Tommy Bohanon FB | BAL
Tommy Bohanon: Secures practice-squad deal
The Ravens signed Bohanon to the practice squad Friday.
Bohanon will add depth at fullback moving forward. Patrick Ricard typically handles that position for the Ravens, but he's currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list and could miss another game. Bohanon last played in 2018 when he suited up in 16 games for the Jaguars.

Derrick Gore RB | WAS
Derrick Gore: Cut from practice squad
The Chargers cut Gore from the practice squad Friday.
The Chargers are healthier in the backfield now that Austin Ekeler is back from IR. They're adding depth elsewhere with JJ Molson signing with the practice squad, and Gore was let go in a corresponding move. An undrafted rookie out of Louisiana-Monroe, Gore has yet to make his NFL debut.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Listed as questionable for SNF
Edwards-Helaire (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Broncos, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
Though Edwards-Helaire missed practice both Thursday and Friday due to a stomach virus, Herbie Teope of The Kansas City Star relays that coach Andy Reid sounds hopeful about the running back's Week 13 status. "We think we're going to get him back here," Reid noted Friday. "I mean, I don't think that's a problem. He's feeling better today, but we held him out." Look for added clarity regarding Edwards-Helaire's availability to arrive no later than Sunday morning, after the likes of ESPN's Adam Schefter and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport post their late night/early morning injury updates.

Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Practicing next week
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Penny (knee) is slated to join the team for practice next week, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
Penny has been sidelined for a full year after tearing the ACL in his left knee, but the third-year running back finally is ready to take a major step forward in his recovery by getting back on the practice field. Once he takes part in his first practice, Penny will initiate a 21-day window for the Seahawks to evaluate him for a return to the 53-man roster. Given his lengthy layoff, Penny will likely need more than one week of practice time to prepare himself for game action, so don't expect him to make his 2020 debut until Week 15 in Washington, at the soonest.

Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Unlikely to play Sunday
Homer (wrist/thumb/knee) is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Giants, Joe Fann of NBC Sports Northwest reports.
Homer is dealing with a trio of injuries and is expected to be sidelined for the third straight game as a result. Chris Carson (foot) is clear of an injury designation and will lead Seattle's backfield Week 13.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Good to go Sunday
Kamara (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Atlanta.
After being listed as limited on the first two practice reports of Week 13, Kamara capped the week with a full session, paving the way for him to suit up Sunday. With Taysom Hill directing the offense in place of Drew Brees (ribs) the last two games, Kamara has been splitting the backfield reps with Latavius Murray, compiling 25 touches for 97 yards from scrimmage and one TD to the latter's 34-211-2 line. It'll be interesting if Kamara will be able to swing the pendulum in his favor this weekend.

J.K. Dobbins RB | DEN
Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: Activated from reserve/COVID-19 list
Dobbins was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.
The Ravens made a series of transactions Friday, and Dobbins now is back on the active roster. The Ravens have multiple practice opportunities remaining before Tuesday's game against the Cowboys, which should give Dobbins time to prepare. It's worth noting as well that Mark Ingram was not among those activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list, so that could be one less player to compete with for carries when it comes to Dobbins. Look for Dobbins and Gus Edwards to be Baltimore's primary running backs Tuesday.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Status in question for Sunday
Swift (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Chicago, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
Swift cleared the concussion protocol as of Thursday, but he proceeded to miss the final two practices of the week due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. If he receives clearance to play Sunday for the first time since Week 10, interim coach Darrell Bevell told Justin Rogers of The Detroit News that Swift will have a "smaller, game-plan specific role." As a result, it'll be difficult to trust an active Swift after Adrian Peterson compiled 15 carries for 55 yards and two touchdowns against the Texans on Thanksgiving Day.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Won't play Sunday
Jacobs (ankle) won't play Sunday against the Jets, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Now that Jacobs is ruled out, look for Devontae Booker to head the Raiders' Week 13 backfield, with Jalen Richard and Theo Riddick available to handle complementary/change-of-pace duties Sunday. Jacobs now will target a potential return to action Dec. 13 against the Colts.

Matt Breida RB | SF
Dolphins' Matt Breida: Placed on COVID-19 list
The Dolphins placed Breida (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Friday.
Breida missed Friday's practice with an illness prior to being officially placed on the COVID-19 list, a transaction which rules him out for Sunday's game against the Bengals. Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) and DeAndre Washington (hamstring) are also both doubtful to face Cincinnati, which leaves Patrick Laird and Lynn Bowden as the only healthy running backs currently on Miami's roster. It seems likely that the team will promote Myles Gaskin (knee) from IR on Saturday, in time for him to reclaim the lead role, but in any event Miami won't have much in the way of backfield depth Week 13.
