May is recovering from arthroscopic elbow surgery and should return to the mound before the end of June, Jim Callis of MLB Pipeline reports.

The No. 70 overall pick in the 2024 First-Year Player Draft, May dealt with an elbow strain during his junior year at Oregon State and has not yet made his pro debut. He is on the 60-day injured list at Single-A Jupiter. He has a plus slider and an above-average fastball that could play up in relief if starting doesn't work out.

McNeil (oblique) is traveling to Florida to ramp up his rehab program and still hopes to be activated before the end of April, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

McNeil had been rehabbing in New York, but he's headed to warmer temperatures as he accelerates his program, which includes taking batting practice on the field Tuesday for the first time since his oblique injury. The Mets haven't provided word yet regarding when he might be ready for a rehab assignment, but it shouldn't be long. McNeil will take over as the Mets' primary second baseman once he's cleared to return from the 10-day injured list.

Lux started at second base and went 0-for-4 in Monday's 2-0 win over San Francisco.

Matt McLain's lingering hamstring injury has forced manager Terry Francona to use a fill-in second basemen the last four games. It was Lux's turn Monday after Santiago Espinal started the previous three contests. Until Monday, Lux was used exclusively in left field as a fill-in for Austin Hays (calf). He could rejoin the team on an upcoming homestand that begins Friday, which means Lux would be freer to move around the infield.

Santillan retired the lone batter faced over a third of an inning to pick up the save in Monday's 2-0 win over the Giants.

Hunter Greene attempted to finish what he started but allowed a two-out single and walk, which prompted manager Terry Francona to send in the cavalry. On this night, that was Santillan, who got Heliot Ramos to line out on a 3-1 four-seamer. The save was Santillan's first of the season and first since 2022. He's the third Reds reliever to log a ninth-inning save opportunity, as Francona does not appear to have a go-to guy since Alexis Diaz (hamstring) was removed from the role amid command issues this spring. Diaz is expected to make at least two more appearances while on rehab at Triple-A Louisville but is not guaranteed to get the closer's job back.

Dunn started in right field and went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in Monday's 2-0 win over San Francisco.

Dunn was a late addition to the starting lineup after Jake Fraley was scratched with left side pain. The fill-in outfielder struck out in his first three at-bats, but Fraley's absence turned fortuitous when Dunn drove in the game's only runs in the eighth inning. He's batting just .176 (3-for-17) and struck out eight times to open the season, but Dunn's homered and doubled in his last two outings.

Tawa started at second base and went 0-for-3 in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Orioles.

Tawa made his second start in the three games since being called up from Triple-A Reno in the wake of Ketel Marte's hamstring injury. He's gone hitless over six at-bats since singling in his first MLB plate appearance. Tawa was instrumental in ending Zac Gallen's night by not receiving the ball cleanly on a potential inning-ending double play, which allowed a run to score and led to Ryan Mountcastle's two-run single that led to Gallen getting the hook.

McCarthy went 0-for-3 in Monday's 5-1 loss to Baltimore.

McCarthy extended a hitless streak to start the season and is now 0-for-22. The results align with his underlying measures at Statcast, which include zero barrels. McCarthy's experienced lows before and has come back, but the job share in center field may tilt toward Alek Thomas if the low-wattage bat continues.

Thompson (lat) has progressed to throwing from 100 feet on flat ground, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Thompson was diagnosed with a left lat strain in early March and will require a standard spring training buildup before he's ready for games. The left-hander was shifted to the 60-day injured list Monday, so he won't be eligible for activation until late May. Thompson is likely to be assigned to Triple-A Memphis once he's healthy.

Pozo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Pirates.

Playing in his first game at the major-league level since 2021, Pozo lined one over the left-field wall off of Carmen Mlodzinski in the sixth inning for his second career home run. The 27-year-old boasts a career .321/.343/.545 batting line at the Triple-A level, but it's unlikely he will see enough playing time to make a fantasy impact over the next few weeks while Ivan Herrera (knee) is shelved.

Tatis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-4 win over the Athletics.

Tatis gave the Padres an insurance run in the seventh inning with a 406-foot blast to left field. The long ball was Tatis' first since his second game of the campaign, but he did plenty of damage on offense in the interim. Tatis is slashing a robust .381/.449/.548 on the season, adding seven RBI , 10 runs and five stolen bases while recording a 6:5 BB:K through 49 plate appearances.
