Altuve went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-4 loss to the Cardinals.

Altuve took Kyle Leahy deep in the bottom of the fifth inning to pull Houston within one run. After batting .378 through the first 11 games of the season, Altuve is 8-for-38 (.211) over his last nine games. Altuve's homer Friday was his first RBI in that span. The second baseman is slashing .293/.404/.493 with three home runs, seven RBI, 15 runs scored, one stolen base and a 14:17 BB:K across 89 trips to the plate.

Lambert (0-1) took the loss Friday against the Cardinals, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk with eight strikeouts across five innings.

Lambert had his contract selected from Triple-A Sugar Land earlier in the day Friday and made his first major-league start in nearly two full calendar years. He spent the 2025 season pitching in Japan before signing with Houston this past winter. Lambert had the Cardinals off balance with his changeup in particular and averaged 95.2 mph with his four-seamer. The right-hander likely showed enough to warrant another start with Houston's pitching staff depleted by injuries. Lambert is lined up to face the Guardians in Cleveland next week.

Mayza allowed one hit and no walks in two scoreless innings Friday against Atlanta.

After giving up three earned runs his last time out versus the Cubs, Mayza got right back on track Friday with his eighth scoreless outing of the season already. While the southpaw has just one hold in 2026, he's proven to be very capable out of the bullpen while posting a 2.45 ERA, 0.64 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB through 11 frames.

Wetherholt went 1-for-3 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch and three runs scored in Friday's 9-4 win over the Astros.

Wetherholt reached base three times and came around to score on all three occasions. The rookie second baseman has struggled to hit for extra bases early on this season, as he has just one double and three home runs, but Wetherholt is getting on base atop the St. Louis lineup. He's slashing .232/.368/.377 with nine RBI, 16 runs scored, four stolen bases and a 13:14 BB:K across his first 87 career plate appearances.

Harper went 3-for-4 with a triple in Friday's 9-0 loss to Atlanta.

The three-bagger was Harper's first of the season and the 25th of his career. After starting the season in a 2-for-20 cold spell during March, the All-Star first baseman is tearing the cover off the ball in April. Over 50 at-bats on the month so far, Harper is batting .360 with 10 extra-base hits, nine RBI, eight walks and one stolen base.

Loperfido was pulled from Friday's game against the Cardinals due to right quad tightness, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Loperfido went 0-for-3 with a strikeout before being taken out of the game at the start of the seventh inning. Brice Matthews entered as the 26-year-old's replacement and could get more reps in left field if Loperfido has to miss any amount of time.

Mitchell went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Friday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Marlins.

Mitchell got the scoring started with a single in the fourth inning before coming up clutch with a two-run double in the 10th. The 27-year-old is off to an impressive start, slashing .289/.439/.444 with five extra-base hits, 16 RBI, six runs scored and three steals across 58 plate appearances.

Burleson went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Friday's 9-4 win over the Astros.

Burleson singled in the first inning, walked in the third and doubled and scored in the seventh. After seeing his average dip all the way to .216 after an 0-for-4 day on April 6, Burleson has five multi-hit games in his last nine contests and is 13-for-35 (.371) in that span. On the season, Burleson is slashing .292/.388/.431 with two homers, 14 RBI, eight runs scored, one stolen base and a 12:9 BB:K across 85 plate appearances.

Paredes was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals due to leg tightness, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Paredes entered the game as a pinch hitter in the fourth inning but was later taken out of the game himself when his leg began to bother him in the eighth. If he ends up needing to sit out Saturday's contest as well, Nick Allen would presumably get the nod at shortstop.

Bauers went 3-for-4 with a walk, three runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Marlins.

Bauers was a thorn in the Marlins' side all game, reaching base four times and notching his third steal of the season. It marked the first three-hit effort of the season for the 30-year-old, who's now slashing .254/.333/.525 with five homers, 13 RBI and 13 runs scored across 66 plate appearances. While he may sit against most lefties, Bauers should continue to see plenty of opportunities with injuries piling up for the Brewers.
