Trey Benson RB | ARI
Cardinals' Trey Benson: Misses practice Wednesday
Benson (ankle) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Benson was removed from the second half of this past Sunday's win against the Patriots due to an ankle injury, which so far is keeping him off the practice field to begin Week 16 prep. With Emari Demercado (back) on injured reserve, DeeJay Dallas is the only other running back on the Cardinals' active roster aside from starter James Conner. Meanwhile, Michael Carter and Tony Jones loom as backfield options on the practice squad.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Full go for Wednesday
Blackshear (chest) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Blackshear missed Carolina's Week 15 loss to the Cowboys after sustaining a chest injury the game prior, however, Wednesday's full practice session suggests he's already moved past the issue. The Virginia Tech product will likely have a larger offensive role for the remainder of the season, serving as the Panthers' No. 2 running back with Jonathon Brooks (knee) and Miles Sanders (ankle) both on injured reserve.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Texans' Joe Mixon: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Mixon was a limited participant at practice Wednesday due to ankle injury.
Mixon, who was also deemed limited Tuesday, suffered a minor ankle injury in this past Sunday's win over the Dolphins, but the running back said Wednesday that he anticipates playing Saturday against the Chiefs, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston. Thursday's injury report will clarify whether or not Mixon heads into the weekend with an injury designation, but at this stage, he looks like he'll be ready to handle his usual role Saturday as Houston's lead back.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Scooped up by Saints
Edwards-Helaire agreed to a contract with the Saints on Wednesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
The report doesn't specify whether Edwards-Helaire will be joining the Saints' active roster or signing with the team's practice squad. Either way, the former Chiefs running back could contribute for the stretch run on a Saints team that could be without lead back Alvin Kamara (groin) for Monday's game against the Packers. Edwards-Helaire didn't appear in a game for the Chiefs during the 2024 season prior to being waived Monday.

Jaleel McLaughlin RB | DEN
Broncos' Jaleel McLaughlin: Won't play Thursday
McLaughlin (quadricep) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Chargers, Susanna Weir of the Broncos' official site reports.
McLaughlin made an early exit from Sunday's win over the Colts and never returned to the game, finishing with 10 touches for 34 yards. The Broncos then listed him as a non-participant Monday and Wednesday, sandwiched around a limited listing Tuesday. McLaughlin has played less than 40 percent of the snaps on offense in every game this season, but he's taken on a larger share of the backfield carries and touches in recent weeks, which mean his absence warrants significant upgrades to the Week 16 projections for fellow Broncos running backs Javonte Williams and Audric Estime.
-
Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Titans' Tony Pollard: Held out of practice
Pollard (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Pollard has played through foot and/or ankle injuries for the better part of two months, including last week when he was listed as questionable and then briefly left a 37-27 loss to the Bengals in the first half after aggravating his ankle. He returned to the game and took 10 more carries for 18 yards to finish with a 17-45-1 rushing line, but Tyjae Spears then dominated the playing time and touches in the fourth quarter with Tennessee trailing by multiple scores. Pollard is at some risk of either missing Sunday's game against the Colts or handling a lesser role than what he's been tasked with for most of the season.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB | NYG
Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Dealing with ankle issue
Tracy was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Tracy dealt with a right low-ankle sprain in August, but the health concern didn't affect his status for Week 1 and beyond. Since he regularly started earning a 60 percent snap share beginning Week 5 at Seattle, he's averaged 16.6 touches for 84.5 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring five rushing touchdowns over the last 10 contests. Tracy's status will be watched as the week continues to get a sense of his availability for Sunday's road matchup with the Falcons.

Chris Collier RB | LV
Raiders' Chris Collier: Gets promotion to active roster
Las Vegas signed Collier from its practice squad to the active roster on Wednesday.
Collier was added to the Raiders' practice squad back in November, and with Sincere McCormick (ankle) bound for injured reserve, the team saw fit to promote Collier ahead of Week 16. His quickest path to playing time could be on special teams, where he made the majority of his contributions with Baltimore earlier in the season.

Isaac Guerendo RB | SF
49ers' Isaac Guerendo: Sidelined with hamstring injury
Guerendo will not practice Wednesday due to foot and hamstring injuries, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Guerendo played through a foot sprain in last Thursday's 12-6 loss to the Rams, and though he didn't experience any reported in-game setbacks with that injury, he's emerged from the contest with a new health concern. With Christian McCaffrey (knee) and Jordan Mason (ankle) both on injured reserve, the 49ers could realistically be taking a cautious approach to Guerendo's health, but his activity will now need to be monitored during practices Thursday and Friday. Patrick Taylor, Israel Abanikanda and practice-squad member Ke'Shawn Vaughn, are San Francisco's available backfield options behind Guerendo heading into a road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Sincere McCormick RB | SF
Raiders' Sincere McCormick: Goes on IR
The Raiders placed McCormick (ankle) on injured reserve Wednesday.
The ankle injury that McCormick sustained in Monday's 15-9 loss to the Falcons will keep the running back sidelined for the final three games of the season. With Zamir White (quadriceps) also on IR, Alexander Mattison and Ameer Abdullahare poised to lead the team's backfield down the stretch, with Dylan Laube and Chris Collier in reserve. McCormick -- who is under contract with Las Vegas through 2025 -- finishes his 2024 campaign with 39 carries for 183 yards and six catches on seven targets for 29 yards in five contests.
