Deon Jackson RB | DET
Colts' Deon Jackson: Limited in return to practice
Jackson (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice.
When he was last on the field for the Colts' Week 9 loss to the Patriots, Jackson handled the lead role out of the backfield but mustered only 36 total yards on 13 touches. He also injured his knee during that contest and was forced to sit out the Colts' win over the Raiders, when top back Jonathan Taylor returned from a one-game absence and delivered one of his best performances of the season. Though Jackson's return to practice gives him a shot at being available this weekend against the Eagles, Taylor has escaped last week's game free of any setbacks to his ankle and looks poised to retain a high-volume role moving forward. With that in mind, Jackson likely won't be in store for anything more than a few touches if he's deemed ready to play this Sunday.

Dare Ogunbowale RB | HOU
Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Practices in full Thursday
Ogunbowale (foot) was listed as a full participant on the Texans' injury report Thursday.
Ogunbowale played his usual supplementary role Week 10 against the Giants, but he was surprisingly sidelined with a foot injury during practice Wednesday. While it's unclear with this issue first arose, the running back appears to have worked past it and should be available for Sunday's game against the Commanders. Ogunbowale had begun to see playing time behind Dameon Pierce and Rex Burkhead over the last four weeks, though he could revert back to an exclusive role on special teams after Houston claimed running back Eno Benjamin off waivers Tuesday.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Remains limited at practice
Elliott (knee) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
On the heels of consecutive capped sessions to kick off Week 11 prep, Elliott spoke to the media Thursday, telling Jon Machota of The Athletic that he's "definitely very optimistic" about playing in Sunday's game against the Vikings. Elliott added that he intends to wear a brace on his right knee, which is recovering from a Grade 2 MCL sprain that he picked up back in Week 7. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not he has a designation for the Week 11 game.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Lions' Jamaal Williams: Returns to practice
Williams (illness) was a full participant at Thursday's practice.
Williams sat out the Lions' first practice of the week Wednesday after falling ill, but his ability to take every rep a day later clears the way for him to suit up this Sunday against the Giants. Though D'Andre Swift (ankle/shoulder) has been practicing fully this week and is on pace to be available for the fourth consecutive game, he could still be relegated to a complementary role while playing at less than 100 percent. Swift's snap shares have ranged between 16 and 52 percent over the past three contests, while Williams' share has dipped no lower than 39 percent over that stretch. Williams has out-carried Swift by a 50-13 margin in those games, but Swift has quadrupled Williams' target count (12 to three).

Derrick Gore RB | WAS
Derrick Gore: Sticking with NOLA
The Saints re-signed Gore to the practice squad Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Gore initially signed with New Orleans' practice squad last Wednesday before being cut by the team Tuesday. While the 27-year-old running back was not elevated during the team's Week 10 loss to the Steelers, he'll land back on the team's practice squad along with fellow veteran David Johnson, who was also signed Wednesday. With No. 2 running back Mark Ingram (knee) expected to remain out at least one more week and Dwayne Washington apparently relegated to a special-teams role, Gore and Johnson could jockey for a spot on the team's game-day roster during Sunday's game against the Rams.

Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Commanders' Jonathan Williams: Full go in practice Wednesday
Williams (knee) was listed as a full participant on the Commanders' estimated injury report Wednesday.
Williams was a late add to Week 10's injury report, as he first popped up with a knee issue Monday morning before being ruled inactive for Washington's win over Philadelphia. While the Commanders did not hold a full practice Wednesday, it appears the running back was able to quickly work past this injury given his estimated participation to begin Week 11. Williams has played primarily on special teams over six games this season, though he could see usage in a supplemental role on offense if third-string running back J.D. McKissic (neck) remains out against the Texans on Sunday.

Ameer Abdullah RB | JAC
Raiders' Ameer Abdullah: Comes down with illness
Abdullah (illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Abdullah appears to have picked up an illness after catching all four of his targets during Sunday's loss to the Colts. While the nature of this ailment is still unclear, he'll have two full days to overcome this ailment before Las Vegas' final injury report Friday. Abdullah has seen a sharp increase in his playing time on offense over the past four weeks, and he'll look to maintain a pass-catching role out of the backfield this Sunday against the Broncos.

Dare Ogunbowale RB | HOU
Texans' Dare Ogunbowale: Dealing with injury
Ogunbowale (foot) was listed as a non-participant on the Texans' injury report Wednesday.
Ogunbowale caught one pass while playing three of his 23 total snaps on offense against the Giants in Week 10, though he appears to have come away with a foot injury following this loss. Unless he increases his practice activity Thursday or Friday, the 28-year-old will likely be at risk of missing his first game of the season Sunday versus the Commanders. Ogunbowale recorded 43 rushes for 137 yards and a touchdown over 17 contests with Jacksonville last year, though he's primarily played on special teams over his first nine games with Houston.
-
Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Limited at practice Wednesday
McKinnon (hamstring/shoulder) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday.
Ahead of this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars, McKinnon was listed as questionable for the contest while he dealt with shoulder, hamstring and knee injuries. The running back ultimately suited up and played 24 snaps behind starter Isiah Pacheco, carrying once for two yards and catching six of eight targets for 56 yards. McKinnon appears to have shed the knee injury, and with no reported setbacks coming out of the Week 10 contest, his limitations Wednesday may well have been maintenance-related. If that's the case, he should continue to see enough change-of-pace work this weekend against the Chargers to merit attention in PPR formats.

Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Limited in practice
Elliott (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Patrick Walker of the Cowboys' official site reports.
Elliott had been limited in every practice last week and didn't end up playing in an eventual loss to the Packers. Head coach Mike McCarthy said Wednesday that an upcoming Thanksgiving Day game and the short week won't have any impact on the active/inactive decision this Sunday at Minnesota, telling reporters that Elliott will play if he's ready, per Todd Archer of ESPN.com.
