Benny Cunningham RB | JAC
Rams' Benny Cunningham: Likely to be limited this week
According to head coach Jeff Fisher, Cunningham "probably won't do much this week" due to an undisclosed injury, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
Cunningham lost a yard on his only carry in Week 13, proving that he is not much of a factor in the Rams offense. Stay updated on his progress, but whether he misses this week's game against the Falcons or not, it should not affect Los Angeles' already ineffective run game significantly.

Ka'Deem Carey RB | CHI
Bears' Ka'Deem Carey: Nearly invisible in Week 13
Carey had two carries for eight yards Sunday against the 49ers.
Carey's role was to provide Jordan Howard a breather, and as a result, he only received two of Chicago's 36 rushing attempts while also being targeted once in a winning effort. He's only had nine touches over his last five games, and he won't be a fantasy option unless Jordan Howard misses time.

Benny Cunningham RB | JAC
Rams' Benny Cunningham: Receives single carry against Pats
Cunningham had one carry for negative-one yard during Sunday's loss to New England.
Cunningham did return four kickoffs for 92 yards, but in the majority of fantasy leagues, those gains don't move the needle. At this point, Cunningham likely isn't worth a roster spot in most formats. Even if he ascended to the top of the depth chart, there likely isn't much upside, considering the inept Los Angeles offensive attack.

Charles Sims RB | TB
Buccaneers' Charles Sims: Expected to be activated for Sunday's game
Head coach Dirk Koetter said Monday that Sims (knee) is expected to be activated from IR in advance of Sunday's game against the Saints, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Perhaps Koetter knows a bit more about the health of Doug Martin, who missed the Bucs' final three possessions in Week 13 after he was "bent back" on a third-quarter run. On the other hand, Sims is approaching the end of the second week of his 21-day window for the team to evaluate and ultimately activate him to the 53-man roster. Even if he is available this weekend, he could take a back seat to Martin and Jacquizz Rodgers, dampening his utility off the bat.

DuJuan Harris RB | JAC
49ers' DuJuan Harris: Receives two carries in loss Sunday
Harris rushed two times for eight yards in Sunday's loss to the Bears.
Harris has now received two carries in each of his last two games, further proving that the speedy back has become an afterthought in Chip Kelly's offense. After his brief stint of action in place of the injured Carlos Hyde in Weeks 10 and 11, there was a possibility that he could remain in the mix for touches once the Hyde returned to action, but that has not been the case. Shaun Draughn out-touched Harris 5-2 and also received two targets in the passing game to the latter's none Sunday. He would need an injury to either Hyde or Draughn to put himself back on the fantasy radar.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Dolphins' Kenyan Drake: Two touches
Drake gained one yard on his lone carry and caught one pass for four yards Sunday against the Ravens.
Drake and Damien Williams have seen their usage scaled back as Jay Ajayi has clearly emerged as the Dolphins' best runner over the course of this season. Despite overcoming a knee injury to play, Drake's one carry Sunday marked the fourth straight appearance in which he's only been handed the ball once.
-
Damien Williams RB | ARI
Dolphins' Damien Williams: Three touches Sunday
Williams gained one yard on his lone rush and caught both his targets for eight receiving yards Sunday against the Ravens.
Williams continues to be sparingly used behind starter Jay Ajayi, so his lack of production Sunday was nothing new, and is actually what fantasy owners should've come to expect from him by this point in the campaign.

Shane Vereen RB | NO
Giants' Shane Vereen: Return date still uncertain
Giants coach Ben McAdoo wouldn't confirm whether or not Vereen (triceps) will be activated to New York's 53-man roster this week, ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports.
Vereen was deemed the Giants' designated player to return from injured reserve last Wednesday, which put a 21-day timetable for him to be activated in effect. Although Vereen has been participating in practices since then, it's still unclear when he can be expected to return to game action. Whenever he's made available for the first time since Week 3, Vereen is anticipated to add versatility to New York's backfield options.
-
Doug Martin RB | LV
Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Limited to 55 percent of offensive snaps Sunday
Martin (undisclosed) logged just 36 of 65 offensive snaps during Sunday's win at San Diego, likely due to getting "bent back" on a third-quarter carry, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Martin was on pace for a fruitful outing prior to his departure, boasting 68 yards from scrimmage and a two-yard touchdown plunge on 18 touches. He yielded backfield duties to Jacquizz Rodgers the rest of the way, and while head coach Dirk Koetter said afterward that Martin was "doing fine," the backfield equation again seems to be in flux in Tampa Bay, especially with Charles Sims (knee) available for activation from IR. The upcoming week of practice will aid in determining who among Martin, Rodgers, and Sims gets the call, but the former is the presumptive favorite, assuming he's healthy.

Christine Michael RB | IND
Packers' Christine Michael: Workload increases
Michael had nine carries for 19 yards in Sunday's victory over the Texans.
Head coach Mike McCarthy said last week he wanted to get Michael more involved in the offense, and he did just that, calling Michael's number nine times on the 11 snaps, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, he played Sunday. Michael did not make the most of his increased touches, averaging just 2.1 yards per carry, but he did outpace fellow running back James Starks in all of snaps, carries, and yards Sunday, which seemingly moves him ahead of Starks on the depth chart. If that is indeed the case, expect Michael and Ty Montgomery to share the bulk of the running back duties next week against the Seahawks, and likely beyond.
