Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
49ers' Jerick McKinnon: Practices in full Wednesday
McKinnon (ribs) practiced in full Wednesday, Keiana Martin of the 49ers' official site reports.
McKinnon emerged from the 49ers' Week 3 victory versus the Giants with a rib contusion, but not before turning 17 touches into 77 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown. With an uncapped practice under his belt, McKinnon is ready to split the backfield reps with Jeff Wilson (15 touches, 69 total yards, two scores Week 3) this Sunday against the Eagles. Considering Raheem Mostert (knee) likely will sit out this weekend, JaMycal Hasty may be the only other contender for touches out of the San Francisco's backfield.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Limited Wednesday
Sanders was limited at Wednesday's practice with a glute injury.
After sitting out the Eagles' season opener due to a hamstring issue, Sanders has been a workhorse for the team, totaling 45 touches for 238 yards from scrimmage and one score over the last two games. Meanwhile, the reserve running back duo of Boston Scott and Corey Clement has combined for 13 touches during that stretch. With another injury in tow, Sanders nonetheless was able to get in some work Wednesday. He'll look to increase his activity level as the week continues.

Cam Akers RB | SEA
Rams' Cam Akers: Won't practice, deemed day-to-day
Coach Sean McVay said that Akers (ribs) won't practice Wednesday and is considered day-to-day, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Akers has yet to resume practicing since suffering separated rib cartilage Week 2, which paved the way for Darrell Henderson to lead Los Angeles' backfield against the Bills this past weekend and break out with 20 carries for 114 rushing yards, plus a score. McVay's day-to-day label for Akers hints at optimism that the rookie second-round pick could return soon, perhaps even as early as Sunday's game against the Giants. Even if Akers gains clearance for the weekend, he still may have to settle for complementary work behind Henderson and Malcolm Brown.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
49ers' Raheem Mostert: Not ready to practice yet
Mostert (knee) won't participate in Wednesday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
After failing to practice at any point last week while managing the sprained MCL, Mostert wasn't able to take a notable step forward in the 49ers' first session of Week 4. If Mostert isn't able to play Sunday against the Eagles, the 49ers will once again have to deploy a backfield committee consisting of Jerick McKinnon, Jeff Wilson and JaMycal Hasty.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Colts' Nyheim Hines: Limited with shoulder issue
Hines was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury.
Hines likely picked up the injury in Sunday's win over the Jets, but the fact that he was able to at least partially participate in practice is encouraging for his chances of playing Week 4 in Chicago. He'll have two more chances to ramp up his on-field activity before the Colts are decide whether he'll carry an injury designation into the weekend.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bills' Zack Moss: Limited on practice report
Moss (toe) was listed as limited on Wednesday's official injury report.
Reports earlier in the day from the media-access portion of Wednesday's practice suggested the rookie was decently involved in the session, so he seemingly has a good chance to return from a one-game absence to play Sunday in Las Vegas. The rookie running back will still likely need to increase his activity Thursday and/or Friday to avoid an injury designation heading into the weekend.

LeVante Bellamy RB | DEN
Broncos' LeVante Bellamy: Rejoins main roster
Bellamy was promoted from Denver's practice squad Wednesday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Bellamy's addition suggests the Broncos might once again be without Phillip Lindsay (toe) against the Jets on Thursday, leaving only Melvin Gordon and Royce Freeman in front of Bellamy at running back. The 23-year-old Western Michigan product suited up for Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay, but he only appeared in a special teams role.
-
Zack Moss RB | CIN
Bills' Zack Moss: Back at practice
Moss (toe) is expected to be a full practice participant Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Starting the week without any apparent restrictions currently puts Moss on track to play Sunday in Las Vegas, but the Bills' injury reports will still be worth tracking Wednesday through Friday just to ensure that he'll be ready to return from a one-game absence. The promising rookie caught a touchdown pass in his debut game, but he has otherwise been bottled up as a rusher with 17 carries for 48 yards.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Returns to practice
Harris (finger) took part in practice Wednesday, indicating the Patriots have designated him to return from injured reserve, Andrew Callahan of The Springfield Republican reports.
With James White (personal) also rejoining the team, New England suddenly has quite the crowd in a backfield that received excellent Week 3 results from the trio of Rex Burkhead, Sony Michel and J.J. Taylor. It's not quite clear how Harris will fit in if he's ready to return for Sunday's game in Kansas City, but he generated some buzz back in training camp as a threat to challenge Michel for the lead ballcarrier role. Of course, Michel is averaging only 8.7 carries per game, in part because quarterback Cam Newton has emerged as the primary rushing threat, and in part due to Burkhead and Taylor being involved. Trying to decipher this backfield before Sunday feels like a fool's errand, but it is possible New England beat writers get some hints from the practice field.

Chase Edmonds RB | WAS
Cardinals' Chase Edmonds: Has 34 yards from scrimmage Week 3
Edmonds compiled three carries for 13 yards and caught both of his targets for 21 yards during Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Lions.
Edmonds' touch count has decreased in each game this season, as he earned nine Week 1 and six Week 2 before five this past Sunday. He hasn't exactly been productive either, turning 20 touches into 92 yards from scrimmage and one TD. With his share of the offensive snaps hovering in the low-to-mid 30s, Edmonds' workload isn't enough to make him a consistent producer behind Kenyan Drake, who himself has yet to surpass 100 yards from scrimmage in a given game and has scored just one touchdown.
