The Guardians optioned Dion to Triple-A Columbus on Friday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Dion logged three appearances during his most recent stint with the big club, yielding two runs with a 7:0 K:BB over 4.1 innings. He'll be replaced on the roster by Tim Herrin (elbow), who is back from the injured list.

The Guardians optioned Schneemann to Triple-A Columbus on Friday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Schneemann had been with the Guardians all season, but he's slashed just .155/.222/.213 since May 1. His roster spot will be filled by Angel Martinez (foot), who is back from the injured list.

Walls (fingers) is out of the lineup for Friday's matchup against the Guardians.

Walls will miss his second consecutive game after hyperextending his middle and ring fingers on his left hand in Wednesday's matchup against Toronto. Ben Williamson will once again man shortstop and bat eighth for Tampa Bay.

The Guardians activated Herrin (elbow) from the 15-day injured list Friday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Herrin required only a minimum absence while working his way back from a left elbow contusion. He'll slide back into a left-handed setup role.

Kwan is absent from the Guardians lineup for Friday's series opener against the Rays.

Despite picking up at least one hit in nine of his last 10 games, Kwan will ride the bench Friday. David Fry will take over in left field and bat fifth for Cleveland.

The Guardians activated Martinez (foot) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Martinez is returning from a six-week absence caused by a fractured left foot. He went 5-for-12 with a home run in four rehab games and will start in right field and bat leadoff in Friday's series opener in Tampa Bay.

Ramirez is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Rays.

Ramirez started the last two contests upon his activation from the injured list, but he will get a breather Friday as the Guardians ease their star back into things. Gabriel Arias will cover third base.

The Phillies moved Keller (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Keller suffered a brutal blow July 16, tearing his UCL just eight days after returning from the injured list with a forearm injury. The 30-year-old will now officially miss the rest of the 2026 season and potentially the 2027 season if he elects to get surgery to repair his UCL. The Phillies selected Payton Henry's contract from Triple-A Lehigh Valley to take over Keller's spot on the 40-man roster.
