Tellez is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Marlins.

The left-handed-hitting Tellez will take a seat as the Marlins send southpaw Jonathan Bermudez to the hill. Connor Joe will be at first base for the Pirates in the series finale.

McCutchen is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

McCutchen slugged a three-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Marlins, but he'll get a breather in Wednesday's matinee. Bryan Reynolds will be in the designated hitter spot for the Pirates while Billy Cook gets a start in left field.

Hicks (shoulder) allowed two unearned runs over two innings in his first rehab appearance with Single-A San Jose on Tuesday.

Hicks struck out a pair and threw 27 pitches in his first appearance since landing on the 15-day injured list two weeks ago with right shoulder inflammation. It might be the only rehab outing he requires before rejoining the Giants, perhaps as soon as later this week.

Imanaga (13-3) got the win over the Dodgers on Tuesday, allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out four over seven innings. He did not issue a walk.

Imanaga was hurt by the long ball, as he allowed three solo home runs, including two home runs to Tommy Edman. Imanaga was awarded a fourth straight victory after the Cubs rallied in the eighth for five runs to put him in line for the win. The lefty has now reached seven innings in three of his last four starts and Tuesday marked his eighth start this season without a walk. He owns a 3.03 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 159:25 K:BB in 160.1 innings and lines up for a home start against Oakland to begin next week.

Yamamoto did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs, allowing one run on four hits while striking out eight over four innings. He did not issue a walk.

Yamamoto looked electric in his first start since June 15, striking out eight through three innings and registering an impressive 41 percent CSW rate on 59 pitches. His only troublesome inning was in the second when the Cubs strung together three singles to bring home their only run against him. Yamamoto will likely continue to build up his pitch count as the Dodgers gear up for another playoff run and he has a great matchup ahead of him against the Marlins next week. The 26-year-old now owns a 2.88 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 92:17 K:BB in 78 innings this year.

Roupp (0-1) took the loss against the Brewers on Tuesday, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out three over five innings.

The Brewers piled on four of their five hits against Roupp in the first inning, leading to two runs and a lead they would never give back. Roupp totaled 68 pitches and only allowed an infield single over the subsequent four innings following his rocky opening frame. He's maintained a 1.33 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over nine appearances (20.1 innings) since Aug. 9. It remains to be seen whether Roupp's next appearance will be made as a starter or out of the bullpen and will likely hinge on whether the Giants are able to get Robbie Ray (hamstring) back from the injured list next week.

Norby was scratched from Tuesday's lineup versus the Pirates due to left foot soreness, MLB.com reports.

Norby fouled a pitch off the foot during Monday's game and has some lingering discomfort. He was set to undergo further testing, but Marlins manager Skip Schumaker believes Norby will be OK. Consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Bermudez will make his first major-league start Wednesday against the Pirates, Stephen Storm of the Marlins Radio Network reports.

Bermudez's first two appearances with the Marlins have come in relief, but 17 of his 20 outings between Double-A Pensacola and Triple-A Jacksonville have been starts. His last start came more than three weeks ago, however, so the lefty will likely be a bit limited in how deep he'll be able to go into Wednesday's contests. Bermudez turned in unremarkable numbers over his six starts with Jacksonville (6.46 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 28:13 K:BB in 23.2 innings).

Williams earned a save against the Giants on Tuesday, allowing a hit and a walk while striking out two during a scoreless ninth inning.

Williams worked around a base hit and a walk in the inning with two strikeouts and a pop out to put the Giants away for his 10th save of the year. He's now working on seven straight scoreless appearances and has struck out 11 of the 20 batters he's faced over his last five outings. For the year, Williams has a 1.72 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB in 15.2 innings.

Civale (6-8) got the win over the Giants on Tuesday, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out two over 5.1 innings.

Civale was given an early 2-0 lead before he took the mound. He gave up a run of his own in the bottom of the first but then went on to retire 13 of the next 14 batters he faced before Mike Yastrzemski opened up the sixth inning with a solo home run. Civale was pulled after just 68 pitches, but the Brewers were able to hang on to get him his fourth win in his last six starts. He's now 4-2 with a 3.84 ERA in 11 starts for Milwaukee compared to 2-6 with a 5.07 ERA in 17 starts for the Rays. For the year, Civale owns a 4.57 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 136:47 K:BB in 145.2 innings and lines up for a tough road matchup against the Diamondbacks this weekend.
