Graham Gano gets one attempt
Panthers kicker Graham Gano had just one field goal attempt against San Francisco.
The Panthers were held to just 10 points during the game, so Gano had few chances to pick up points. He was able to make his only field goal, which traveled 24 yards. The team chose to go for it on fourth down from the 1 yard line early in the game, which prevented Gano from picking up more points. He also hit his only extra point attempt.

Shayne Graham lays goose egg in Seattle
When your best moment is an onside kick, you know it's a tough day. And it was a tough day Saturday in Seattle for Saints placekicker Shayne Graham, though the gusting wind was certainly a factor.
Graham missed two field goal attempts. The first just missed left from 45 yards out in the first quarter, but it must be pointed out that the holder placed the laces forward. His second attempt was way off from 48 yards and proved to be a key miss in the fourth quarter.
He did squib an onside kick that his team recovered with time running out, but it did not result in the completion of a comeback.
