Hendricks (4-12) allowed four runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out two over 5.1 innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Nationals.

All nine hits allowed by Hendricks on Saturday were singles as he went on to pick up his 12th loss, tying him for the second most in the National League this season. Hendricks' ERA currently sits at 6.28, and it has not dipped below the 6.00 mark all season. Despite the rough season, the 34-year-old has still managed to throw 121.1 innings in 23 starts.

Pages isn't in the Cardinals' lineup for Saturday's game against Cleveland.

Pages will get a chance to regroup Saturday after going 0-for-9 with five strikeouts across his last three games. Ivan Herrera will catch for Miles Mikolas and bat fifth.

Gurriel isn't in the Diamondbacks' lineup for Saturday's game against Milwaukee.

Gurriel went 2-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored during his first game back from the injured list Friday, and he'll take a seat Saturday as the D-backs ease him back into playing everyday. Pavin Smith will start in left field in Gurriel's absence.

Moreno isn't in Arizona's lineup Saturday versus Milwaukee.

Although Moreno has gone 6-for-13 with an RBI and two runs scored across his brief four-game hitting streak, he'll take a seat against Aaron Civale and the Brewers on Saturday. Jose Herrera will fill in at catcher and bat ninth.

Chourio isn't in Milwaukee's lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Chourio will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after going 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored during Friday's loss. While he rests, Sal Frelick, Blake Perkins and Garrett Mitchell will start across the Brewers' outfield.

Contreras isn't in the Brewers' lineup Saturday versus Arizona.

Contreras will get a chance to catch his breath Saturday after going 4-for-5 with a two-run homer in Friday's loss. Eric Haase will fill in behind the plate and bat ninth.

Gore (10-12) got the win Saturday against the Cubs, allowing one run on one hit and three walks while striking out nine over seven innings.

Gore took a no-hitter into the seventh inning for the first time in his career, but he proceeded to allow a solo homer to Patrick Wisdom. Gore has put together a strong run of five quality starts in his last six outings, with a 1.82 ERA in that stretch, and he's reached double-digit wins for the first time in his career. The 25-year-old enters his final start of the season with a 4.04 ERA and 172 strikeouts in 160.1 innings.

The Cardinals recalled Leahy from Triple-A Memphis on Saturday.

Leahy owns a 4.02 ERA and 1.02 WHIP through 47 innings with the Cardinals this season, and he's given up just one earned run across 5.2 Triple-A frames since making his last MLB appearance Sept. 6. He'll come up to give the Cards some additional bullpen depth as Sonny Gray (forearm) heads to the IL.

The Cardinals placed Gray on the 15-day injured list Saturday with right forearm flexor tendinitis.

Gray previously said that he pitched through soreness during his most recent start Wednesday, and he'll now be sidelined for the rest of the season due to his forearm issue. He will finish his first season in St. Louis with a 3.84 ERA and 1.09 WHIP alongside a 203:39 K:BB across 28 starts. Kyle Leahy was recalled from Triple-A Memphis to replenish St. Louis' pitching depth.

France went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Pirates.

France took Jared Jones deep in the third inning and snapped a streak of 14 games without a home run. After a hot stretch initially upon joining the Reds, France had hit a skid, slashing .200/.193/.255 with zero homers over his last 14 games. The 30-year-old has five of his 13 homers with Cincinnati to go along with a .746 OPS in 160 at-bats since joining his new team.
