  • Carson Steele RB | PHI

Chiefs' Carson Steele: Notches pair of touches versus Cats

Steele accrued one carry for four yards and reeled in one of two targets for nine yards during Sunday's 30-27 win versus the Panthers.

Steele totaled just 11 snaps in Sunday's contest, though that marks a very minor uptick from the eight he saw a week ago. He has two touches to his name in each of the last two weeks, and his work figures to trail off even more with Isiah Pacheco's (ankle) return from injured reserve looming. Steele can safely be left on the waiver wire in the majority of fantasy formats.

  • Samaje Perine RB | CIN

Chiefs' Samaje Perine: Tallies three touches in Week 12

Perine totaled one carry for 13 yards and hauled in both of his targets for 11 yards during Sunday's 30-27 victory against the Panthers.

Perine continues to serve a purpose as a receiver out of the backfield for the Chiefs, and he logged a carry Sunday for the first time since Week 13. However, his work amounted to just three total touches for 24 yards, aside from the 104 yards he racked up as a kick returner. He could continue to serve a role in the return game moving forward, especially with Isiah Pacheco's (ankle) impending return presumably siphoning away more of Perine's backfield reps.

  • Packers' Chris Brooks: Finishes with five touches

Brooks had four carries for 11 yards and one reception for 15 yards in Sunday's 38-10 victory over the 49ers.

Brooks finished second among Packers running backs in snaps for the fourth time in as many chances, but he was the third Green Bay running back to get a touch in Week 12, and he finished with five touches compared to Emanuel Wilson's nine. Both running backs figure to continue working in behind starter Josh Jacobs, who is handling the lion's share of the work in Green Bay's backfield.

  • Sean Tucker RB | TB

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Scores short TD in win

Tucker rushed four times for three yards and a touchdown and secured his only target for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 30-7 win over the Giants on Sunday. He also committed a fumble recovered by Tampa Bay and returned one kickoff for six yards.

Tucker was able to get into the end zone for the first time since Week 6 on a one-yard run in the first quarter, parlaying a sparse five-snap allotment into a serviceable fantasy outing. However, Tucker remains a distant third in the backfield pecking order behind Bucky Irving and Rachaad White, and that arrangement should persist in a Week 13 road matchup against the Panthers.

  • Justice Hill RB | BAL

Ravens' Justice Hill: Long TD run in win

Hill rushed four times for 55 yards and a touchdown and secured both targets for seven yards in the Ravens' 30-23 win over the Chargers on Monday night.

Hill's backfield mate Derrick Henry stole the show with 140 rushing yards, but Hill was the only one of the two to record a touchdown when he rattled off a 51-yard scoring scamper just past the midway point of the fourth quarter that extended a 23-16 Ravens lead. Hill's trip to the end zone was his first on the ground since Week 5 of last season, although he does have two receiving scores this season. Despite Monday night's big run, Hill remains a very speculative fantasy option except for deep PPR leagues heading into a Week 13 home clash with the Eagles.

  • Gus Edwards RB | LAC

Chargers' Gus Edwards: Short TD in place of starter

Edwards rushed nine times for 11 yards and a touchdown while not hauling in his only target in Monday's 30-23 loss to the Ravens.

Starter J.K. Dobbins went down with a knee injury in the first half of Monday's narrow defeat, affording Edwards extra play in the second half. The 29-year-old Edwards didn't post big numbers outside of a short touchdown run, but he could be worth considering if Dobbins is forced to miss time. If that becomes the case, Edwards would make a great add in leagues where he is available ahead of next Sunday's tilt against Atlanta.

  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Ravens' Derrick Henry: Prolific rushing total in win

Henry rushed 24 times for 140 yards in the Ravens' 30-23 win over the Chargers on Monday night.

Facing a defense that had ranked in the top half of the league in multiple metrics against the run, Henry ran roughshod throughout the night on his way to a robust 5.8 yards per carry. The bruising back crossed the century mark on the ground for the first time since Week 9 and for the sixth time overall in his Ravens debut campaign. Henry did go without a target for the second straight game after recording a catch in four consecutive contests from Weeks 7-10, but he's riding high going into a showdown Sunday afternoon against Saquon Barkley and his Eagles teammates that could serve as a Super Bowl preview.

  • Cardinals' Emari Demercado: Just one touch in Week 12

Demercado tallied a 14-yard carry during Sunday's 16-6 defeat at Seattle.

Demercado has four outings on the season with one or zero touches, Week 12 included, despite seeing regular usage on offense. As for the rest of the Cardinals backfield, James Conner led the way Sunday with 12 touches for 49 yards from scrimmage on 40 snaps, and Trey Benson matched Demercado's nine plays but had four rushes for a team-leading 18 yards. Demercado likely will retain a small role moving forward unless Conner or Benson require an absence of some sort.

  • Trey Benson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Trey Benson: Not much going on ground Sunday

Benson turned four carries into 18 yards during Sunday's 16-6 loss in Seattle.

Benson ranked second among Cardinals in rush attempts but paced the team in yards on the ground, while James Conner had seven carries for eight yards, and Emari Demercado reeled off a single 14-yard run. Benson and Demercado earned nine offensive snaps apiece, usage that was well behind Conner's 40 (out of 58). Considering Conner continues to handle the bulk of the work afforded Arizona's backfield, Benson may need a better game script to replicate his success from before the team's Week 11 bye, when he racked up 21 touches for 142 yards from scrimmage and one TD between Weeks 9 and 10.

  • J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN

Chargers' J.K. Dobbins: Won't return Monday

Dobbins (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's Week 12 contest against the Ravens.

Dobbins was injured in the first half and wasn't able to reenter the game. He finished Monday's matchup with six carries for 40 yards and three catches (on five targets) for 19 yards. Gus Edwards has taken over lead back duties for Los Angeles in Dobbins' absence.
