Montgomery sustained a shoulder injury during Sunday's game at Indianapolis.

In the waning moments of the third quarter, Montgomery was seen walking to the locker room without a helmet or jersey, after which he was deemed questionable to return, per Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News. Prior to his exit, Montgomery had eight carries for 37 yards and one touchdown and three catches (on three targets) for 36 yards. Jahmyr Gibbs should handle most of the backfield reps for the Lions for as long as Montgomery is sidelined.

Robinson exited Sunday's game against the Cowboys a second time due to an ankle injury.

Robinson went to the locker room after his first carry of the game due to an ankle issue but was able to get back on the field. Shortly after halftime, though, the Commanders again deemed him questionable to return. If he's unable to do so, Robinson will finish Week 12 with five carries for 13 yards and one catch (on two targets) for 11 yards. Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols will man Washington's backfield for as long as Robinson is sidelined.

With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) inactive, Abdullah is in line for an expanded workload Sunday against the Broncos.

In the absence of both Mattison and White, Abdullah is in line to start Sunday, per Tashan Reed of The Athletic, with Dylan Laube and practice-squad elevation Sincere McCormick also available to mix in. While Abdullah is a speculative lineup option versus Denver, he could provide short-term fantasy utility for those who would normally rely on either Mattison or White or are otherwise in need of backfield help with six teams on bye in Week 12.

White (quadricep) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos.

With both White and Alexander Mattison (ankle) unavailable, Ameer Abdullah is next up at running back for the Raiders on Sunday, while Dylan Laube and practice-squad elevation Sincere McCormick are also on hand to mix in. The next chance for White and/or Mattison to return to the lineup occurs this coming Friday, when the Raiders travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in a 3:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Robinson endured an awkward tackle while fighting for yardage in the first quarter and stayed on the turf for a spell before making his way to the sideline and eventually the locker room. At the time of his exit, he had one carry for minus-2 yards. Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols are the other running backs on the Commanders' game-day roster Sunday.

Brooks (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Brooks had been listed as questionable heading into the weekend, but his availability for Sunday was never in any peril after head coach Dave Canales said Friday that he running back was ready to make his NFL debut. A 2024 second-round pick out of Texas, Brooks missed the Panthers' first 10 games of the season while completing his recovery from a torn ACL suffered last November. He had been activated from the non-football injury list Nov. 6 and has been a full participant in practices for weeks, so Brooks should be capable of handling the top backup role behind starting running back Chuba Hubbard. Before landing on injured reserve this week, Miles Sanders (ankle) had been serving as Carolina's No. 2 option in the backfield and averaged 5.9 touches per contest, but given the draft capital invested in him, Brooks could match or surpass that level of usage, especially if the Panthers want to lighten Hubbard's workload a bit.

Vaughn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Vaughn will be a healthy scratch for the second time in the past three weeks, leaving Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott to handle the work in Dallas' backfield along with fullback Hunter Luepke. Vaughn has been inefficient as a ball carrier in his limited opportunities this season, gaining just 33 yards on 11 carries while adding 18 yards on three receptions.

Edwards-Helaire is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

With Edwards-Helaire inactive and Isiah Pacheco (ankle) still on IR, Kareem Hunt, Samaje Perine and Carson Steele will handle the Chiefs' Week 12 backfield duties.
