Munoz allowed a run on two hits and struck out one without walking a batter over one inning, taking a blown save in Friday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.

Munoz wasn't able to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning, but he didn't let Arizona get ahead. The Mariners then walked it off in the 10th. Munoz has allowed a run in each of his last two outings and has converted just one of his last three save chances as his early struggles have continued in the middle part of the campaign. He's at a 4.98 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 34:7 K:BB through 21.2 innings while converting just nine of 13 save chances. While Munoz has struggled, manager Dan Wilson has largely stuck by his closer -- Jose Ferrer (three) is the only other reliever with multiple saves on the team.

Kirby allowed four runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four over 5.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Kirby was pitching well until Arizona's bats got to him in the sixth inning. He's now allowed 15 runs (13 earned) across 17 innings over his last three starts after a stretch of six outings in which he allowed two runs or fewer. Overall, Kirby has a 3.77 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 59:17 K:BB through 74 innings over 12 starts this season. He'll look to right the ship in a home start versus the Mets next week.

Bolte went 3-for-4 in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Yankees.

Bolte wasn't able to generate any runs, but he did his part at the plate. The outfielder's three hits were a new career high in a single game after he logged a trio of two-hit efforts in his first 14 contests. He's batting .319 with a .762 OPS, four RBI, three runs scored, two doubles and four stolen bases through 55 plate appearances, but he's still searching for his first big-league homer. There's still some long-term swing-and-miss concern, but he's struck out at a modest 20.0 percent rate so far in the majors while making enough contact to emerge as a starting option in center field.

Kurtz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Yankees.

Kurtz had gone 12 contests without a homer and three games without a hit entering Friday. He ended both droughts with a long ball in the first inning off Carlos Rodon, though that was only to cut the Athletics' deficit to 4-1 after a rough first inning saw A's starting pitcher Luis Severino (arm) leave the game. Kurtz hasn't displayed as much power early this year as he did in 2025, but when he has, he's done it in bunches. The first baseman is batting .274 with a .900 OPS, 38 RBI, 36 runs scored, six stolen bases, nine homers, 11 doubles and a triple over 56 games.

McMahon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 8-2 win over the Athletics.

McMahon continues to heat up -- he's gone 7-for-25 (.280) with three homers and six RBI over his last seven games. The third baseman is now hitting .200 with a .613 OPS, 19 RBI, 15 runs scored, four doubles and three stolen bases over 158 plate appearances this season. As long as he's hitting well, he should maintain a strong-side platoon role at the hot corner.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday's 8-2 win over the Athletics.

Goldschmidt has gone 6-for-19 over his last four games, adding four RBI. The first baseman is up to six homers on the year, five of which have come over his last 19 contests, a span in which he's batting .313 (20-for-64). He's hitting .262 with an .871 OPS on the year, and he's added 18 RBI, 18 runs scored, six doubles and a triple through 32 games. While Giancarlo Stanton (calf) and Jasson Dominguez (shoulder) are both out, the Yankees have plenty of room to keep both Goldschmidt and Ben Rice in the lineup on an everyday basis.

Rice went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, two doubles, two total RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 8-2 win over the Athletics.

Rice is locked in with three straight multi-hit efforts, each including at least one extra-base hit. He's added six RBI in that span as well. The 27-year-old has gone 20-for-67 (.299) over his last 16 contests, and he's batting .303 with a 1.047 OPS, 17 homers, 39 RBI, 42 runs scored, 13 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 52 games this season. Rice established himself last year, but he's in the midst of a full-on breakout campaign in 2026.

Rodon (1-2) allowed a run on four hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Friday.

Rodon picked up his first win and first quality start of the season, throwing 56 of 93 pitches for strikes. The lone run against him came on a Nick Kurtz solo shot in the first inning. Rodon has been shaking off the rust after offseason elbow surgery, but he's given up just one run in each of his last two outings. He's at a 3.32 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 20:13 K:BB through 19 innings, so getting that lofty walk total under control will be his next order of business. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Guardians.

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Dodgers.

Schwarber's blast got the Phillies on the board in the sixth inning, but it didn't turn into a comeback rally. He continues to lead the majors with 22 homers, and he has two long balls over seven games since he recovered from an illness. The veteran slugger is batting .238 with a .963 OPS, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored and a stolen base across 54 contests this season.

Wheeler (4-1) allowed four runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over six innings to take the loss versus the Dodgers on Friday.

Wheeler gave up four solo home runs in the contest. He gave up one in each of the first three innings and another in the fifth frame. The right-hander avoided putting too much other traffic on the bases to limit the damage, but the Phillies' offense didn't bail him out. Prior to this outing, Wheeler had given up just one homer in his first six starts of the campaign. He's at a 2.27 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 40:9 K:BB through 43.2 innings and, outside of the home run barrage Friday, looks to be in ace form after returning from a shoulder injury. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Padres.
