  • Diamondbacks' Andrew Velazquez: Joins Diamondbacks

Velazquez signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Velazquez hasn't appeared in a professional game since the regular season began, but he'll get a chance with the Diamondbacks. He should serve as organizational infield depth at Triple-A Reno.

  • Brad Keller SP | PHI

Phillies' Brad Keller: Tosses scoreless ninth inning

Keller walked one in a hitless and scoreless ninth inning Saturday in a loss to Atlanta. He struck out one.

Considering closer Jhoan Duran (oblique) hit the injured list Saturday, Keller's usage in the ninth inning of a 3-1 game is noteworthy. Duran will miss at least two weeks of action, and Keller appears initially to be worthy of a speculative add for fantasy managers in search of saves. Keller has four holds through his first 8.2 innings, registering a 4.15 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB.

  • Alec Burleson LF | STL

Cardinals' Alec Burleson: Homers in win

Burleson went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Astros.

Burleson came on late, launching a solo homer in the seventh inning before adding a double in the ninth. The 27-year-old is on a six-game hitting streak, a stretch that includes five multi-hit efforts and five extra-base hits. On the year, he's slashing an impressive .299/.389/.481 with three home runs, 15 RBI, nine runs scored and a stolen base across 90 plate appearances.

  • Cole Young SS | SEA

Mariners' Cole Young: Swipes first bag in win

Young went 2-for-3 with a walk, two RBI, one run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Rangers.

Young came on strong late, driving in two runs, stealing his first base of the season and scoring a run, all in the eighth inning. The 22-year-old has now hit safely in three straight games after going hitless in his previous four. On the season, he's slashing .243/.349/.378 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base across 86 plate appearances.

  • Luke Raley RF | SEA

Mariners' Luke Raley: Homers in win

Raley went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two additional runs scored in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Rangers.

Raley scored a season-high three runs, highlighted by a solo homer in the sixth inning. It continued a torrid start to the season for the 31-year-old, who's now slashing .318/.375/.636 with 10 extra-base hits, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored across 72 plate appearances while starting exclusively against right-handed pitching.

  • Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX

Rangers' Nathan Eovaldi: Goes five innings in loss

Eovaldi (2-3) took the loss against the Mariners on Saturday, allowing four runs (two earned) on eight hits and one walk with three strikeouts over five innings.

The 36-year-old allowed runs in the first, fourth and sixth innings, including a solo homer by Luke Raley to open the sixth. While it was a step back from his stellar performance Monday, Eovaldi has yielded just four earned runs across his last three starts after surrendering 11 earned runs in his first two outings this season. He'll carry a 5.06 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB across 26.2 innings into a home matchup against the Athletics next weekend.

  • Rays' Junior Caminero: RBI double in win Saturday

Caminero went 2-for-7 with an RBI double in Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

Paul Skenes was mowing down the Rays through four innings, but a rain delay of two hours and 27 minutes in the bottom of the fourth forced Skenes from the game. The Rays immediately scored five runs following the delay, and Caminero got the scoring started with an RBI double. The third baseman has hit safely in seven of his last eight games and is now slashing .250/.344/.438 with four home runs, nine RBI, 10 runs scored and a 12:17 BB:K across 93 trips to the plate.

  • George Kirby SP | SEA

Mariners' George Kirby: Battles for third win

Kirby (3-2) earned the win against the Rangers on Saturday, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks with five strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Kirby opened with five scoreless frames despite laboring at times and departed an out shy of a quality start after allowing a run in the sixth. It marked the first time in five outings that the 28-year-old failed to complete six innings, and he's yielded three earned runs or fewer in four of those contests. Kirby has a 2.97 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 27:8 K:BB across 33.1 innings and is slated to face the Cardinals on the road next weekend.

  • Kyle Tucker RF | LAD

Dodgers' Kyle Tucker: Crushes third homer in loss

Tucker went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to Colorado.

Tucker pushed his hitting streak up to four games in the first inning -- his third homer of 2026 and his 150th career long ball -- also recording three hits for the second time this year. The All-Star outfielder is off to a solid yet unspectacular start by his lofty standards, slashing .260/.356/.403 with five extra-base hits, 13 RBI, 12 walks and three stolen bases across 90 plate appearances.

  • Rays' Cedric Mullins: Hits extra-innings homer in win

Mullins went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Pirates.

Mullins singled home Jonny DeLuca in the fifth inning and later delivered the eventual game-winning homer with a two-run shot to break a 6-6 tie in the top of the 13th. It was Mullins' second homer of the season. The veteran has had a rough go of things at the plate in his first season with the Rays, slashing .149/.205/.284 with just four extra-base hits, eight RBI, seven runs scored, three stolen bases and a 3:16 BB:K across 75 plate appearances.
