Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Officially in concussion protocol
Allen is in the concussion protocol after suffering a hit during Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Patriots, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Allen suffered a helmet-to-helmet hit during Sunday's divisional contest and did not return to the game. He was replaced by Matt Barkley under center. The second-year quarterback will need to fully clear the league's five-step protocol for head injuries before reentering the starting lineup.

Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN
Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Under evaluation for injury
Trubisky went to the locker room during the first quarter of Sunday's contest versus the Vikings, Arif Hasan of The Athletic reports.
Trubisky got flushed to his left and coughed up the ball to the Vikings at the end of the play, but the turnover was nullified by a defensive penalty. The nature of his injury hasn't been released, but the Bears sent in Chase Daniel to replace Trubisky.

Marcus Mariota QB | WAS
Titans' Marcus Mariota: Three-touchdown performance
Mariota completed 18 of 27 pass attempts for 227 yards and three touchdowns in Week 4 against Atlanta. He also added three rushes for 22 yards.
Mariota jumped out to a hot start, completing 14 of his 19 first-half pass attempts, accounting for all three of his touchdowns and 189 yards. He formed a particular connection with rookie wideout A.J. Brown, delivering touchdowns of 55 and 11 yards to him. With the Titans in command of the game throughout the second half, the team focused on running the ball, slowing Mariota's big performance. Still, his effort -- and the team's victory -- should keep him under center for the foreseeable future and ahead of Ryan Tannehill on the depth chart. Mariota will look to build on the performance in Week 5 against Buffalo.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Browns' Baker Mayfield: Takes back seat to running game
Mayfield completed 20 of 30 passes for 342 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's 40-25 win over Baltimore. He added one rushing yard on three carries.
Mayfield hit Ricky Seals-Jones for a nine-yard touchdown in the first quarter as part of a first half in which he threw for 208 yards but led the team to only 10 points. Cleveland's offense shifted to a more run-heavy approach in the second half, with Nick Chubb rumbling for three touchdowns and Dontrell Hilliard adding another. Mayfield did most of his damage targeting Jarvis Landry -- who left the game with a concussion after catching eight balls for 167 yards -- but look for him to shift his focus back to Odell Beckham against the 49ers in Week 5 after the pair connected on only two of seven targets for 20 yards in this one.

Kyle Allen QB | BUF
Panthers' Kyle Allen: Survives three fumbles
Allen completed 24 of 34 passes for 232 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Panthers' 16-10 win over the Texans on Sunday. He also lost three fumbles.
Christian McCaffrey accounted for the Panthers' only touchdown with a three-yard rush shortly before halftime, yet Allen did enough through the air to keep the Texans honest and overcome his three fumbles. The second-year quarterback took three sacks and officially was hit five times overall, but he hung tough and ultimately helped lead two shorter fourth-quarter scoring drives, the second aided by a short field after a turnover. Allen connected with six different pass catchers on the afternoon, and he relied an inordinate amount on McCaffrey, who proved an excellent outlet option on 10 occasions. Allen has plenty to clean up in terms of ball security, but he should continue under center in a Week 5 home tilt against the Jaguars with Cam Newton (foot) expected to miss that contest.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: Removed in favor of rookie
Keenum was pulled from Sunday's road game against the Giants for rookie signal-caller Dwayne Haskins, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
Keenum directed four drives before his removal, throwing an interception before the Redskins punted on the next three possessions. Overall, he completed six of 11 passes for 37 yards and the aforementioned pick. It remains to be seen if the change from Keenum to Haskins will last into Week 5 and beyond, as Colt McCoy is back to full health but was a healthy scratch Sunday.
-
Colt McCoy QB | ARI
Redskins' Colt McCoy: Held out Sunday
McCoy (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday at the Giants.
McCoy got through a full week of practice for the first time since early August, but the Redskins won't test their luck with the veteran quarterback. Earlier in the week, there seemed to be a chance he'd get a spot start with Case Keenum in a walking boot, but Keenum himself ditched it and will continue to lead the offense. Behind Keenum, rookie Dwayne Haskins is serving as the team's backup signal-caller.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Suiting up Sunday
Stafford (hip) is active for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Stafford dealt with hip discomfort that grew worse as Week 4 prep went on, resulting in a limited practice Friday and questionable designation for this contest. Schefter's source further relayed, "This is the closest he's probably been to not playing, but he's planning on going." The statement is referencing Stafford's consecutive start streak, which reaches 132 on Sunday.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Slated for tests Monday
Darnold, who has been dealing with a case of mononucleosis, is slated to undergo tests on his spleen Monday, Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports.
Per the report, if the test results are favorable, the QB can resume practicing and working out. If that's the case, Darnold, whose physical activity has been limited through his recovery, will have a chance to return to action as soon as Week 5's contest against the Eagles.
