Toronto recalled Macko from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.

The Blue Jays needed to fill a bullpen spot with Tommy Nance (forearm) landing on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move. If Macko sees game action at any point during his call-up, he'll be making his MLB debut. The lefty has appeared in 13 games with Buffalo this season, posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 18 innings.

The Blue Jays placed Nance on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to right forearm discomfort.

Nance tossed a clean inning with one strikeout Saturday versus Detroit, but he appears to have come away from that outing with a sore forearm. The right-hander has been working primarily in low-leverage situations for Toronto, notching one hold while posting a 3.86 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 25:8 K:BB over 21 innings spanning 20 appearances. Lefty reliever Adam Macko was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday to take Nance's spot in the big-league bullpen.

The Pirates reinstated Mangum (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

The 30-year-old landed on the shelf in early May due to a strained left hamstring, but he's rejoining the Pirates on Sunday after a brief stint on the shelf. Mangum has a .260/.333/.288 slash line with no homers, five steals, three RBI and 13 runs in his first 30 games of the season, and he could take over as Pittsburgh's primary right fielder with Ryan O'Hearn (quadriceps) going to the IL.

The Pirates placed O'Hearn on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a right quadriceps strain.

O'Hearn exited Saturday's contest due to right quadriceps discomfort and will now be sidelined until at least the middle of next week after being diagnosed with a strain. The severity of the injury has yet to be disclosed, so it's unclear how long the 32-year-old will actually be sidelined. Jake Mangum (hamstring) was activated from the IL in a corresponding move and figures to pick up the bulk of the available playing time in the outfield while O'Hearn is out.

Pena (hamstring/neck) could be reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's game at Minnesota, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The 28-year-old shortstop resumed his rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi on Friday after neck soreness forced him to miss a couple games earlier in the week, and he could rejoin the Astros on Monday for the start of a 10-game road trip. Pena, who has been on the IL for a month due to a hamstring strain, has gone 2-for-11 with two doubles in three contests during the rehab stint.

Durbin is not in Boston's starting lineup Sunday versus Atlanta, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

Durbin will get a breather amidst a rough start to May, as he's batting just .150 through 14 games so far this month. Nick Sogard is starting at third base Sunday for the Red Sox.

Mack is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.

Mack started the first two games of the series in Tampa Bay but will take a seat Sunday after going 1-for-8 with a run and five strikeouts. Liam Hicks is stepping behind the plate in the series finale while Christopher Morel picks up a start at first base.

Finnegan allowed a solo home run and a walk in an inning of relief in Saturday's 2-1, 10-inning loss to the Blue Jays.

Finnegan came on in the seventh inning with Detroit up 1-0 but promptly served up a game-tying home run to Yohendrick Pinango. That gave Finnegan his third blown save in his last four outings, although none of them have come in the ninth inning. The righty reliever started the year with 11 straight scoreless appearances, and he's got a stellar 1.66 ERA overall, but he has allowed three earned runs over that four-game skid.

Vierling went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1, 10-inning loss to the Blue Jays.

Vierling opened the scoring with his third home run of the season in the sixth inning, but Detroit was unable to muster any more offense in the narrow defeat. The utility player hasn't done much offensively this year with a .213/.281/.380 slash line through 37 games, though he has seen an uptick in playing time in center field with Parker Meadows (arm) and Javier Baez (ankle) both on the injured list at the moment.

Amaya went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 loss to the White Sox.

Amaya batted ninth and provided a small jolt in the sixth inning when he launched his third home run of the year, though the Cubs already trailed 7-0 at that point. The 27-year-old catcher is in a clear backup role to Carson Kelly at the moment, which limits his overall fantasy upside, but Amaya can provide some offense when given the opportunity to start.
