  • Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Misses practice again

Edwards-Helaire, who is dealing with a stomach virus, didn't practice Friday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

It looks likely that Edwards-Helaire will be listed as questionable for Sunday's night's game against the Broncos, but coach Andy Reid noted of the running back Friday that "we think we're going to get him back'' for the contest.

  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Vikings' Dalvin Cook: All systems go for Week 13

Cook (ankle) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

The Vikings capped Cook's reps in their first two practices of the week, but that was mainly for maintenance purposes after he had suffered a minor ankle tweak in last week's win over the Panthers. After allowing him to return to full activity Friday, Cook completed the session no worse for the wear, eliminating any concern about his status heading into the weekend. The 25-year-old once again should be in store for a bell-cow role Sunday, taking on a Jaguars defense that has allowed 4.5 yards per carry and 14 rushing touchdowns in 11 games this season.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Could be activated Saturday

Coach Brian Flores said Friday that there's a chance Gaskin (knee) could be activated off IR on Saturday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Flores officially was non-committal about Gaskins' prospects of coming off IR, but given that Salvon Ahmed (shoulder) and DeAndre Washington (hamstring) are both doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bengals, and Matt Breida is dealing with an illness, the Dolphins are in dire need of backfield reinforcements. Gaskin was Miami's clear starter prior to missing the last four games due to an MCL injury, so if he's in shape to play he'll surely reclaim the lead role.

  • Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI

Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Doubtful to face Bengals

Coach Brian Flores said Friday that Ahmed (shoulder) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

Ahmed looks on track to miss his second straight game due to a lingering shoulder injury, though he hasn't yet been ruled out. With DeAndre Washington (hamstring) also doubtful and Matt Breida (illness) dealing with an ailment, Patrick Laird and Lynn Bowden are currently the Dolphins' only healthy running backs. However, Myles Gaskin (knee) could come off IR in time for Sunday's contest against the Bengals.

  • Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Not spotted at practice Friday

Edwards-Helaire (illness) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

The running back didn't practice Thursday, so his Friday injury report designation will be notable. If Edwards-Helaire's illness results in him being limited at all or out Sunday against the Broncos, Le'Veon Bell would be in line for an expanded role Week 13.

  • Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI

Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Not spotted at practice

Ahmed (shoulder) wasn't present at the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com reports.

Ahmed began the week with back-to-back limited practices, so he would be taking a notable step in the wrong direction if he ends up missing Friday's session entirely. The Dolphins' final practice report of the week will be released later Friday and will shed more light on Ahmed's situation heading into Sunday's game against the Bengals.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Lions' D'Andre Swift: Still ill, missing practice again

Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell said that Swift (illness) won't participate in Friday's practice, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Though Swift cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, he won't be present at practice for the second day in a row while he tends to a non-COVID-related illness. Because Swift hasn't put in a full practice since Nov. 18, Bevell acknowledged that even if the rookie is cleared to suit up Sunday against the Bears, he'll be in store for a smaller, game plan-specific role, per Justin Rogers of The Detroit News. The Lions will give Swift an official designation for the Week 13 matchup shortly after Friday's practice concludes.

  • Ty'Son Williams: Returns to practice squad

Williams reverted to Baltimore's practice squad Thursday, per the league's official transactions report.

Both J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram sat out Wednesday's loss to the Steelers on the COVID-19 list, so Williams was active for Baltimore as an emergency option. However, he didn't see any action. He'll now resume working to impress on the practice squad.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Seahawks' Travis Homer: No-go in practice Thursday

Homer (wrist/thumb/knee) did not participate during Thursday's practice session, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Homer has been inactive for each of Seattle's past two games, and back-to-back DNPs to commence the practice week provides doubt for his status heading into a matchup against the Giants. Chris Carson (foot) was limited Thursday while Carlos Hyde (toe) sat out, leaving rookie DeeJay Dallas as the team's only injury-free back on the active roster at the moment.

  • Jaguars' Dare Ogunbowale: Clear of hand injury

Ogunbowale (hand) was a full participant during the Jaguars' practice session Thursday.

After garnering a season-high 13 offensive snaps in Jacksonville's preceding matchup against Pittsburgh, Ogunbowale was deemed unavailable to face the Browns in Week 12. He collected 303 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns over 46 touches last year as a Buccaneer, but thus far in 2020, Ogunbowale has been seldom deployed. He's registered just one touch on offense this season, as undrafted rookie James Robinson continues to dominate the RB workshare.
