  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Scores first NFL TD in win

Hall rushed seven times for 50 yards and caught a 10-yard touchdown on his only target in Sunday's 31-30 win over Cleveland.

Hall caught a 10-yard touchdown in the final minute of the first half, but that was his only target in Week 2 after Hall had 10 passes thrown his way in his NFL debut. Michael Carter also had seven carries but got more pass-catching opportunities, totaling five targets. New York has a near-even platoon between two running backs that are both capable of playing in all situations heading into a Week 3 visit from the Bengals.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Three TDs in shocking loss

Chubb rushed 17 times for 87 yards and three touchdowns while catching all three of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 31-30 loss to the Jets.

After watching Kareem Hunt score twice last week, Chubb capped Cleveland's first drive of Week 2 with a four-yard touchdown run. Chubb scored again from seven yards out in the fourth quarter to break a 17-17 tie, then seemingly put the game away with a 12-yard touchdown run just after the two-minute warning. A missed Browns PAT followed by a touchdown-onside kick-touchdown sequence for the Jets produced a miracle New York comeback, but while Browns fans will be heartbroken, Chubb's fantasy managers can celebrate one of the top performances of the young season. Chubb has gotten 20-plus touches in each of Cleveland's first two games and should see another heavy workload Thursday against the Steelers.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Approaches 25 touches in win

Barkley rushed 21 times for 72 yards and caught three of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Panthers.

Barkley gained a bit of steam to end the game, but he was generally contained well after exploding for 164 rushing yards in Week 1. Still, for the second straight game, Barkley garnered 24 touches, serving as the Giants' workhorse in another narrow victory. He and New York will strive to keep the early season momentum going against the division-rival Cowboys on Monday night in Week 3.

  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Effective in reserve role

Stevenson ran for 47 yards on nine carries against Pittsburgh on Sunday, adding a four-yard catch on two targets.

Stevenson is a capable back and one who could probably handle a bigger workload, but Damien Harris (15 carries, two targets) functioned as the lead runner in this one. So long as Harris is in the way it might be difficult for Stevenson to fully break out, though the two are capable of coexisting to some extent.

  • Najee Harris RB | LAC

Steelers' Najee Harris: Inefficient in rushing game

Harris rushed 15 times for 49 yards while hauling in five of six targets for 40 yards during Sunday's 17-14 loss to the Patriots.

Although Harris missed the end of last week's regular-season opener due to a foot injury, he was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday and saw plenty of touches during the team's narrow Week 2 loss. Although he propped up his fantasy production due to his involvement in the passing game, he was inefficient on the ground, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry after being held to 2.3 yards per carry last week. Harris' volume hasn't been a significant concern early in 2022, but he'll need to be more efficient if he's to justify the lofty ADP that he commanded ahead of his sophomore season.

  • Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Tops 100 yards on ground

McCaffrey rushed 15 times for 102 yards and caught four of five targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 19-16 loss to the Giants.

McCaffrey ripped off a 49-yard run to begin the fourth quarter, helping him top the century mark on the day. Although he didn't find the end zone like in Week 1, McCaffrey was much more productive from a yardage standpoint Sunday. While it still wasn't enough to get the Panthers their first win of the season, McCaffrey carries some decent momentum into what could be a tough Week 3 matchup versus the Saints.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Functions as lead back

Harris ran for 71 yards and one touchdown on 15 carries against Pittsburgh on Sunday, adding two catches for 16 yards on two targets.

It was a nice game from Harris, whose 15 carries and two targets outpaced Rhamondre Stevenson's nine carries and two targets. So long as Harris' lead-runner role holds up, he should be useful in most fantasy formats, perhaps including against Baltimore in Week 3. The fears of him losing his starting role to Stevenson have not proven sound to this point.

  • Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Inactive again Sunday

Ingram (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game in Las Vegas, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Like he was in the opener, Ingram is a healthy scratch Week 2. With the rookie sixth-round pick in street clothes, Arizona again will rely on James Conner as the team's top runner, while Eno Benjamin handles primary backup duties and Darrel Williams and Jonathan Ward likely stick to special-teams roles.

  • Raiders' Brandon Bolden: Inactive in Week 2

Bolden (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 clash against the Cardinals.

As became increasingly expected as the week unfolded, Bolden will not be healthy enough to suit up after recording a receiving touchdown in the Week 1 loss to the Chargers. In his absence, Ameer Abdullah and rookie Zamir White could be beneficiaries in the form of complementary snaps behind Josh Jacobs against Arizona.

  • Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI

Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Set for pro debut Sunday

Allgeier is listed as active Sunday at the Rams, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

A rookie fifth-round pick, Allgeier was a healthy scratch during the Falcons' season-opening loss to the Saints, as the team rolled with Cordarrelle Patterson, Damien Williams and Avery Williams at running back. Damien Williams picked up a rib injury during that contest and proceeded to miss every Week 2 practice before the team ruled him out Friday and placed him on IR on Saturday. With the older Williams sidelined for at least the next four games, Allgeier will get a chance to make his presence felt on the field, though Patterson still is expected to garner most of the RB reps Sunday.
