Wil Lutz K | DEN
Saints' Wil Lutz: Perfect in Week 8
Lutz made two field goals and two extra points in Sunday's 20-12 win against the Bears.
While an underrated Chicago defense kept the Saints offense relatively in check for most of the afternoon, Lutz's 49-yard kick with just over a minute to go in the game provided the final margin of victory in New Orleans. The Georgia State product also added a 45-yard field goal earlier in the fourth quarter. Averaging over 27 points per game, the Saints once again feature a top-10 offense, which continues to provide Lutz a high weekly floor in most fantasy leagues.

Connor Barth K | CHI
Bears' Connor Barth: Misses another field goal
Barth connected on two of three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Saints.
Barth missed a field goal that would have given the Bears a much better chance of winning, although he did post six points overall. He's missed four of his last 10 kicks, and it wouldn't surprise anyone if Chicago started holding kicker tryouts in the near future. Otherwise, with seven field goals in eight games, he continues to be a weak fantasy option.

Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Eight points in win
Boswell hit both field-goal attempts (34, 38) and both extra-point conversions in Pittsburgh's 20-15 win over Detroit.
Boswell heads into the bye week successful on 18 of 20 field goals (90 percent) and is perfect on 15 point after attempts. Since joining the Steelers in Week 5 of the 2015 season, Boswell has made 68 of 77 field goals (88 percent) and 77 of 78 extra points, making him an attractive fantasy option each week.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Makes all six kicks Sunday
Fairbairn made his lone field-goal attempt and was five of five on extra-point kicks in Sunday's 41-38 loss to the Seahawks.
While Fairbairn remained perfect on field-goal attempts this season, his 11 attempts through seven games are in the bottom half. The Texans' offense has been adept at finishing drives in 2017, so we're not expecting a repeat of the 41 field-goal attempts last season's kicker, Nick Novak, was granted.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: Makes all three kicks
Gano (knee) converted his lone field-goal attempt and both his extra-point tries en route to five points in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Buccaneers.
Gano has been dealing with a knee issue lately, but that hasn't caused him to miss any game action to date. Although Carolina's offensive struggles have limited him to eight points over the last two weeks, Gano still has only missed one field goal and one extra point all season.

Zane Gonzalez K | MIA
Browns' Zane Gonzalez: Kicking job on thin ice
Gonzalez converted one of two field-goal attempts and one of two extra-point tries in Sunday's 33-16 loss to the Vikings. After the game, Browns head coach Hue Jackson wouldn't commit to Gonzalez as the team's kicker for the Week 9 matchup with the Lions and suggested that Cleveland would likely work out some other kickers in the coming days, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Gonzalez entered Sunday's contest with limited job security after converting just six of nine field goals through the Browns' first seven games and did little to regain the confidence of the coaching staff. After misfiring on the extra-point try when the Browns scored the game's first touchdown, Gonzalez sent a 35-yard field-goal attempt wide left in the third quarter, leaving the team with nothing to show for from a 71-yard kickoff return from Matthew Dayes. It's possible Gonzalez sticks around as the Browns' kicker if none of the competitors stand out in tryouts this week, but his fantasy ceiling would nonetheless remain limited while he's supported by one of the NFL's weakest offenses.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: Active Sunday
Gano (knee) is listed as active Sunday in Tampa Bay.
The release of the Panthers' list of inactives only confirms what was expected after Roberto Aguayo wasn't promoted from the practice squad by 4:00 PM ET on Saturday. Prior to Week 7's meager three-point showing, Gano was afforded plenty of opportunity in the first six games of the campaign, ranging between seven and 11 points per week.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: Should be in for Week 8
Gano (knee) is set to serve as the Panthers' placekicker for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Gano is listed as questionable for Sunday's game due to a knee injury, but the Panthers' decision not to activate fellow kicker Roberto Aguayo from the practice squad before Saturday's 4:00 p.m. EDT deadline for roster changes implies Carolina expects Gano to be ready to go. The Panthers likely wouldn't make Gano active if the injury presented any complications with his kicking, so fantasy owners can probably feel comfortable with keeping him in their lineups this week.

Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Chips in double-digit points again
Tucker converted all four of his extra-point attempts Thursday and went 2-for-3 on field goals in a win over the Dolphins.
Tucker's lone blemish wasn't necessarily his fault as Miami was able to generate a great push up front to block his 46-yard attempt in the third quarter. He still managed to end the night with 10 total points and Tucker also notched a 50-plus yard field goal for the third week in a row. Tucker has officially rounded back into his All-Pro form over the last month, but owners will want to take note that his bye week is coming up after Baltimore's Week 9 clash with Tennessee.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Panthers' Graham Gano: Expected to face Bucs
Gano (knee) is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, Max Henson of the Panthers' official site reports.
Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Gano missed Friday's practice due to an illness rather than his knee injury. The veteran kicker was a full practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, suggesting he should be fine for Sunday's game unless there's some kind of setback over the weekend.
