-low 694 rushing yards in 2023, but he has bounced back nicely through seven games this year. Kamara has already tallied 438 yards and six touchdowns on the ground as well as 34 receptions on 43 targets for 252 yards and one touchdown.

Jase McClellan RB | TB
Falcons' Jase McClellan: Makes debut in blowout loss
McClellan rushed five times for 17 yards during Sunday's 34-14 loss to the Seahawks.
McClellan made his NFL regular-season debut during garbage time of Sunday's blowout loss but failed to leave a lasting impression. Notably, the rookie played over Avery Williams, who's yet to log an offensive snap this season, but McClellan remains firmly behind Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier on the depth chart.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Reverts to minor role in Week 7
Allgeier rushed five times for 36 yards and caught his lone target for nine yards during Sunday's 34-14 loss to the Seahawks.
After a season-best performance (18 rushes for 105 yards and a TD) last week against Carolina, Allgeier reverted to his usual reserve role. He played only 16 offensive snaps in the blowout loss, his fewest since Week 3, and Allgeier's six touches was his lowest mark since Week 1. Allgeier's performance against the Panthers looks like an outlier, but the backup running back still has fantasy value as an insurance policy for Bijan Robinson.

Andrew Beck TE | NYJ
Andrew Beck: Let go by Green Bay
The Packers cut Beck from the practice squad Tuesday.
Beck reached the three-game maximum of gameday elevations from the practice squad during Week 7 against the Texans, during which he played 12 snaps (five on offense, seven on special teams). He would have to be signed to the active roster in order to keep playing with the Packers this season, but Green Bay has opted to not make room for the 28-year-old fullback. Beck will have a chance to sign with a team in need of his services.
-
Jawhar Jordan RB | HOU
Jawhar Jordan: Brought back by Houston
The Texans signed Jordan (oblique) to the practice squad Tuesday.
Jordan was moved to the Texans' injured reserve after being waived with an injury designation at the end of training camp. He was set to miss the entire regular season, but the two sides were able to reach an injury settlement in early September. Jordan appears to be fully healthy from his oblique injury, and the rookie sixth-round pick will be available for a game-day elevation if the Texans need additional depth at running back.

Carson Steele RB | PHI
Chiefs' Carson Steele: Totals six totes versus Niners
Steele totaled six carries for 17 yards during Sunday's 28-18 win versus San Francisco.
Steele finished the day second on the Chiefs in carries behind Kareem Hunt, but that amounted to just six compared to Hunt's 22; Steele also played fewer offensive snaps (15) than Samaje Perine (16). Hunt has clearly settled back into a workhorse role for KC, leaving Steele and Perine to duke it out for the leftover touches. Clyde Edwards-Helaire was also activated from injured reserve last week before being deemed a healthy inactive Sunday, but CEH could be part of the mix in future weeks as well.
-
Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Chiefs' Samaje Perine: Three touches in Week 7 win
Perine notched two rushes for six yards and hauled in his only target for 22 yards during Sunday's 28-18 victory versus the 49ers.
Despite Clyde Edwards-Helaire's activation from injured reserve, Perine and Carson Steele remained on the active roster Sunday behind Kareem Hunt. Perine finished the day a distant second to Hunt's 45 snaps with 15 and outpaced Steele by just one. While his continued inclusion in the game plan is encouraging, he's unlikely to see enough action weekly to warrant a roster spot in most fantasy leagues.
