The Rays activated Walls (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Walls got a late start to the season due to a right oblique strain, but he's been cleared to return to action after playing in some extended spring training contests. The slick-fielding Walls should take over as the Rays' primary shortstop, though the club will want to give Ben Williamson some reps at the position as well.

Wrobleski is slated to start Monday's game against the Blue Jays in Toronto.

Manager Dave Roberts said last week that Wrobleski would be moved from the bullpen to draw a start during the team's ongoing road trip, and the skipper ultimately settled on slotting the lefty in for Monday's series opener in Toronto. The Dodgers are expected to transition from a five- to six-man rotation moving forward, so a strong showing against the Blue Jays would keep Wrobleski well positioned to earn additional starts. Los Angeles will eventually get Blake Snell (shoulder) back from the injured list, but since Snell's return isn't imminent, Wrobleski could end up getting a fair amount of leash in the rotation.

The Rays optioned Williams to Triple-A Durham on Monday.

Williams went just 3-for-23 with a 1:9 BB:K at the plate through his first seven games this season and has an untenable 40.5 percent strikeout rate so far at the major-league level. With Taylor Walls (oblique) returning from the injured list, the Rays will give Williams some additional seasoning in the minors.

Littell is slated to start Monday's game against the Cardinals in Washington.

Perhaps in an effort to manage Littell's workload after his late signing in spring training, the Nationals used the right-hander in bulk relief behind an opener in his team debut last Tuesday in Philadelphia. Littell covered five innings and 75 pitches in that appearance, so he should now be stretched out enough to handle a typical starter's workload Monday versus St. Louis.

Made went 4-for-5 with a home run, three runs, a walk and a stolen base in a game with Double-A Biloxi on Sunday.

Made went 1-for-10 over his first two games of the 2026 season, but it did not take him long to provide a reminder that he is one of the best prospects in baseball. He is playing full-time at Double-A, but one month shy of his 19th birthday it remains most likely he will not reach the majors until 2027.

Sandoval (elbow) did not make his scheduled rehab start for Double-A Portland on Sunday, because the game was postponed due to weather, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports. The left-hander will now start Wednesday for Triple-A Worcester.

Sandoval is returning from an internal brace procedure that he underwent in 2024 and prevented him from pitching in 2025. The Red Sox will eventually need to decide on a role for Sandoval. Connolly Early is currently the fifth member of the team's rotation, and it's possible that Sandoval works as a long reliever.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with an RBI double Sunday in the Orioles' 8-2 loss to the PIrates.

After leaving the Mets over the winter and joining the Orioles on a five-year, $155 million deal, Alonso has gotten off to a slow start to his time in Baltimore. The veteran first baseman has struck out at a career-worst 33.3 percent clip through his first nine games, which has played a large part in limiting the career .253 hitter to a .229 batting average thus far. The low average would be more palatable if Alonso were hitting for power, but his double in Sunday's game was just his second extra-base hit of the campaign. Alonso's average exit velocity and hard-hit rate place him in the 93rd and 90th percentile, respectively, of all players in the early going, so fantasy managers should have some hope that the five-time All-Star eventually turns things around.

Patrick is listed as the Brewers' probable starting pitcher for Wednesday's game in Boston, Chris Henrique of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

The right-hander appears set to make his third start of the season on just three days' rest, after he most recently tossed five shutout innings Saturday in the Brewers' 5-2 win over the Royals in Game 1 of a doubleheader. With that in mind, the Brewers could look to once again keep Patrick's workload in check Wednesday before turning the game over to the bullpen; he tossed just 74 and 86 pitches in his first two starts. If that ends up being the case, Patrick may need to work efficiently against the Red Sox in order to cover the five innings he would need to hit to qualify for a win.

Fernandez served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Fernandez was likely a popular free-agent addition in fantasy leagues following his MLB debut March 31, when he homered twice in a win over the Tigers. Since then, the 22-year-old has gone 1-for-12; however, he should stick around with the team and could see more opportunities after first baseman Carlos Santana (groin) was removed from Sunday's contest. Fernandez has appeared in five games (four starts) since his call-up, twice at first base and once each at third, shortstop and DH.

Carroll went 3-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Atlanta.

Carroll, who broke a three-game hitless streak, contributed to the win in multiple ways. The stolen base was the first of the season for the outfielder, who's stolen at least 32 bags in the three previous seasons. The triple was his second, putting him on a path for a fourth consecutive campaign with double-digit triples.
