Bellozo (2-4) took the loss against the Nationals on Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.
Bellozo was burned by homers in the second and sixth innings and was pulled with a 3-1 deficit at 92 pitches. The 24-year-old's velocity was down on each of his offerings, and he has now failed to complete six innings in nine of 11 outings this season. On the year, he owns a 3.70 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 39:19 K:BB across 58.1 innings and lines up to face Atlanta next weekend.
