  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: On track to play Sunday

Swift (groin/personal) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play Sunday against the Giants, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Swift missed last Sunday's win over the Bengals, paving the way for rookie Kyle Monangai to step into a leading role en route to finishing with 198 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches. Monangai's big game prompted head coach Ben Johnson to say Friday that he may take a "hot-hand" approach with Swift and Monangai moving forward, according to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com. Assuming Swift is formally cleared ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, he'll draw a favorable matchup against the Giants' 31st-ranked run defense, but Monangai's potential to handle an increased role makes Swift a riskier fantasy bet compared to previous weeks.

  • Corey Kiner RB | ARI

Vikings' Corey Kiner: Called up to active roster

The Vikings elevated Kiner from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Kiner will join the Vikings' active roster for the first time this season after he signed with the team's practice squad in mid-September. His elevation gives the Vikings emergency depth in the backfield in case Aaron Jones (shoulder/toe) is not cleared to play against the Ravens on Sunday.

  • Chargers' Trayveon Williams: Elevated to Bolts' active roster

The Chargers elevated Williams from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Williams and fellow practice squad running back Jaret Patterson have both been elevated to the Chargers' active roster, and they will provide backfield depth behind Kimani Vidal against the Steelers on Sunday. Williams appeared in 17 regular-season games for the Bengals in 2024, though he mostly played on special teams and did not record a carry or target.

  • Chargers' Jaret Patterson: Elevated for Week 10

The Chargers elevated Patterson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Patterson will be elevated to the Chargers' active roster for a third consecutive week, and he is expected to serve as the primary backup to Kimani Vidal on Sunday. Patterson has turned 20 carries into 74 yards in two regular-season games, though Vidal will be the top pass-catching back, as the former has not recorded a target this season.

  • Patriots' D'Ernest Johnson: Elevated for Week 10

The Patriots elevated Johnson from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Johnson has been elevated to the Patriots' active roster for a second consecutive week. He will serve as the RB3 behind TreVeyon Henderson and Terrell Jennings and will also serve as a returner on kickoffs in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, per Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site. Johnson played five snaps on special teams without showing up in the box score otherwise during the Patriots' Week 9 win over the Falcons.

  • Michael Carter RB | TEN

Cardinals' Michael Carter: Joins active roster

The Cardinals signed Carter from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Arizona used up its third and final elevation for Carter this past Monday at Dallas, only for him to log no snaps on offense or special teams despite being active. Emari Demercado (15 touches, 40 percent snap share) and Bam Knight (11 touches, 57 percent snap share) ended up splitting the backfield reps, and with Trey Benson (knee) still on injured reserve, such a breakdown likely will continue Sunday at Seattle. As a result, Carter currently doesn't hold much sway in terms of fantasy.

  • Trey Sermon RB | PIT

Steelers' Trey Sermon: Signed to active roster

The Steelers signed Sermon to the active roster from their practice squad Saturday.

Sermon had already been elevated for the maximum three games before being signed to the active roster. However, the 26-year-old has played just one offensive snap across those outings, and he should continue to see the majority of his playing time on special teams going forward.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Vikings' Aaron Jones: Expected to play vs. Baltimore

Jones (shoulder/toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens but is expected to play, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Jones ended Week 10 prep with back-to-back limited practices to draw the questionable tag, but he relayed to reporters after Friday's session that he'll "be in a good spot" by Sunday, per Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com. Jones' official status may not be known until the Vikings announce their list of inactive players approximately 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, but the veteran running back is trending toward being available for the Vikings. Jordan Mason and Zavier Scott would be in line for more backfield snaps if Jones is ruled out or operates on a snap count.

  • Malik Davis RB | DAL

Malik Davis: Signs with Dallas' practice squad

The Cowboys signed Davis to their practice squad Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Davis was not claimed by another team after Dallas waived him Tuesday, and now he's back with the club's practice squad. With Javonte Williams and rookie fifth-rounder Jaydon Blue currently the only healthy running backs on the 53-man roster, Davis again could become a candidate for elevation after the Cowboys' bye in Week 10.

  • Jakob Johnson RB | HOU

Texans' Jakob Johnson: Not ready to return

Johnson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

Johnson was a full participant in practice all week, but he's not quite ready to return from injured reserve. Given his ability to ramp up his practice participation, the seventh-year pro should be activated from IR ahead of the Texans' Week 11 clash against the Titans on Sunday, Nov. 16.
