Marte went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI during the Diamondbacks' 10-6 loss to the Marlins on Tuesday.

Marte matched a season high with three RBI in Tuesday's loss, two of which came on a single in the eighth to reduce the Diamondbacks' deficit to 6-5. It was also the fifth game of at least three hits for Marte, and it could be the spark he needs to turn things around at the plate after he went 2-for-34 in his nine games prior to Tuesday. He is slashing .253/.305/.450 with 11 home runs and 40 RBI over 272 plate appearances this season.

Cruz earned the save Tuesday against Cleveland, tossing 1.2 scoreless innings with four strikeouts and a walk as New York held on for a 3-2 win.

With David Bednar having worked the previous two nights, Cruz was summoned in the eighth inning with one out and two runners aboard after Jake Bird ran into trouble -- Cruz immediately extinguished the threat by retiring the next two hitters. The right-hander returned for the ninth, and after issuing a leadoff walk, settled in by striking out the next three batters to secure the win. The outing was a reflection of the season Cruz has put together, as he has now held opponents scoreless in 13 of his last 14 appearances and sports a 1.84 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 37:15 K:BB across 29.1 innings. Cruz has earned additional save chances whenever Bednar is unavailable.

Gallen did not factor into the decision Tuesday against Miami. He allowed four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three across 5.1 innings.

It was the second straight start in which Gallen gave up nine hits. He's also given up at least four earned runs in three consecutive outings and in six of his last eight starts. Over 69.2 innings, the veteran right-hander has a 5.43 ERA and 1.55 WHIP, both of which are worst in the National League among qualified starters in 2026. Gallen's next start is slated for this weekend on the road against the Reds.

Greene went 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Twins.

Greene ended a mini 0-for-7 slump over his previous two games with his seventh home run of the season in an easy Detroit win. The star outfielder is batting .316 over his last 10 contests with three long balls, five runs scored and six RBI. It looks like Greene is hitting his stride as he continues to drive the offense for the Tigers, and he remains a top-flight fantasy option.

Edwards went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored during the Marlins' 10-6 win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Edwards got the Marlins on a board with an RBI single in the first inning before adding another run in the third on a sacrifice fly. It was his third multi-RBI game of the season and the first RBI he's logged since May 29 against the Mets. Edwards is slashing .306/.391/.456 with 11 steals, six home runs and 22 RBI over 285 plate appearances this season.

Busch went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Rockies.

Busch enjoyed the thin air at Coors Field as he lifted his seventh home run of the season in the sixth inning. The Chicago first baseman has been good lately with a .342 batting average, the one long ball and six RBI across his last 10 games. Overall, Busch is now sporting a .773 OPS and has 37 RBI across 66 contests this year, which is a step back from his 2025 production level but still plenty useful.

Warren will serve as the Mets' opening pitcher in Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Chelsea Janes of SNY.tv reports.

Warren has turned in an impressive 2.01 ERA and 1.12 WHIP through 22.1 innings with the Mets this season, and the team will now entrust him with getting through the top of St. Louis' order in Wednesday's contest. The team hasn't yet announced which pitcher, if any, will work in bulk relief once Warren exits the game.

Cecconi did not factor into the decision Tuesday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven across five innings.

All of the damage against Cecconi came on a Spencer Jones two-run homer in the second inning. The right-hander didn't post a single 1-2-3 inning all outing but managed to strand runners consistently and limit the damage to just that one big swing. He's now allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven straight starts, a stretch that stands in contrast to his season-long performance (4.83 ERA, 1.44 WHIP). Cecconi is lined up to face Milwaukee on the road in his next scheduled start.

Manager Walt Weiss said after Tuesday's game against the White Sox that Acuna is day-to-day with left hamstring tightness, Barrett Sallee of 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.

Acuna went on the injured list in early May due to a left hamstring strain, though Weiss noted that his latest injury doesn't seem to be as severe. The outfielder will undergo an MRI on Wednesday just in case. Eli White entered Tuesday's contest as Acuna's replacement and could be in line for additional starts if Acuna needs to miss another game or two.

Lopez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one steal, one RBI and four runs scored during the Marlins' 10-6 win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Lopez set a season high in runs scored Tuesday while logging two doubles for the second time in 2026. He also logged his 11th steal of the season, tied with Xavier Edwards for second most on the Marlins behind Jakob Marsee (16). Lopez is having a terrific season at the plate, leading the National League in both batting average (.341) and hits (89) while ranking fourth in both triples (three) and doubles (11).
