Atlanta transferred Jimenez (knee) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday.

Jimenez is expected to be sidelined until the second half of the season while he remains on the mend from November surgery on his left knee, so his move to the 60-day IL won't affect his timeline for a return. The transaction will free up a spot on the 40-man roster for outfielder Stuart Fairchild, whom Atlanta acquired from Cincinnati on Monday.

Atlanta acquired Fairchild from the Reds on Monday in exchange for cash considerations, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Fairchild had been designated for assignment and will now join a new 40-man roster. The 29-year-old is a career .224/.308/.389 hitter over parts of four big-league seasons. He is out of minor-league options, so Fairchild will report to the major-league club.

Conine is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

The Marlins are facing a lefty for the third game in a row and this is the second time over that stretch that the left-handed hitting Conine has been out of the lineup. Dane Myers is starting in right field Monday.

Mervis is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

With southpaw David Peterson on the bump for the Mets, Marlins manager Clayton McCullough will run out a starting nine consisting of seven right-handed or switch hitters. Mervis will be joined on the bench by fellow left-handed hitters Griffin Conine and Kyle Stowers.

Stowers is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Stowers started the first three games of the season, including one against a lefty, but he's now been out of the lineup for two straight days versus southpaws. Javier Sanoja will handle left field for Miami.

Fortes is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.

Fortes will get a breather Monday after he worked behind the dish in both of the final two games of the Marlins' weekend series versus Pittsburgh. Liam Hicks will pick up the start at catcher in place of Fortes, who has recorded one extra-base hit (two doubles, one triple) in each of his first three games of the season.

Murphy (rib) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Previous reports suggested that Murphy would likely start his rehab assignment at High-A Rome on Friday, but Atlanta has pushed him up a few days. Murphy will be eligible for activation from the 10-day injured list Friday and would seem to have a shot to return then, although the club has not revealed a target date for their starting catcher. Drake Baldwin has been serving as the club's primary backstop to begin the season with Murphy out.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

For the second game in a row, Taylor will hit the bench while the opposition sends a right-hander to the mound. The Mets' center-field situation appears to be fluid, but for now, Jose Siri may be a slightly favored option over Taylor after Siri made an impact in his team debut Saturday in Houston by going 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored.

Winker is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Though right-hander Cal Quantrill is on the bump for Miami, the left-handed-hitting Winker will take a seat, despite starting in both of the Mets' previous two matchups with righties. Starling Marte will step in for Winker as the Mets' DH and will handle leadoff duties.

Lindor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins following the birth of his child, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

According to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, Mets manager Carlos Mendoza acknowledged Saturday that Lindor was expecting his third child in the coming days, but the veteran shortstop remained with the team in Houston throughout the weekend before his wife gave birth earlier Monday. Notably, the Mets haven't placed Lindor on the paternity list, so the 31-year-old could meet back up with the team in Miami at some point later on during the three-game series versus the Marlins.
