Larry Rountree III RB | HOU
Chargers' Larry Rountree: Two carries in win
Rountree carried the ball two times for five yards in the 41-37 win over Pittsburgh on Sunday night.
After scoring a touchdown last week, Rountree was ineffective Sunday night as he recorded only five total yards. However, the rookie running back played a season-high 25 percent of offensive snaps. Expect the Chargers to continue to utilize Rountree both as a backup to Austin Ekeler and as a goal-line back throughout the rest of the season.

Deon Jackson RB | DET
Colts' Deon Jackson: Gets six carries in win
Jackson had six carries for 12 yards in Sunday's win at Buffalo.
Jackson played seven snaps on offense as he got some touches amid a blowout win. Jackson is serving as the third running back over Marlon Mack because Jackson plays on special teams. If Jonathan Taylor of Nyheim Hines were to get hurt, it's likely Mack who would be active on game days instead of Jackson.

Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Colts' Nyheim Hines: Just four carries in win
Hines had four carries for 31 yards in Sunday's win at Buffalo.
Hines played just 13 snaps on offense as he's had a smaller role in the offense then last season with Jonathan Taylor continuing to get more work (32 carries Sunday, and 17 targets over the last four games). Hines may have a week where he figures more prominently in the game plan as he did in Week 9 (108 scrimmage yards), but it's hard to see those coming and he otherwise isn't a major factor if Taylor is healthy.

Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Injury downplayed
Head coach Pete Carroll downplayed Penny's hamstring injury Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. "[Penny] has a slight hamstring we've got to deal with...It's not a bad injury, but there's something there."
Carroll is notoriously optimistic about injuries, so don't read into this too much. We have reason to be concerned about Penny, as he has played just seven games since tearing his ACL in December of 2019. The 2018 first-round pick will likely carry at least a questionable tag into Monday's game versus the Football Team. Fantasy managers shouldn't need to worry too much about the implications either way because Penny has just 17 carries for 43 yards (2.5 YPC) through four appearances this year.

Darrel Williams RB | NO
Chiefs' Darrel Williams: Major decline in touches
Williams tallied five carries for 15 yards and reeled in one of his three targets for another 11 yards Sunday versus the Cowboys.
Williams didn't see a considerable drop in his snap count overall. Still, he did see a significant shift in his touch count, finishing the day with just six total after averaging more than 18 per game while Clyde Edwards-Helaire was sidelined. Edwards-Helaire's return likely deprives Williams of a lot of his fantasy utility, but he should still contribute in some capacity as both a receiver and a runner moving forward.

Patrick Laird RB | TB
Dolphins' Patrick Laird: Two touches vs. Jets
Laird recorded one carry for four yards and secured his only target for five yards during Sunday's win over the Jets.
Laird was marginally involved on offense, though it's notable that his only target did come in the red zone. The presence of Duke Johnson, who was bumped up from the practice squad versus New York and handled four carries, further seemed to limit Laird's offensive opportunities.

Samaje Perine RB | CIN
Bengals' Samaje Perine: Nine offensive snaps
Perine was limited to nine offensive snaps in the Week 11 win over the Raiders. He had two carries for three yards along with three catches for 18 yards.
Joe Mixon is fully healthy again and is back to being the Bengals' bell-cow running back. Thus, Perine has been relegated to traditional backup duties, even when the Bengals were ahead most of the game.
-
Boston Scott RB | PIT
Eagles' Boston Scott: Eight total touches in win
Scott rushed six times for 16 yards and caught both of his targets for four yards in Sunday's 40-29 win over the Saints.
Each of Scott's catches came in the first half, but he didn't see a single carry until after halftime. He got the first series after the break to himself, and then Jordan Howard hurt his knee and opened up more work for the 26-year-old. With Howard likely to miss Week 12, the Louisiana Tech product will likely be Miles Sanders' main backup on the road against the Giants.
-
Eno Benjamin RB | NO
Cardinals' Eno Benjamin: Snags seven touches in Week 11
Benjamin notched six carries for 15 yards, hauled in his only target for five yards and returned one kickoff for 19 yards during Sunday's 23-13 win in Seattle.
In two-plus games subbing in for Chase Edmonds (ankle), Benjamin has hovered between 23 and 28 percent of the offensive plays, while starter James Conner has accounted for a whopping 76-81 percent. The result has been 21 carries for 76 yards, Sunday's five-yard catch and one rushing TD on Benjamin's ledger. With Edmonds sidelined, Conner has turned into a three-down back, and Benjamin has had little more than scraps on a weekly basis. Edmonds will miss the Cardinals' next game Sunday, Dec. 5 at Chicago due to the requirement that he must sit out at least three contests while on injured reserve, so Benjamin does have at least one more chance to be a regular part of the offense.
