  • Tyler Goodson RB | ATL

Colts' Tyler Goodson: Remains idle Thursday

Goodson (groin) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Goodson suffered the injury last Sunday against the Rams. If he's unable to go against the Raiders in Week 5, Jonathan Taylor and DJ Giddens will handle backfield duties for the Colts.

  • Blake Watson RB | TEN

Blake Watson: Placed on practice-squad IR

The Titans placed Watson (undisclosed) on the practice-squad injured list Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Watson will be required to miss at least the next four games. He appeared in two regular-season contests for the Broncos last season, rushing four times for 10 yards while catching one pass for 13 yards.

  • Sione Vaki RB | DET

Lions' Sione Vaki: DNP on Thursday

Vaki (groin) did not practice Thursday, Nolan Bianchi of The Detroit News reports.

Vaki has appeared in just one game this season, logging seven special-teams snaps. He doesn't have an offensive role behind Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Remains absent from practice

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said that Tracy (shoulder) won't practice Thursday, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.

Tracy has yet to resume practicing since dislocated his right shoulder in the Giants' 22-9 loss to the Chiefs on Sept. 21. With reports suggesting that Tracy will need 2-to-4 weeks to make a full recovery from the injury, he's on track to miss a second straight game Sunday in New Orleans, though the running back could have a shot at playing in the Giants' Week 6 matchup with the Eagles next Thursday. Tracy's upcoming absence this weekend should once again clear the way for rookie Cam Skattebo to take on a leading role out of the backfield.

  • Braelon Allen RB | NYJ

Jets' Braelon Allen: Lands on IR

The Jets officially placed Allen (knee) on IR on Thursday.

The expected move freed up a roster spot for the team's addition of fellow running back Khalil Herbert. Allen thus is slated to miss a minimum of four games, though it's possible that his stint on IR could continue beyond that, with Rich Cimini of ESPN.com noting that the RB's injury is still being evaluated, and surgery is considered a possibility. In Allen's absence, Isaiah Davis, Herbert and Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) -- when healthy -- will provide depth behind top back Breece Hall.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Jets' Khalil Herbert: Signed by Jets

The Jets signed Herbert on Thursday.

In a corresponding move, the team placed fellow running back Braelon Allen (knee) on injured reserve. With the Jets, Herbert will provide depth to a backfield that's led by Breece Hall and also includes Isaiah Davis and Kene Nwangwu (hamstring). While Herbert doesn't have an immediate path to fantasy lineup utility, that's a context that could change if Hall were to miss time at any point down the road.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Spectator at practice again

Irving (foot/shoulder) isn't taking part in Thursday's practice, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Though Irving is being listed with a pair of health concerns on the Buccaneers' Week 5 injury report, the shoulder issue is considered less worrisome than his sprained left foot, which confined him to a walking boot during Wednesday's walk-through session. The Buccaneers haven't yet officially ruled Irving out for Sunday's game at Seattle, but his consecutive absences to begin Week 5 prep don't bode well for his chances of playing. If Irving ends up sitting out this weekend, Rachaad White would be in line to see more involvement in the rushing attack, as would third-year back Sean Tucker.

  • Braelon Allen RB | NYJ

Jets' Braelon Allen: Bound for IR

The Jets intend to place Allen (knee) on injured reserve Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Allen is recovering from an MCL sprain sustained in Monday's 27-21 loss to the Dolphins, and while a formal timeline for his return won't be established until a decision is made whether he'll require surgery, the 21-year-old will be sidelined for at least the Jets' next four games. New York could add another running back to its roster in a corresponding move when Allen is officially placed on IR, but as it stands, Isaiah Davis and Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) are the backfield options behind starter Breece Hall.

  • Browns' Quinshon Judkins: May see larger role Week 5

The Browns are expected to lean more on Judkins in Week 5 against the Vikings, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Cleveland's game against Minnesota on Sunday kicks off at 9:30 a.m. ET in London.

The Browns are switching quarterbacks this week with rookie Dillon Gabriel replacing Joe Flacco. The state of Cleveland's offense dictated the QB change, but the problems in the passing game still exist, which indicates a more conservative, run-focused game plan. Starting an untested rookie could result in a greater reliance on Judkins, whose snap count and workload increased each week since his debut in the second game of the season. He had a season-high 21 carries last week against the Lions and could see that number increase.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Tending to pair of injuries

Irving officially missed Wednesday's walkthrough due to foot and shoulder injuries, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

After turning 20 touches into 165 yards from scrimmage and a receiving touchdown during Sunday's 31-25 loss to the Eagles, Irving was revealed to be one of numerous Buccaneers dealing with health concerns by coach Todd Bowles on Monday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported earlier Wednesday that Irving had a sprained foot that isn't considered to be a long-term concern, and he also was spotted with his left foot in a walking boot and on crutches at Wednesday's session, per Greg Auman of Fox Sports. Bowles then told Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site that Irving needs to shed the boot by Friday in order to have a chance to play Sunday at Seattle. If Irving is inhibited or sidelined this weekend, Rachaad White and Sean Tucker would be available to man Tampa Bay's backfield.
