Mick Abel P | MIN
Twins' Mick Abel: Fans career-high 10 in dominant win
Abel (1-2) earned the win Tuesday against the Red Sox, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out 10 over seven innings.
Abel turned in the best start of his young career, tossing seven scoreless innings while setting a new career high in strikeouts with 10. The right-hander was overpowering throughout, including a stretch during which he struck out five consecutive batters. After a rocky start to the season, Abel has looked dominant over his last two outings, combining for 16 strikeouts and no runs allowed across 13 innings. The 24-year-old has now lowered his season ERA to 3.98 with a 1.57 WHIP and 23:10 K:BB across 20.1 innings and will look to stay hot in his next scheduled start against a Mets lineup that has gotten off to a sluggish start offensively.

Yankees' Yerry De Los Santos: Sent back to minors
The Yankees optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.
De Los Santos was brought up from Triple-A before Tuesday's game against the Angels, and he'll now head back to the minors after giving up one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out one batter over two innings. The 28-year-old made 25 appearances for the Yankees last season and could be called upon again later in the year to provide the big club with bullpen depth.

Ryan Vilade LF | TB
Rays' Ryan Vilade: Crosses home thrice vs. White Sox
Vilade went 3-for-5 with an RBI double and three runs scored during the Rays' 8-5 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.
Vilade put the Rays on the board with an RBI double to left field in the first. He came home to score in the same frame and tallied runs in the third and seventh frames. It was Vilade's first multi-hit game of the season and first since July 14, 2024, as a member of the Tigers. It was just his fourth start of the regular season, but his versatility to play in both the infield and outfield should allow him to see the field fairly often this year.

Edmundo Sosa 3B | PHI
Phillies' Edmundo Sosa: Smashes first homer Tuesday
Sosa went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 10-4 loss to the Cubs.
Sosa blasted homer No. 1 on the campaign, taking Cubs right-hander Colin Rea deep in the second inning. While the righty-hitting infielder is stuck in a short-side platoon, he's been effective when deployed so far this season. Sosa has gone 5-for-17 (.294) with three extra-base hits, five RBI and two walks over eight games.

Ben Williamson 3B | TB
Rays' Ben Williamson: Drives in three runs Tuesday
Williamson went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored during the Rays' 8-5 win over the White Sox on Tuesday.
Williamson helped give the Rays a 3-0 lead in the first inning after his sacrifice bunt brought two of his teammates home (one scored on an error), before logging RBI doubles in the third and seventh. It was his first multi-RBI game of the season and fourth game with at least two hits, with his last taking place April 3 against the Twins. Williamson has opened the season slashing .271/.340/.354 with two steals, 11 runs scored and six RBI across 54 plate appearances.

Bryan Baker RP | TB
Rays' Bryan Baker: Collects one-out save
Baker earned the save in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the White Sox after recording the final out of the game.
The Rays held an 8-3 lead heading into the ninth, but the team turned to Baker to record the final out of the game after Yoendrys Gomez gave up a two-run homer to Munetaka Murakami, and Baker successfully closed things out by getting Edgar Quero to fly out to center field. Baker has converted three of his four save opportunities and has allowed three runs on five hits and one walk while striking out seven across 6.1 innings this season.

Sonny Gray SP | BOS
Red Sox's Sonny Gray: Knocked around during loss
Gray (2-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins, allowing five runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out one over four innings.
Gray couldn't replicate the success from his previous outing, when he tossed 6.1 scoreless innings, as Minnesota consistently squared him up from the start. The right-hander allowed at least one hit in every inning he worked, beginning with the leadoff batter in the first inning, who later came around to score. The trouble continued in the third when Byron Buxton took him deep, and the fourth inning unraveled with another homer followed by three straight singles that brought home an additional two runs. In his first season in Boston, Gray now owns a 4.43 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and an 11:4 K:BB across 20.1 innings and will look to limit the damage more efficiently in his next start, slated to come against Detroit.

Heston Kjerstad DH | BAL
Orioles' Heston Kjerstad: Resumes baseball activities
Kjerstad (hamstring) is running and participating in baseball activities, per MLB.com.
Kjerstad suffered a right hamstring strain during a March 19 Grapefruit League game, resulting in a stay on the injured list to open the season. The 27-year-old outfielder lacks a concrete timeline for a return to the field, though he'll likely need a minor-league rehab assignment before becoming an option to rejoin the Orioles.

Shane McClanahan SP | TB
Rays' Shane McClanahan: Earns first win of 2026
McClanahan (1-1) was credited with the win against the White Sox on Tuesday, allowing three runs (two earned) on two hits and four walks while striking out four across five innings.
All of the runs McClanahan gave up came in the third inning on a three-run homer from Everson Pereira, though the former ended his outing strongly by retiring the final seven batters he faced. It was the first time this season that McClanahan completed the fifth inning, and he received enough run support from his teammates to come away with his first win of 2026. Through three starts, he has a 3.95 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 13:11 K:BB across 13.2 innings. McClanahan's next start is slated for this weekend on the road against the Pirates.

Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Orioles' Andrew Kittredge: Rehab paused for paternity leave
Kittredge's (shoulder) minor-league rehab assignment has been halted due to paternity leave, per Jake Rill of MLB.com.
Through three outings for Triple-A Norfolk, Kittredge has given up one run on three hits and one walk while fanning five over 2.2 innings. The right-hander is likely to continue his assignment once he's ready to get back on the mound, so his season debut with the Orioles may not come until late April at this point.
