Ronald Jones RB | DAL
Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Finds end zone
Jones rushed eight times for 33 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 30-10 win over the Giants.
Jones took a carry around the left side to score from six yards out in the second quarter, marking his second end-zone trip of the campaign. With the Buccaneers never relinquishing the lead that play gave them, Jones was incorporated slightly more in the running game than usual, getting just two fewer carries than starter Leonard Fournette. Even though he was again efficient with his touches Monday, Jones' backup role limits his expected value ahead of Week 12's matchup versus the Colts.

Nick Bawden RB | HOU
Nick Bawden: Back to practice squad
Bawden reverted to the Jets' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Bawden was on the field for eight snaps on offense and 17 on special teams in the Week 11 loss to the Dolphins. He also hauled in his lone target of the day for 20 yards. Sunday's contest marked the second straight game he's appeared in for New York.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Gets 12 touches in return
Barkley rushed six times for 25 yards and caught all six of his targets for 31 yards in Monday night's 30-10 loss to the Buccaneers.
Barkley's first appearance since Week 5 saw him fall victim to an ugly offensive performance from the Giants, albeit against a tough opponent. The tailback's six rushing attempts actually paced New York on a night when the team never led and had to throw the ball 39 times, but Barkley fortunately was also incorporated as a pass-catcher. Along with hauling in all of his targets, only Kadarius Toney made more grabs for New York. Although his 56 scrimmage yards still weren't anything special, Barkley can at least be pleased with his involvement in his return from another injury stint. He'll strive to build on Monday's appearance in what could be a more favorable game script against the Eagles in Week 12.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Returning to action Monday
Barkley (ankle) is listed as active Monday at Tampa Bay.
Barkley last took the field in Week 5, when he managed just six snaps at Dallas before suffering a severe left ankle sprain. He returned to practice following the Giants' Week 10 bye and officially was limited Thursday through Saturday before being termed questionable for Week 11 action. Now back in uniform after a four-game absence, Barkley is slated to be New York's lead ball carrier ahead of Devontae Booker, who averaged 19 touches per game in his place. Prior to hitting injured reserve, Barkley averaged 3.6 yards on 54 carries, hauled in 14 of 20 targets for 130 yards and scored three TDs in five contests.

Elijah Mitchell RB | PHI
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Deemed 'day-to-day'
San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan described Mitchell (finger) as "day-to-day" Monday, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Shanahan relayed the news one day removed from Mitchell sitting out the 49ers' Week 11 win at Jacksonville due to a broken middle finger on his right hand. Mitchell underwent surgery on the appendage last Tuesday and didn't practice last week as a result. San Francisco gets back on the field Wednesday as it prepares for a visit from the Vikings on Sunday, but it remains to be seen if Mitchell makes the requisite progress in his recovery. Against the Jags, Jeff Wilson paced the 49ers backfield with 40 (of 69) offensive snaps and 20 touches, while Deebo Samuel (55 and nine, respectively), Kyle Juszczyk (38, one) and Trey Sermon (24, 11) were next up in the pecking order with JaMycal Hasty (ankle) also sidelined.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Bears' Damien Williams: Sits out Monday
Williams (calf/knee) was a non-participant at Monday's walkthrough.
Williams was inactive for Sunday's loss to the Ravens, his second consecutive absence, and he was unable to take the field one day later. The 29-year-old will need to make some progress in his recovery over the next couple days to have a chance of suiting up Thursday at Detroit.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Estimated as limited participant
The Cowboys listed Elliott as a limited participant on Monday's estimated practice report with a knee injury, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Though Dallas didn't hold an official practice as it begins Week 12 prep, the team's estimation of Elliott as a limited participant is a reassuring sign of his chances of being ready to go by the time Thursday's game against the Raiders arrives. Elliott's knee injury -- which he sustained in the first half of Sunday's 19-9 loss when his leg got caught under a Chiefs defender -- is believed to be an aggravation of the one he initially picked up in the Cowboys' Week 9 loss to Denver. Even if Elliott is able to show enough improvement to avoid taking an injury designation into the Thanksgiving Day matchup, it's possible the Dallas coaching staff looks to monitor his workload and have No. 2 back Tony Pollard take on a more pronounced role in the game plan.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Not yet practicing
The Saints listed Kamara (knee) as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report.
While New Orleans didn't hold a formal practice one day after its 40-29 loss to the Eagles, Kamara's estimated listing means that he wouldn't have been on the field if the Saints held a workout. The Saints face a quick turnaround Week 12 with a Thursday night matchup against the Bills, so Kamara could be hard-pressed to put an end to his two-game absence due to an MCL sprain. He hasn't practiced in any capacity since last Wednesday; he was a limited participant that day and then didn't practice either of the next two days, seemingly hinting at a setback. Mark Ingram would be in line to serve as New Orleans' lead back once again if Kamara is ruled out for Thanksgiving night.
-
Jermar Jefferson RB | SF
Lions' Jermar Jefferson: Listed as limited participant
Jefferson (ankle/knee) was listed as a limited participant on Monday's practice estimation.
Jefferson missed Sunday's loss to the Browns with ankle and knee injuries and has a short week to recover ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Bears. If he's unable to return against Chicago, Godwin Igwebuike would serve as the Lions' No. 3 running back.

Michael Carter RB | TEN
Jets' Michael Carter: Two-week absence confirmed
Head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that Carter will miss "a couple weeks" after he suffered a low-grade ankle sprain in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Dolphins, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
Saleh made the announcement minutes after Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the injury would sideline Carter for 2-to-3 weeks. While the rookie is out of action for the Jets' Week 12 game in Houston and likely an additional contest to follow, expect the team to rely on the tandem of Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman as its main options out of the backfield.
