The Padres placed Cronenworth on the 7-day concussion injured list Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

It has not been revealed when or how Cronenworth suffered a concussion. The veteran infielder has had a rough season thus far with an OPS of just .498 and a .077/.200./.077 slash line over the last seven days as of Tuesday. The Padres recalled Sung-Mun Song in a corresponding move.

Sproat and the Brewers won't play the Cardinals on Tuesday, as the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

The two sides will play a doubleheader July 7 to make up for Tuesday's contest, and Sproat will likely get the nod to start Wednesday's series finale. The 25-year-old has struggled to begin his time with the Brewers, posting a 6.75 ERA and 1.61 WHIP through his first 26.2 innings.

Fernandez isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Fernandez will get a breather after going 1-for-9 with a walk and a run scored during Arizona's latest series against the Cubs. His absence will allow Adrian Del Castillo to work as the designated hitter while batting fourth.

D'Arnaud is not in the lineup Tuesday versus the White Sox.

D'Arnaud went 2-for-3 in the series opener against the White Sox on Monday. The catcher will get some rest Tuesday night before a likely start in Wednesday's day game. Sebastian Rivero will start behind the plate and is batting eighth Tuesday.

The Angels reinstated Yates (knee) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

Yates spent the first five-plus weeks of the season on the shelf due to left knee inflammation, but he's ready to join the Angels after a four-outing rehab assignment. The veteran right-hander surrendered seven runs in his first three rehab appearances but bounced back with a scoreless frame in his final outing. Yates should be in the mix at closer for the Angels, especially since Jordan Romano was cut loose in late April.

The Angels optioned Saucedo to Triple-A Salt Lake on Tuesday.

Saucedo gave up one earned run while striking out two batters over two-thirds of an inning during his lone appearance after getting selected from Triple-A on Sunday. He'll now head back to the minors, though the fact that he still has a 40-man roster spot will make it easier for him to return to Anaheim at some point. Kirby Yates (knee) was reinstated from the IL in a corresponding move.

The Astros reinstated Allen (back) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

It was thought Allen may not return until later in May, but he's set to start at third base and is batting ninth versus the Dodgers on Tuesday. The infielder was shut down April 20 due to back spasms that had kept him out of the lineup in the few days prior. As part of a series of roster moves Tuesday, the Astros placed Yainer Diaz on the 10-day IL with a left oblique strain.

A left oblique strain caused Diaz to be scratched from the lineup ahead of Monday's contest and will now also prevent him from playing for another 10 days. Christian Vazquez will presumably take over as the Astros' primary catcher while Diaz is on the shelf, and Nick Allen (back) will come off the injured list to claim the open roster spot.

Anthony was diagnosed with a sprained right wrist after undergoing an MRI on Tuesday and may not require a trip to the injured list, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

The 21-year-old was removed from Monday's game in Detroit due to the injury and returned to Boston on Tuesday to visit a hand specialist, who apparently provided an encouraging diagnosis. Anthony is no longer with the team in Detroit, so the soonest he could rejoin the lineup would be Thursday, when the Red Sox return home for the start of a four-game series with the Rays.

The Astros recalled Dezenzo (elbow) from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Julia Morales of Space City Home Network reports.

Dezenzo is returning from a right elbow sprain he suffered while playing in the World Baseball Classic for Team Italy. He was activated off the 10-day injured list Monday but was promptly optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land. The outfielder is not in the lineup versus the Dodgers on Tuesday, so he may have to wait to see his first MLB action of the season. In a corresponding move, Dustin Harris was designated for assignment.
