The Rockies selected Trejo's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Trejo was re-acquired by the Rockies from the Rangers on Saturday in exchange for cash considerations. The 28-year-old infielder will join the 26-man roster ahead of Sunday's series finale against the Reds. He appeared in 28 games for Colorado in 2024, posting a .143/.182/.143 slash line with four runs scored and one RBI in 67 plate appearances.

Atlanta recalled Daniel from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Daniel takes the spot on the 26-man roster created when Jesse Chavez was designated for assignment. Daniel has started three games at Triple-A this season, going 0-2 with a 4.63 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 9:6 K:BB across 11.2 innings. The 27-year-old right-hander will likely serve as a long-relief option, though he could make a spot start or two while Spencer Strider (hamstring) is on the 15-day injured list.

Atlanta designated Chavez for assignment Sunday.

It's the second time Chavez has been DFA'd by Atlanta this season, after he elected for free agency then returned to the organization on a minor-league deal the last time. He was promoted to the majors Wednesday and saw action against the Diamondbacks on Friday, allowing one run on two hits and one walk while striking out two in one inning. Assuming he clears waivers, Chavez will once again have the option to reject a minor-league assignment and enter free agency.

McLain is not in the Reds' starting lineup against the Rockies on Sunday.

McLain will take a seat for Sunday's series finale after going 0-for-18 with nine strikeouts over his last four games. Gavin Lux will start at the keystone and bat fifth against Rockies right-hander Ryan Feltner.

Scott is not in the Cardinals' starting lineup against the Brewers on Sunday.

The Brewers are sending southpaw Jose Quintana to the mound, so Scott will begin Sunday's contest in the dugout while the Cardinals start Brendan Donovan, Lars Nootbaar and Jordan Walker in the outfield. Scott has gone 9-for-33 (.273) with two walks, four stolen bases, six runs scored and three RBI over his last 10 games.

DeJong will undergo surgery Monday to repair his sinuses and orbital plate, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

DeJong's nose was fractured when he was hit by a Mitch Keller pitch April 15. DeJong was placed on the 10-day injured list the next day, and after visiting a specialist it was determined that surgery was the best way forward for his recovery. He will go under the knife Monday and is expected to return to action this year, though a timeline for his return has not been established.

Adames went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Adames lined a two-RBI single into center field during the fifth inning, tying the game at 2-2. The 29-year-old shortstop has logged a hit in each of his last five games, during which he has recorded a .263 batting average with three RBI, a run scored and a 2:4 BB:K across 22 plate appearances. He's now slashing .205/.272/.268 with 14 RBI, 13 runs scored, four doubles, a home run and an 11:31 BB:K across 125 plate appearances in 28 games.

Young is not in the Nationals' starting lineup against the Mets on Sunday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Young will sit for Sunday's series finale after going 1-for-6 with one run scored over the past two games. Alex Call will draw a start in right field and bat eighth while Dylan Crews slides to center against Mets right-hander Tylor Megill.

Ruiz is not in the Nationals' starting lineup against the Mets on Sunday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Ruiz will get Sunday off while Riley Adams serves behind home plate and bats ninth against Mets right-hander Tylor Megill. Ruiz went 0-for-6 with two walks and a strikeout over the first two games of the series.

Huff went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.

Huff drew the start at catcher Saturday, cracking his first double of the season into right field before coming around to score in the fifth frame. The 27-year-old went 0-for-10 in his first four games, though he has recorded a .333 batting average with two runs scored and two RBI since. Huff is slashing .214/.290/.357 with a 3:11 BB:K across 31 plate appearances in 11 games.
