Trevor Siemian QB | ATL
Broncos' Trevor Siemian: Finishes season with 18 touchdowns
Siemian completed his first season as a starter having completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 3,401 yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He also added 57 yards on the ground on 28 attempts.
It was a very up and down campaign for Siemian, who was on Denver's roster all of last season but didn't attempt a pass. In some ways, the stats paint too flattering of a picture as - Week 3's win over Cincinnati and Week 13's loss to Kansas City removed- Siemian's touchdown:interception ration falls to 11:10 and his yards per attempt drops from 7.0 to 6.5. He also benefited from many dropped interceptions. On the flip side, the first-year player stood strong under a near-constant rush and had the defending champs in the playoff picture for much of the season. There is little doubt that management will be looking for 2016 first-round pick Paxton Lynch to give Siemian a run for his money in training camp. Siemian, who has credited former head coach Gary Kubiak for drafting him when others wouldn't, will has his future tied to the incoming staff. A key development will be whether quarterbacks coach Greg Knapp, who personally visited Siemian and worked him out before the draft, is retained. Knapp worked with lead candidate Vance Joseph under Kubiak in Houston and also runs a similar West-Coast system as another top candidate, Kyle Shanahan.

Sam Bradford QB | MIN
Vikings' Sam Bradford: Receives vote of confidence
Bradford "has earned the right to be the starting quarterback," according to coach Mike Zimmer, ESPN's Ben Goessling reports.
Bradford's trade to the Vikings prior to Week 1 caused waves across the league, and by winning his first four games at the helm, he couldn't have gotten off to a better start in Minnesota. Although the team's performance significantly fell off over the course of the campaign, Bradford was hardly the reason for that, as he not only set a new NFL record by completing 71.6 percent of his passes, but also threw for a career-high 3,877 yards. With 20 touchdowns versus just five interceptions to boot, Bradford filled the sudden void created by Teddy Bridgewater's devastating knee injury rather well, justifying Zimmer's vote of confidence in him ahead of next season, when Bridgewater's status is still to be determined.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Limited practice Friday
Tannehill (knee) was a limited participant in practice Friday, the Miami Herald reports.
The session was Tannehill's first since suffering what the report describes as "slight tears in the MCL and ACL of his left knee" back on Dec. 11. While the Dolphins have already indicated that Tannehill is not in line to play Sunday against the Steelers, there's hope that the QB might be an option in the second round of the playoffs in the event that Miami is able to defeat Pittsburgh this weekend.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Bills unwilling to pay big bucks?
ESPN's Adam Schefter believes the Bills have no intention of paying Taylor (core muscle surgery) a $15.5 million option bonus they have until March 11 to exercise.
Picking up that option would pretty much mean Taylor is the Bills' guy for the next five seasons -- at a very expensive price -- something a new coaching regime might be hesitant to commit to. We'll note that Taylor still could be a better option than anyone else the Bills could get, so you can't rule out the team working out a shorter, cap-friendlier deal just to see if he can keep improving. For now, Taylor will recover from the surgery he had this week, while the Bills have all kinds of dollars and coaching personnel to sift through this offseason.

Matt McGloin QB | KC
Raiders' Matt McGloin: Limited at practice Wednesday
The Raiders listed McGloin (left shoulder) as a limited practice participant Wednesday.
McGloin's practice participation Wednesday opens up the possibility that he could serve in a backup capacity this weekend, but in any case, it's already been announced that Connor Cook will make his first career NFL start in Saturday's playoff game against the Texans.

Tyrod Taylor QB | GB
Bills' Tyrod Taylor: Core muscle surgery on tap
Taylor is in line to undergo surgery Thursday to address a core muscle issue, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
Taylor faces a recovery period of approximately six weeks, so he'll be back to full strength well before the Bills resume on-field activities in the spring. That said, the team faces a decision this offseason with regard to the QB's future with the organization, as the Bills have until March 11 to exercise their option on Taylor's contract.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Not in line to play in Sunday's playoff game
Tannehill (knee) won't play in Sunday's wild-card game against the Steelers.
Tannehill had been hopeful for a return to practice this week, but after failing to take the practice field Wednesday, the team has elected to hand Matt Moore his fourth straight start. If Moore is able to pull off the upset victory and advance, Tannehill's practice participation the following week would likely be the best indicator of his chances of suiting up in the postseason.

Tom Savage QB | DET
Texans' Tom Savage: Out for Saturday's playoff game
Savage (concussion) has been ruled out for Saturday's playoff game against the Raiders.
This is no surprise, coming just one day after we learned Brock Osweiler will start Saturday afternoon's playoff game in place of Savage. Brandon Weeden will serve as Osweiler's backup. If Osweiler shows anything positive and the Texans should advance to the divisional round, a medically cleared Savage may not return as the starter. While he didn't make any mistakes in two-plus games as Houston's starting quarterback, the Texans' offense didn't execute appreciably better under Savage than it did Osweiler.

Tom Savage QB | DET
Texans' Tom Savage: Not in line to back up Osweiler this week
Savage remains in the NFL's concussion protocol and is not in line to back up Brock Osweiler in Saturday's playoff game against the Raiders, ESPN.com reports.
With Savage -- who was forced out of this past Sunday's regular-season finale due to a concussion -- deemed unavailable this weekend, Brandon Weeden is slated to suit up Saturday and back up Osweiler.

Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN
Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill: Iffy for Sunday's game
Coach Adam Gase acknowledged Wednesday that "unless something changes drastically in the next few days," Matt Moore will start in place of Tannehill (knee) Sunday against the Steelers, Miami Herald reports.
Tannehill, who was spotted in street clothes during Wednesday's practice sporting a brace on his left knee, will need to get some practice reps in for that prognosis to change, with his next opportunity to do so arriving Thursday. Even if he is able to take the field as the week progresses, Tannehill would still need to demonstrate adequate movement/mobility in order to be a candidate to return to action this weekend.
