  • Jameis Winston QB | NYG

Giants' Jameis Winston: Trending toward Sunday's start

Winston is expected to draw the start at QB for the Giants against the Packers on Sunday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports.

Per the report, Jaxson Dart -- who is in the NFL's concussion protocol in advance of Wednesday's practice -- seems unlikely to play this weekend, and if he's sidelined, Winston rather than Russell Wilson would be in line to draw the start against Green Bay. Winston thus represents an option for those in QB-friendly fantasy formats, or who are otherwise in need of signal-caller depth ahead of Week 11 action.

  • C.J. Stroud QB | HOU

Texans' C.J. Stroud: Progressing entering Week 11

Stroud remains in the concussion protocol but was in the building Monday as Houston prepares for Week 11 against Tennessee, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Stroud, who sat out last week's win over the Jaguars, suffered a concussion in the Texans' loss to the Broncos in Week 9. This week, the club will hold practices Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday with a walk-through Friday, per Alexander. Stroud will need to practice at least twice without exhibiting any concussion symptoms to have a chance to be cleared for Sunday's game.

  • Browns' Shedeur Sanders: Staying on bench Week 11

Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski said following Sunday's loss to the Jets that Sanders will remain the backup quarterback for Week 11 against the Ravens, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

As evidence mounts weekly that Dillon Gabriel is in over his head during his rookie campaign, Stefanski hasn't budged on promoting Sanders. The coach was asked directly Monday about when Sanders' chance might be coming, but Stefanski refused to speculate. Sanders, who was never given a single rep with the first-team offense during the summer, is apparently not ready to replace a struggling quarterback three months into the regular season.

  • Dillon Gabriel QB | CLE

Browns' Dillon Gabriel: Holds job for another week

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said immediately following Sunday's loss to the Jets that Gabriel will remain the starting quarterback Week 11 against Baltimore, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports.

That Stefanski will stick with Gabriel, despite mounting evidence that the rookie is out of his depth, could indicate his confidence level in backup Shedeur Sanders. Gabriel had a few good moments in the Week 10 loss when new play-caller, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees, added more designed rollouts. That resulted in No. 1 wideout Jerry Jeudy getting his hands on the ball more often and a season-high 54 yards rushing for the quarterback, but opposing defenses are not being challenged. Gabriel ranks 41st among NFL quarterbacks at minus-0.18 expected points added, and he's showing little evidence that improvement is coming.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Progressing, but not practicing

The Browns plan on waiting until at least Week 12 to potentially open the 21-day practice window for Watson (Achilles), Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

On Monday, head coach Kevin Stefanski noted that Watson was progressing well in his recovery from Jan. 20 surgery and didn't dismiss the possibility of the quarterback could practice this week, but a return to the field will instead be delayed by at least one more week. Given that he hasn't practiced in more than a year, he'll likely need close to the full 21-day window to fully ramp up before the Browns would consider activating him from the PUP list. Despite having been out all season, Watson has attended all meetings and has filled a mentorship role for Cleveland's two rookie quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and backup Shedeur Sanders. The 30-year-old remains under contract with the Browns through next season after inking a five-year, $230 million extension with Cleveland shortly after he was acquired from the Texans in March 2022.

  • Mike White QB | CAR

    Mike White: Back with Carolina

The Panthers signed White to the practice squad Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.

White will rejoin the team and serve as organizational quarterback depth behind Bryce Young and Andy Dalton in Carolina.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Throws team's only TD on MNF

Hurts completed 15 of 26 pass attempts for 183 yards and a touchdown while taking five carries for 27 yards and a lost fumble in Monday's 10-7 win over Green Bay.

Hurts fell victim to a frigid defensive battle at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football. He coughed up his second fumble of the season at the end of a lengthy opening drive and followed that up with three punts and a turnover on downs in a scoreless first half. The 26-year-old came alive in the fourth quarter when he fired a 36-yard rainbow to DeVonta Smith for Philadelphia's only touchdown and game-winning score. Hurts may be asked to shoulder more of a load on offense Week 11 against a Lions offense that is clicking on all cylinders heading into Sunday Night Football.

  • Jordan Love QB | GB

Packers' Jordan Love: Uninspired performance in loss

Love completed 20 of 36 passes for 176 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions while adding five rushes for 28 yards in the Packers' 10-7 loss to the Eagles on Monday night. He committed two fumbles, losing one.

Love's night didn't even live up to his middling numbers, as 71 of the veteran signal-caller's yards came on the last two drives. The Packers' five first-half possessions resulted in four punts and a lost fumble by Love on a sack, and he averaged a season-low 4.9 yards per attempt overall. Love also went without a touchdown pass for the second straight game while producing his fourth sub-200-yard tally of the campaign, leaving him with plenty of room for improvement in a Week 11 road matchup against the Giants on Sunday.

  • Sam Howell QB | PHI

Eagles' Sam Howell: Emergency QB for MNF

Howell (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Eagles' emergency third quarterback against the Packers on Monday.

Howell is restricted from entering Monday's game unless Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee are both removed due to injury, illness or ejection. Howell has not appeared in a single regular-season game in 2025.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: May be eyeing Thanksgiving return

Burrow (toe) won't play Sunday against the Steelers after the Bengals designated him for return from injured reserve Monday, but the quarterback acknowledged that he's hopeful to begin available for Cincinnati's Thanksgiving Day game against the Ravens on Nov. 27, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. "We'll see how these next couple weeks go," Burrow said, when asked about a potential return date. "There's a lot that goes into it. There's a lot of variables that you have to consider."

One of those variables will be the Bengals' record as he works his way back from surgery to address a Grade 3 sprain of the big toe on his left foot, a procedure he underwent Sept. 19. In any case, it looks like veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco -- who is managing a shoulder issue of his own -- will draw at least two more starts for the 3-6 Bengals. In his return to practice Monday in a limited capacity, Burrow didn't participate in any 11-on-11 team drills, but he threw some passes to receivers while not facing any defenders.
